I had an active OpenRent account with a live listing and subscription running, which I later upgraded to the £99 package. A couple of days later, I found I could no longer log in, the site prompted me to create a new account instead. I contacted support on 21 July asking for an explanation and received only an automated acknowledgment. I've followed up multiple times since, both by email and through the "Need Help?" contact form on the site, with no substantive response.

In the meantime, I created a new account with a different email address and paid for another subscription to keep advertising. This account was also removed within a few hours, again with no explanation.

To date, I still don't know why either account was removed, or whether the subscriptions I've paid for will be refunded. I'd appreciate this being looked into properly, and a clear explanation given. Happy to provide account details and correspondence to help resolve this.

Being a private landlord is so much easier with Openrent. Saves time and expenses and the service is professional.

Enquired and used the website prompt to pay a holding deposit on property advertised - messaged back by landlord saying deposit returned as he doesn't process applications through the website - how on earth are you meant to apply then !! No option to speak to a human being at open rent either - a very mis leading , time wasting and frustrating process that I will never use again!

Goodness forbid if you actually need some help. Terrible customer service… the age old saying… pay peanuts….

Excellent 'one stop shop' for managing my rental properties and the landlord responsibilites that go with it. The website needs work - sonetimes difficult to find what I'm looking for! (When I click on "Messages" they aren't there - so I end up going back to the email and clicking on the link so I can read / respond to it)

I took a flat which was said as furnished but while moving in moft of the furniture were missing. Moreover it lacked safety certificates too. Currently, i am going on with a dispute. Highly dont recommend this platform. There is no much help and suppport provided to tenants.

OpenRent does nothing when it comes to sorting problems with their subcontractors.

I have contacted their number of times , and they did not attempt to try help even though I used their website to chat with subcontractor.

You get what you pay for, so I will stick with local estate agents that offer a high quality service.

Open rent is user friendly
The service is seemless, from the posting of the advert, to screening and finding tenants in less than a week, arranging the the referencing and deposit , signing the contract to the check in date. Everything was smooth. Open rent responded quickly to my and tenants queries. I recommend using Open Rent
