I'm not happy with paysafe

I'm not happy with paysafe, Twice money was deducted from my bank account never reflect in Paysafe account customer support doesn't exist cant reach them to solve the problem.
Overall experience not great I wouldn't recommend it

Customer service and unauthorized charging

I opened an account with Paysafe and the representative was nice and helpful. After a couple of months of use, the fees and transactions deposit time was not beneficial for my small business any longer. I started the process of closing my account and sending the POS terminal back to the company. After closing my account, I was charged the fee for an additional month of service. Following that ( more that 2 months later), I was charged $1,199.00 for the cost of the terminal which was sent back and I have the FEDEX confirmation email saying it was delivered and signed for. It is almost impossible to get anyone from customer service on the phone and the my representative will not answer and emails or phone calls either. To say I am unsatisfied is an understatement. Them taking the money from my account caused a chair reaction of purchases to overdraft my business ago causing me unnecessary financial institution fee. Very unsatisfied!

Finally got refund after they held my money for months.Dont ever do business with them.Ask yourself why would they withhold your money.Obviously they allegedly use your money to invest.Call your state and federal govt.and tell your story.

It's impossible to sign up

It's impossible to sign up, at least from Sweden. When you submit your phone number an SMS never comes.I have contacted support but clearly they have no answers or interest in resolving the matter. Or to even to hear about it.

When googling the matter there are even review sites who say that registering isn't possible because an SMS never comes.

Just stay away.

These people are criminals

This is a scam, illegitamate, criminal company. They will steal your money in exorbitant fees and even after cancelling, (and they send you confirmation of cancellation) they will continue to charge you necessitating hours spent with Customer Support. I would give them -1000 stars if possible. You would get charged less from money lenders or the Mafia. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

A group of 3 providers had considered…

A group of 3 providers had considered signing up with Paysafe that was initially advertised as Leaders Merchants. Before we moved forward, we did additional BBB search as well as public rating which caused concerns to us providers. 2 of the providers had submitted their information for billing with the banks and starting April 1, 2026 we received bank account deductions of $23.00.
We had reached out to personnel with Paysafe advising them that we were wishing to cancel before sending out the processing machine/reader. I sent documents via fax as well as spoke with someone from the number recommended by the agent we were dealing with. There was not to be a fee for monthly services and that was a misrepresentation.
We returned the POS machine without opening it. Previously with Square, we decided to do so given the misrepresentation in a number of instances.
Called today and they indicated someone reached out to talk and sent emails which none of us received.
I have spoken with my bank to decline he charges from this merchant.
I do not recommend using this group for POS processing.

I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after trying to resolve this matter privately since 2024, I feel obligated to share my experience.

I have made multiple attempts to contact this company regarding recurring charges of $99.00 and $19.95 that continued to be billed to my account despite my efforts to stop them. I repeatedly attempted to communicate with the assigned sales representative, Jorge, but unfortunately received little to no response over an extended period of time.

What has been most frustrating is being informed that refunds or account resolutions must be approved by the same representative who has not properly responded to my repeated requests for assistance.

As a business owner, I understand that mistakes and misunderstandings can happen. However, customer service and accountability are extremely important, especially when clients are requesting billing assistance and cancellation support.

At this point, I am simply requesting:
- That all recurring charges stop immediately
- That my concerns be properly addressed
- That communication be handled professionally and transparently

I truly hope this matter can still be resolved amicably and professionally without further escalation.

This review reflects my personal experience with this company.

This service is absolutely terrible!

This service is absolutely terrible! I have now been trying to do a simple name change. Money was transferring into our new account fine until they they realized the names didn’t match and help all of our funds. I completely understood this so the current owner and I called to have it switched. This was done on a Wednesday. They told us we would have our funds in 24-48 hours. Friday afternoon came and still no money. I then had to call every morning to which I was told to provide more things even though the previous day was told they had everything they needed. By the next Friday I still had no funds and the customer service just kept repeating a speech about how sorry they were that this was frustrating meanwhile they had my money. It doesn’t take a week an a half to do this nor should I have to call every morning to find they still need more information. They are terrible and I do not recommend you use this company for anything!

They are horrible I highly recommend that you do not use paysafe. Communication and customer service they can't even give me a direct answer on why they closed my account and charged me $350 so here we go I have to probably take them to small claims court.

Scammers

Scammers! Said I was approved a loan of £2000 but there was a £25 upfront fee for insurance which I stupidly paid. Then they emailed asking if I can send £110 to get the money deposited within 30 mins. Told them to cancel and refund my £25 which they still haven’t done. Don’t fall for it

Scam

Scam, stay as far away from this as you can!

Since they replied to this message i will elaborate (edidted after their reply):

I tried to use Paysafe as a payment option on a website where they were listed. First, I created a one time card and loaded it with money. Only after doing that was I told that this site does not accept one time cards, and that I would need to create a full account instead.

So I created an account and added my card. After completing that process, I was then told that their service could not be used on the website at all.

At that point I tried to withdraw my money, only to discover that the refund fee was higher than the amount I had deposited. In practice, that means I lost the money without receiving any service.

To make matters worse, I cannot close my account because there is still a balance on it. The only way to proceed is to go through a full identity verification process. I was never required to provide this level of sensitive information when creating the account, but now I am expected to hand over detailed ID documents just to access or close it.

There is no way I am comfortable sharing that kind of personal information with a company after an experience like this. I have no confidence that my data would be handled safely.

Overall, the process feels misleading from start to finish, and structured in a way that makes it very difficult to get your money back.

I would strongly recommend staying far away and using a different payment provider.

I want to open Bussines Account for my bussines, I create request 23.4.2026 and they still didnt approve/cancel my request. I already send email "Status" to newbusiness(at)skrill.com and still no response. wise , stripe, mollie , nowpayments, revolut, everything I created and all aproved within 24h without any issue, but here ? i dont know how long i should wait.. weeks ? months ? years ? decades ? how long they will review my Aplication ?

Answer this in simple words: Why you closed without asking customer why not the other one is closed why that one is closed in which i deposited.

I think Paysafe is a great resource / platform. I problem is that my purpose is to create a way for people to pay online for my online courses. I did not find setting that up easy but rather difficult. So I bailed.

Scam at its finest

Scam at its finest. They charge you £25 for the loan to be released saying you will be loaned out £5110. But to release that 5110 you need to pay another 110 through gift card. 🤣🤣🤣what a joke. Emailed them saying I want my money back never replied so told them to keep it. 🤣🤣

Great Service, Rates, User Friendly Platform

The sign-up process was very easy and the rates were very reasonable. I signed up in January 2026 due to dissatisfaction with another processing company involving high rates and horrible communication. The communication with this company is very good. I love the user-friendly website’s platform and phone app that can serve to collect payments through Apple Pay or tap card processing. I am so very happy with this company!
