Be careful, make sure you know what you're doing!
I paid $50 for their service but It took me 24h to realize I had made a wrong decision. Paperspace doesn’t warn you that you need to manually shut down the machine after setup, which led to it running continuously without my knowledge. As a result, they refused to refund me, claiming the machine was “used” non-stop — even though it was unintentional.
Their customer support was unhelpful, and their commercial service responded in bad faith. They know exactly what they are doing since they warn you that what is paid is paid. Is it even legal to not allow a withdrawal period?
I strongly do not recommend Paperspace, especially for new users who are not familiar with their billing system. Be extremely careful if you decide to try it.
thieves
joined up on a "free" plan in October
they then switched me to a paid Pro plan and began charging me monthly since November. They provided no clear notice of this upgrade, no upfront cost breakdown, and no renewal notifications before each charge. This is a direct violation of UK consumer law, which requires businesses to inform users of upcoming payments and obtain consent for renewals.
contacted them and was told i apparently upgraded it ( I didn't) and they were not going to give me the money they stole over the past few months and intend to keep charging my card.
I had to reach out to my bank to put a stop to their fraud, luckily my bank blocked future transactions and are clawing back my money from these crooks

They keep sending bills while I have no activity.
Stay away from these people

Just go with aws or google.
I wish i would of read the reviews…
I wish i would of read the reviews first! I used the service to deploy a model, the deployment failed to build after 30 minutes with an error. There was no option to see what the error was and because the build had stopped I assumed the instance wasn't running! They then took £79 out of my bank account 2 days later for something i never used. I complained and was offered a £20 credit to use on the website, but why would i use their service after what happened, after being charged £79 for nothing. Do NOT use paperspace, they are unreliable and will charge you for something you didnt use.
Poor quality service
Poor quality service. Very unreliable and often not enough capacity.
They charge you and offer nothing.
They require you to add a card just to notify you your account isn't approved for anything. They make a "authorization" charge when adding the card and offer you nothing. You have to request access.
I strongly advise against using…
I strongly advise against using Paperspace and DigitalOcean. In my experience, these services operate like loan sharks, charging unexpected fees without clear communication about their pricing.
Paperspace, owned by DigitalOcean, engages in questionable and potentially illegal activities. Thankfully, I used a virtual card through Revolut, which protected me from potential financial harm.
I'd rather have my account suspended than risk losing money to these companies. Paperspace should be called "LoanSpace" due to their practice of charging exorbitant amounts—such as $108 for just 30 seconds of use.
because of building cost which never said
( I would Block them because if they owe you money that a big red flag
I never used anything on them and the risk are everything they do
( I never enter that site using paperspace like they own by them to scam others )
I got this message today ( 14.6.24 )
Your account has been suspended for non-payment and your resources have been powered off. Please submit a payment of $50.00 before Monday, Jun 24 to prevent your resources from being permanently deleted.
I would pay but is not my bill because paperspace never said about owe any more for using them
( they never learn suspended account will not pay because if the account was suspended means nothing from them can be send
( They try to change me even if they said is )
Greddy team - changed me on 8 of june ( paid out because is my usage not theirs to 9th of june than 11 june and even 12th of june like they wanted to reactive their bank by their users
they want me to pay £109.41 for just servers that are easy to remake else where cheaper
Unauthorized charges, did not comply with my requests for cancellation.
They did TWO unauthorized charges on my credit card, and did not process my cancellation requests forcing me to continue to be charged.
I am surprised this behavior is even legal, they need to be investigated for scamming.
Never enough capacity
Constantly over capacity on the local server. I have a 50/50 chance of actually managing to use the machine when I want to. I use it as a gaming machine (for which it works very well), but my gaming time is limited and I need it to be available much more than it is.
SCAM THEY CHARGE IN FRE PLAN
Scammers. I used the freeplan and then I realized I was being charged 8 usd for a reason of "storage and snapshots" of my machine. Now they are called DIGITAL OCEAN, with direct email Victor Gómez vgomez digitalocean.com.
Great service, fast machines
The service is great, the virtual computers are fast.
I had an issue with billing but the customer service was really friendly and solved my issue super fast.
Bunch of scamsters
Bunch of scamsters. They give you credits for bringing people into their platform and then change the rules so that your credits expire without giving any notifications . Fraud at its peak
Never again
Will never do business with paperspace again, and recommend you to run away while you can. They lack transparency and do not honor conditions for the use of their service that they previously agreed to. They create every obstacle to make spending credits you have purchased more difficult. The customer service don't answer you or sends you around in circles. You cannot create the machine you want without asking for approval, which takes exceedingly long (various days, longer than the time that is indicated). The customer service quality degraded considerably after the acquisition by DigitalOcean. Would not recommend to anyone.
They Charge you for creating an account…
They Charge you for creating an account, and then you cant even create the machine you want without waiting for them to approve your account. Clown company.
DigitalOcean charges me for my free account!
Since DigitalOcean acquired Paperspace they just started charging me for my free account, and I cannot stop the payments because the system requires me to log into DigitalOcean where I don't have an account. It is a pretty INSANE practice to charge people for products they didn't sign up for!
Attention
Attention, as I also write, there are many hidden costs! They charge you for machines even though they are not being used! Actually a great idea, but the implementation sucks! Shame on you. So ripping off customers. And then don't even answer. Bad!
Fraud Company
I wounder why no review mentioned that paper space over charge the credit card. I am a pro subscriber with 8 USD and suddenly I get a bill with 68 USD (I didn't even log on and my consumption is zero. I contacted their customer service and I got a stupid reply that oh you didn't pay 68 USD invoice and no explanation. It seems paper space is a fraud company. People need to take legal actions against them .. Be careful never to use them.
I luckily used a credit card with small money limit for such occasions.
terrible support, thieves
They billed me every month for a year due to a "machine" that was offline and unused for months. Of course the invoice emails are turned off by default, so they can bill you stealthily until you notice it.
Customer support is basically equivalent to them giving me the finger. They just want to squeeze as much money from customers as possible.
Horrible service and customer support I…
Horrible service and customer support I would strongly recommend against using this service. The outages are random but frequent. The handling of billing and invoicing is absolutely inadequate for any professional service and the support is good enough only to say that they are sorry there is nothing they can do.
