I've recently joined Parasol and have been really impressed with the support I've received from the pensions team.
Lorraine Tench was extremely helpful throughout the process of setting up employer pension contributions to my existing PensionBee pension. She answered all of my questions clearly, explained the options available, provided several illustrations to help with decision-making, and responded quickly to emails.
When I accidentally submitted a form with the wrong contribution amount, Lorraine amended everything promptly and made the process completely straightforward.
Excellent customer service, clear communication, and a genuinely helpful approach throughout. Many thanks to Lorraine for all her assistance.

Parasol have been fantastic. Onboarding was thorough and made the process really smooth. Special mention to Amy, who handled and resolved an issue that came up exceptionally well. To keep constant and helpful communication, even when things were outside of her control, really helped with issues resolution made me feel involved and informed at all times. This was my first time using an umbrella company, and the team walked me through the process clearly, ensuring I understand each sections, they broken down how much I am entitled to, which was very helpful, no gatekeeping. When on onboarding, they checked in on me via phone and email to see if I need support. I really felt welcome, and the process was made easy for my first time freelancing. Thank you

Jen was an absolute star!! She responded really quickly and got me what I needed in record time. This is exactly why I love working with Parasol! They are very friendly and efficient people.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Would NOT recommend using this company at all. Constant issues with pay, due to them not updating their system despite telling me multiple times that they have updated it for me. Meant I have been over taxed for months, they then told me I'd get a month free from margin which they then refunded outside of my standard pay, which meant that I got taxed on top of that and ended up just being worse off? Useless company, would never use again and would tell people to not bother using them either.

Prompt and polite - I had a call back very quickly after my initial query. The person was very well informed and professional and my account was set up very quickly.

I spoke to Eva today and she was so helpful and friendly .. I had loads of questions re my payslip etc and she answered everyone professionally and efficiently ❤️

I have left a review of 5* around the initiation phase of joining parasol which was great.

I have had a few things post initiation phase including my tax code. Today I spoke with Andy E who was superb. I sent over my P45 which needed to be uploaded prior to pay so I didn’t have to go through the rigmarole of a P6 from the HMRC.

Within 20 minutes of receiving the document the issue was resolved.

Andy and the parasol onboarding team have been exceptional through this process.

This is a great company that I would highly recommend.

I find the payroll team very helpful, I had a particularly good experience with Prabhjot recently.

I had a choice of several companies but chose Parasol for their cost and flexibility.
