Payoneer has held my £1000 payment for over 100 days without any clear reason. I contacted support more than 25 times, and every time they said it would be resolved in 2 business days, which never happened. They keep closing tickets without actually fixing the issue. Very disappointing experience, this has seriously affected my business. I would recommend that everyone never use Payoneer. I look at it now as a scammer.

Payoneer is one of the most useless service
Payoneer is one of the most useless and frustrating services I have ever used. I honestly do not understand how this company operates.
My account was approved and working, and then 12 hours later I was told that it had been deactivated.
Fine, I created another account, and then they told me the new account could not be activated because I already had an existing account. The problem is that the original account was blocked, and they are now asking me to log in to the blocked account. That is the dumbest thing ever.
Funds Pending for Days Without Clear Support
My payment has been pending with Payoneer since May 11, and the experience has been extremely frustrating.
I received emails requesting verification documents, but when I log into my account, the Verification Center shows “No open requirements,” making it impossible for me to submit anything.
I contacted customer support multiple times and was eventually told that there were no requested documents on my account and that my case had been escalated. However, days later, I still have no update, no resolution, and no clear communication regarding my funds.

This payment is important to me, and the lack of coordination and timely communication from a financial service handling people’s livelihoods is very disappointing.
I hope Payoneer reviews this case urgently and improves its customer support process.
14 Days Unresolved, Broken Promises & Contradictory Responses
I have been trying to verify my bank account for withdrawal since May 4. Here is what happened:
1. May 7 – Agent T sent a generic troubleshooting template, ignoring that I had already tried all suggested steps.
2. May 9 – Agent E promised an update within 12 business hours. I waited over 40 hours with no response.
3. May 15 – Agent D personally promised "you can have my word, I will update you within this day." She never did.
4. May 15 – At the same time Agent D was promising me an approval, Payoneer automatically sent a rejection email and deleted my bank account without explanation.
5. May 15 – Their AI assistant gave me instructions meant for payers, not payees.
14 days, 4+ contacts, broken promises, contradictory responses. Still unresolved.
Avoid if you rely on this platform for your income.
I absolutely do not recommend this platform
I opened a Payoneer account in 2022 to receive my Airbnb payments. At first, everything was fine... Then, during the 2024-2025 period, I requested a card to continue using their services. That is when the nightmare began.
This is by far the worst financial service I have ever used. The customer service is mediocre, the card delivery time is extremely slow, and sometimes you don't even receive it. On top of that, the app is often slow and unintuitive for basic tasks, such as transferring funds to an external account.
My funds were blocked for 2 months without me being able to access them. Finally, the account closure process is completely ambiguous; you can't even tell if the system is actually working. I absolutely do not recommend this platform.
I cannot login into my account
I cannot login into my account from web. It's asking always for 2FA through their app or external one, but the QR codes does not work.
I can't find useful informations into support center and it's impossible to reach anybody for help.
I thought you need to have a fully working platform before dropping human support, not vice-versa.
You have blocked my account
You have blocked my account. I have already sent all the requested documents and, so far, I have not received any information from you. I need access to my money. If the account is permanently blocked, I would like a clear explanation, as I no longer know what to do.
The most frustrating thing is that your customer service never resolves anything; they only give explanations to appease the customer while the money and the account remain blocked. This drastically increases our stress. I have customers waiting for products to be shipped, but the money is held on the platform. I can't make the refund because the account is blocked, and I also don't have the capital to cover the shipping costs any other way. Meanwhile, my website is receiving reports of scams, as customers make payments but don't receive the products. I can't ship them without first accessing the restricted funds in the wallet, since the linked withdrawal account is Payoneer. I ask that you return to providing customer service through Instagram as you did before, because the current situation is causing enormous frustration and harming my business.
Technical block remains after official unblock - 3 weeks without my funds
My account and cards were frozen on April 27 while I was traveling in Morocco. I provided all necessary documents via official email correspondence. After 2 weeks of review, on May 11, I received an official confirmation email stating that everything was cleared and my account was active again. However, this is a technical lie: my balances (USD/EUR) still show red restrictions on both the website and app, and my funds ($551) remain blocked. Today is May 19, and support has been completely ignoring my new emails and follow-ups for over a week. I am stuck abroad without access to my money because of your system bug. Fix the synchronization and release my funds! My Customer ID: 31222221
UPDATE MAY 21: You officially informed me that the block was lifted. However, the physical card is still rejected at stores and ATMs where it used to work perfectly fine. Your system successfully received the ATM request and even charged me a $1 fee for the declined attempt, which proves that the local network works, but Payoneer's internal processing is blocking the usage. Please fix this card-level restriction, refund the incorrect fee, and fully restore processing. Customer ID: 31222221

I can't even pay an invoice. The two-factor authentication is terrible. I've never had a harder time sending a payment to someone through the app. I click a link sign in, authenticate, and it makes me sign in again and I'm stuck in an infinite loop where I can never actually pay an invoice. Then it makes me verify through email, phone number AND scanning a QR code. All to be redirected to sign in again. I never leave bad reviews but it took me literally an hour to send someone $30. Awful experience, don't recommend.

One of the most frustrating payment platforms I’ve used.
Transactions get stuck for days with no clear explanation while support keeps sending copy-paste replies. If a payment cannot go through, reject it and return the funds instead of freezing users’ money.
On top of high transaction fees, there are also confusing annual charges with little transparency. For freelancers and small earners, delayed payments create real problems.
Very disappointing experience.
