The entire experience has been faultless and all the staff and medical team have been friendly and professional always taking the time to listen and respond to my questions or concerns.
I had my lens replacement surgery yesterday and was a bit nervous beforehand and again all of the staff put my mind at rest.
The procedure itself was entirely painless , slightly surreal with the colour of the lights.
Afterwards a slight dull headache and today at my 24 hr consultation my eyesight was a line better that 20/20
Amazing experience and my eyesight is still improving and sharpening up.
If anyone is unsure about having this procedure carried out or is concerned about the surgery being painful there is no need based on my experience.

Fantastic appointment, very friendly welcome! Laila completed my pre assessment test which were thorough and she explained everything as we progressed. I had a very detailed eye examination with Amanda who again explained all the steps to the process. Finally I met with Dimple who walked me through the surgery process, explained all the costs and options available to me.

I would recommend the team at optical express uk to anyone. I personally cannot wait to have the freedom to be glasses free!!

Had a great experience with the team in Nottingham, from start to finish it was really good. Was recommended to Optical Express from a close friend and his story helped me take the plunge. Definitely a costly experience but if you can afford it you should do it. My sight has been diminishing as I've aged and this has really changed my life so far, early days but I've had no pain and have been looked after very well and can't be happier with the service. Great team, great result, made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the start.

From my first consultation 21st of May greeted with coffee and biscuits They mean the business with a very thorough eye examination every thing explained in detail. Got a phone call on the 1st of June from the clinician any questions answered Surgery date set for 10th of June 9.30am same again every Thursday everything explained in great detail. The day of the surgery came I was a bit nervous but they soon have you at ease less than thirty minutes later both eyes done yes it's that quick.I would say 1 hour and fourty five minutes later every thing checked back in the taxi on my way home The rest of the day both eyes covered with clear shields I could tell then the difference The next morning wow vision almost perfect for better by the hour appointment at Manchester One for a check up 20/20 vision well above driving standards. All I can say is the staff at Bridgewater wellness clinic the surgeon are top notch and Manchester One especially Suzanne excellent coffee every time and so polite the service you get is the best from start to finish Thank you all so much.

we collected our glasses from the st enoch centre today and service was great. Really like coming to this store they accomodate all my needs down to repairs and my eye tests.

Just finished Eye Laser treatment in the Belfast clinic. From the moment we walked in everyone looked after me we so well. From the receptionists to the nurses and surgeon everyone was so friendly and professional. Stacey was amazing settling my nerves before the procedure! Highly recommend Optical Express Belfast.
I am less than 24 hours after the procedure and my vision is back!

At clinic today for a check. Was seen initially by Owen for scans. Such a lovely professional, polite and friendly young man. Waiting to see Ross the ophthalmologist who i have seen a few times. He also gets 5 stars ⭐️.

I asked them to cancel my appointment which was five days before and they didn't and took £50 from me, now they are saying it wasn't five days before even though the lady from there told me it was. They are not to be trusted, keep away

Had an amazing experience at Optical Express Cardiff I had lens replacement in both eyes I felt confident from the first consultation All staff were professional and informative I would like to mention in particular both Christian and Roger who both explained what was going to happen at each stage of scans and vision tests They put me at ease and we had a a laugh and joke which I found very reassuring

The St Albans team were so welcoming made me feel so comfortable in choosing my options. Sue was brilliant and explained the scans and made them enjoyable with her bright personality.
Monishaa thoroughly explained my options and answered all my questions. Great team! Looking forward to having my surgery!

I have lost count of the number of times I have been here. Lens replacement in May 2025 and it is now June 2026. Always long waits. 2 hours standing in a waiting room the day after surgery is not acceptable. Have had lens replacement, laser to correct it and YAG treatment and still can’t see properly. Cost over £7k and still need glasses at certain times. Really think long and hard before wasting your money.

Sue and Monishaa were fantastic. We was made to feel welcome as soon as we enter the room by Sue who also explained the payments perfectly for us at the end. Monishaa was exceptional at explaining everything to us. She didn't overload us but made sure we understood everything.
Overall I would highly recommend 👌
