I have bought several items by Patagonia in their Dublin store. All but one were affected by discolouration. The worst case was a black t-shirt that developed brown stains on the first wear. When I tr... See more

Accidentally ordered the wrong size…
Accidentally ordered the wrong size item. I contacted the company immediately but never got a response. I tried to cancel the order but you can’t cancel. Wish I had read up on the company before ordering
Really warm and comfortable clothing
Really warm and comfortable clothing, my first choice when in need of something to really keep the cold out. I like their fleeces and down hooded coats.
Terrible customer service…
Really disappointing customer service experience. I ordered a jacket to be delivered specifically to my local post office. The tracking information states that it has been delivered to the post office and is ready to collect. However, I've attempted to pick up the jacket multiple times and the post office are saying they don't have it.
I contacted patagonia via their online contact form 3 days ago explaining the issue in detail and asking them to look into it. Today I got a reply that implies they didn't even read my initial explanation of the issue. They said that their records show the parcel has been delivered and if I could confirm I have received it. But, as stated in my initial email, the tracking says it was delivered to the pick up point and is ready to collect. The problem is that it is not there. No doubt I will now have to wait another 3 days for them to respond again. Seems like a very inefficient system.
I decided to ring their helpline, as they advise to do this for urgent issues, and since it's been almost 2 weeks since I made my order and a week since it was supposedly ready to collect, i am concerned that it will be returned back to the warehouse from where ever it currently is. Unfortunately, their phone number doesn't even work and just plays an automated message saying they are out of the office (at 2pm on a Thursday)
Really dissapointed with the lack of customer service. Given the size of the company you would think they could afford to adequately staff a customer service team. I will not be buying from them again and will be advising others not to either.
Product broke at first use + difficult online experience
I bought a mountain shell in a third party store, it broke down at the first washing + drying cycle. I asked support on their website to repair it and they never replied. At that point I thought that they were just another greenwashing company. Then I went to a store and I admit they were nice people and did their best to fix it. Still...
Blamed me for losing return
I ordered a bunch of items right around Labor Day, kept a couple, and returned the rest. Patagonia said it received the return and issued a refund (this process was really slow, took a couple weeks). A couple weeks after that they emailed me saying they never received the return and that I owed them $1,000.
I called Customer Service and the person I spoke to was really accusatory, basically inferring that I had scammed them. I hadn't.
Later that day I got another email from a Customer Service manager saying that "although we don't know what happened to the return, we're not going to charge you for it".
Do I get to charge them for the 30min I spent fighting with them on the phone?
I really like Patagonia gear, but this is a deal breaker for me.
Visited the store in Pittsburgh
Visited the store in Pittsburgh, PA. I like the Patagonia products, hence my visit to the store. I purchased $500 worth of products. The bad news is that the store, while neat and organized, is run by people who showed no interest in customer service whatsoever. No, “Hello, how can I help you?”, or “Can I help you find something?” or “Perhaps, I might suggest the following item?” Basically, two people working in a store who have no pride in their work or the brand they represent. Sad and disappointing.
Great company with high-quality…
Great company with high-quality products and good customer service. Bought some great hiking gear from them over the years and it's all held up really well. Recently saw they got into food as well— pretty cool.
In love
Order 2 fleeces for upcoming autumn season, delivery was quick and they fit like a glove. I love the brand and what it stands for and their amazing designs make buying more and more Patagonia a no-brainer.
it may be a good brand, but do not order online
it may be a good brand, but i would advise against ordering online. I ordered items total of more than $300 3 weeks ago. Order status still says being processed. No tracking number available.
$20 Return fees are Outrageous, felt robbed
Return fees are Outrageous. I bought 56$ shorts and the sizing was abnormally large so I had to return them. I did it within 24hrs of getting them they charged me $20 for the return. I only got 36$ back on my card. One of the worst online experiences i have had. I felt like I was robbed. I normally really like Patagonia items and like them as a company but I will never shop their again.
Terrible customer service, not good enough eturned an item for refund and…
Returned an item for refund and received confirmation of receipt from Patagonia. Chased my refund 14 working days later. Patagonia now requesting proof of postage even though they sent an acknowledgement of receipt email. Now launching an investigation and refund will be at least another 14 working days. Not good enough.
Great products
Great products. Have a polar since 8 years and is still in perfect shape.
Charged but no items!
Charged for the order and never received it.
I purchased a few items in march, after a few days they realise the main item is out of stock (!!!). My card was charged anyways, they argued it was a temporary hold, but it was never released. I have called and sent multiple emails. No answer.
Great Products Great Sevice
Patagonia is best outdoor clothing company I've ever dealt with. Their products are well designed, well made, and last almost forever. Their return and recycling policy is outstanding. They just gave me a $40 credit when I returned my 30-year-old beat-to-hell backpack. One of these days I'll return my 30+-year-old Patagonia fleece and rain jacket, but they're still in pretty good shape. Service in the New York Soho store is excellent.
I purchased a men's patagonia torrent…
I purchased a men's patagonia torrent shell jacket some time ago and recently noticed the inner lining flaking away, contacted patagonia and was told that this is normal and that the "jacket had reached the end of it's life and need to discards apparently it's normal for a £130 shell jacket to be binned because you say so,what an appalling company,I have purchased many patagonia items over the years, gear mainly but never again, patagonia your customer service stinks!
Ignore this company the statements they make are.falae..
They promise the world but when a small item like a zip gets broken they turn there backs on the supposed Patagonia save the planet guarantee..
My fishing buddy has had an SST for a number of years as have I but the zipper broke..
In contact with Patagonia and surprise surprise they are unable to fix...
We will never purchase from the lying Patagonia advertising and we shall never recommend...
World's worst customer service...
I support this brand.
I own a lot of Patagonia products and I've been happy with them. Most recently I bought the Black Hole MLC Pack from them online which was delivered promptly and has been great. I love the fact that you can buy second hand gear from them, via worn wear. I've tried to buy a three pieces through that. 2 were delivered and one was not (I wasn't charged so its fine).
I've also bought a collection of jeans, ski gear, jackets and packs from them over the years mostly through resellers like REI.
It's also notable that 1% of sales goes to charity.
I just had the best experience with…
I just had the best experience with this brand in store. The sales woman who helped my get some things for an upcoming hiking vacation (as a newbie hiker) was so appreciated! Took one star off because one of the items I bought (a fleece) pilled more than expected in the wash, so that product in particular should have come with better washing instructions.
