Information provided by various external sources

Patients Know Best (PKB) is Europe’s largest personal health record platform, enabling patients and healthcare professionals to access real-time health information - anytime, anywhere. As the world’s first patient-controlled personal health records system, PKB facilitates borderless, integrated care wherever the patient needs it. That means any healthcare provider, whether in another area of the country or another part of the world, can immediately access all the information they need to support improved clinical decision making and the best patient care. Everything from test results, care plans, real-time monitoring data and discharge summaries, to the patient’s own data - either uploaded from their journal, wearable devices or using symptom tracking, are all available in one patient record. This also reduces the need for professionals to request background information from the patient’s regular healthcare team. In 2020, PKB became the first personal health record (PHR) to integrate with England’s national health platform - the NHS App. This extends the NHS App’s current features and sharing of GP data, to allow patients to access PKB’s full health and care record and functionality, direct from the national NHS interface. Lack of Patient involvement

Well, the name says it all, but have they told the NHS this? An often muddled site competing it seems with NHS App, My chart, Chat GP, Patches etc, all leads to
confusion which is not surprising.
Lack of Patient involvement is a one of many problems
but what can you do with an organisation that expects some staff to work their hearts out and others to do next to zero.

I was unable to open a letter from PKB despite changing my password, so I emailed them the problem.
I received a prompt reply that my problem would be looked into.
Within a couple of days they had solved the issue. I am very satisfied with their service.

Dreadful website

Dreadful website.
Can't register, can't log on, can't select the hospital I had treatment at,can't access anything.
Password reset requested multiple times, no emails received.
Just go round and round in circles.
Very poor as waiting on results for cancer treatment.

Excellent PKB's Support team

Contacted PKB's Support regarding access issues, their agent Jo was quickly able to identify the issue, and provide a solution restoring full access to my health records.
Jo showed patience and understanding regarding the issue and demonstrated great knowledge of the system to be able to offer the support in a timely, polite and friendly manner.

Thank you Jo for your time!

If I could give zero stars I would do…

If I could give zero stars I would do so. I must avoid stress and getting a text telling me to access patient knows best but not allowing me to do so - how do I join, sign in, etc it won’t let me. Is really bad I have several different problems so which clinical team has sent me a letter. This company should be terminated and fined

Nonsense to provide unfiltered data to laymen.

This “Patients Know Best” lark is a nonsense. I have been sent a chart of complicated test data on me, which even with intelligence and good research skills I struggle to understand completely, and without medical training am likely to jump to incorrect conclusions.

A serious disease

A serious disease, stressed to the max that does not consider the patient’s mental health. The human condition is not supposed to communicate with apps, we are not supposed to live this way. How many years taken over a life span, downloading apps that are far too complex & actually don’t work? I have no idea the results of any medical reports because I cannot gain access! Great idea! How much has PKB cost that could have been spent on patient care?
