We are done with PayPal

We are done with PayPal. They will not do anything to remedy a problem. They will just leave it up to you and the vendor. The problem is that most vendors are automated and not set up to resolve problems. I've been with PayPal from the beginning and tried to cancel my account tonight. I'm pretty sure it didn't work.

I paid Groupon but did not receive anything. I asked PayPal to intervene which they did but closed my case as they said Groupon had delivered to me. They refused to believe me. They refused to contact me. I was unable to find a telephone number to speak to someone.

I want to share my experience because small business owners deserve to be treated with respect, not like garbage.

I want to share my experience because I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with a service that is so widely used, yet has shown such poor customer support and a complete lack of understanding toward business customers!!!!

I have a business account and run a small business. I have invested a huge amount of effort, time and money into my work and advertising. In the middle of my business operations, during the peak of my campaign, my account was suddenly restricted without any warning or prior notice!!!!!!!

When I realized that my PayPal account had been restricted, I immediately tried to find out what had happened. After using the account for a long time without issues, it was suddenly restricted and I was asked to upload additional documents to confirm that the account belongs to me. I submitted everything immediately, but PayPal informed me that the review process may take 3 to 5 days before the restriction is removed!!!?????!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, my small business is suffering!!! I cannot receive payments and I cannot even withdraw the money I have honestly earned!!!!It is unacceptable that a company of this size treats small business owners like garbage!!!!, despite the fact that we also bring them profit and trust their platform with our businesses!!!

PayPal does not protect customers from scammers.

Found a scam new to me where you buy something online for lets say $30.00 but are charged $60.00. When you dispute through PayPal, the seller will refund the $30.00 overcharge to close the dispute and send you a worthless item. Since you already closed the dispute PayPal will not allow you to dispute again for the worthless item. You get the worthless item, the scam seller now gets your $30. For this reason I am closing my PayPal account and encouraging others to rely on banks for buyer protection, not the middleman (PayPal)

Time to Leave PayPal

I signed up for a 'free trial' with an abominable company that sneakily took payment immediately through a tricky, non-transparent 'Welcome' popup that I clicked onto. The popup nullified the 30-day trial and took the annual payment. WHO in their right mind would WANT that?? Pay full whack and forget 30 days free?! That company has 1-star reviews streaming in here on Trustpilot by the hour for this very practice. I opened a case with PayPal only for them to side with the seller, without even acknowledging an email from said company that I gave as proof, showing that I was promised an instant refund by them. Of course, that refund is still missing and it looks like they were palming me off. Surely PayPal knows what this company is like? I think that they're in cahoots though, because when I went to Report a Problem in the PayPal screen, a link opens directly to the aforementioned company. So they are not impartial, in my opinion and it raises a concern re kickbacks from the shady company to keep the money rolling in and no bother from PayPal. I'm thoroughly disgusted, after being a PayPal customer for over 20 years. It's time to find an alternative to them, at least there are plenty more options than there were when PayPal started. Very disappointing!

If I could give PayPal a zero star I would anyways where do I start? I’ve been with PayPal for a good while and I couldn’t remember the password to my old PayPal account so I made a new account up then I have funds in my account then they wouldn’t let me use my virtual card online and they kept saying it’s because of a change of information to it a couple days then I messaged him five more times they said the same thing next day later I went into my account. It says my account is permanently close deactivate it and I have to wait 180 days for my funds. PayPal is just a big scam so they could take your money !!

I have seen unauthorised payments on my account and I have been trying to resolve this - customer care is disgusting . They just do not get to the bottom of the issue , they either say they will get back to you and wont or say that the conversation is inactive mid conversation and log out like my last experience today - it's absolutely not acceptable !! I require a refund on 3 unauthorised payments I dont recognize the company or what service I am paying for . Zendocs.com !!??

I would give it no stars if I could

I would give it no stars if I could. They blocked a transaction that I’ve been making overtime for payment and their response was the system did it. No resolution customer service was horrible. Couldn’t explain why all of a sudden it was blocked and did nothing to assist in aiding the transaction. Told me to use another payment system. Horrible they were horrible.

I have been using paypal for years now…

I have been using paypal for years now as a public and professional account, recently I have had to open disputes with la poste for parcels returned to me after a few days undelivered for no reason! this amounts to over €250 in the last 12 months,
reclamations were sent with no response after weeks and weeks
As I opened reclamations with la poste you all know that amounts to nothing in the end so I open cases with paypal send every possible detail and photos of said parcels returned to me due to negligence on the behalf of la poste, I send the tracking number showing the items are returned to me in a few days,la poste get back with a tracking number same one I sent showing the parcel was not delivered so service was not as described, after 6 weeks paypal side with la poste and im out of pocket with 3 unhappy clients also.
so it seems that paypal now works alongside businesses that are not honest and want to take your hard earned money with no recourse.
I have now been told if i do not agree with these outcomes I have to send a letter to paypal omaha in USA to contend these crimes,do I use la poste again or will the letters come back to me also again?
Its a shame the world has changed in this direction that a company that I always trusted to treat me like a human being is now in cahoots with the rest of the bandits and scammers, shame on you paypal.

Nightmare service provider.Avoid if you don't want to loss your money

i have a horrible experience using this service. i had a an account for PayPal for many years and i haven't being using it for sometime unfortunately i was to receive some fund and the only to do so was through PayPal. once the money was in the account they froze the account for 48hrs investigating after which the money was released. i had some issues when i tried to withdraw the money and conctacted their customer care agents for help and i followed all their instruction after 3 attempts of failed withdrawal my account got permanently blocked with no explanation . i have tried numerous time to reach out to their support team but all i get is robotic responses from the agents stating that the account is blocked and there is nothing they can do about it. i feel so hopeless i cant access my money and there is no help from their side. i have tried to explain to then even gone further to state i am happy to do kyc to proof that the funds and account belongs to me but no one what's to listen. Please don't use their services or else your money will magically disappear.

This company should NOT be in business. Unacceptable Customer Service, ridiculous fees and they take a week to credit your account after they have received the money from your bank. You would get more help from a 5 yer old than what you get from their Customer Service department.

FINAL UPDATE: CASE RESOLVED SUCCESSFULLY

I am writing this final update to confirm that my issue has been completely resolved. Following my complaints to the executive office and federal regulators, a senior PayPal representative contacted me directly. They were responsible, highly professional, and courteous throughout the conversation. After manually verifying the legitimate origin of my payroll deposits and reviewing my identification, they successfully mitigated the system flags and fully restored access to my account and my funds in less than 30 minutes. I am highly satisfied with this respectful resolution. Thank you to the PayPal executive escalation team for stepping in and doing the right thing.
