£100 charge for 3 minutes while dropping off the kids. The letter reached me more than 14 days after the alledged incident but none of this matters to One Parking Solution.

Never seen such degree of Incompetency

Never seen such degree of Incompetency, arrogance, deception, greed...etc. No way of purchasing a parking permit or an e-permit, land owner clear advise is there are no parking restrictions in the area I live and YET! Those @#>$%£ are issuing a £100 parking charge on Saturday night (22:45) in a rural area on the South Coast.

Do not shop at Carters Brighton/One Parking Solution

I pulled up at Carters Domestic Appliances, Preston Road in Brighton, spent two minutes and three seconds reading the parking terms and conditions and have now been charged £100 by One Parking Solution with an unsuccessful appeal.

Avoid the parking company and avoid the local business that employs them (Carters) would be my advice.

Rip-off artists.

Had a valid permit from the location I parked, which I placed on the dashboard. The ticket attendant issued a ticket and submitted images where the permit wasn't visible.
Contested with the company and IAS. Both claim it is not the ticket attendants job to locate the permit (arguably their only job).
Many people who use the car park have been issued similar questionable tickets.
Predatory parking solutions, absolute joke. SCUM!

Parked in what used to be a free…Got fined £100

Parked in what used to be a free parking quick stop pull in bay purposely created for people to use the Tesco Cashpoint in Ashby Fields, and now ONE PARKING SOLUTION want to charge me £100 for 59 seconds whilst I got some cash out for my son.

The signs are ridiculously high up, about 10 12 feet up alsmots level with tescos overhanging shelter over the ATM so you cant see when parked and rushing to the cashpoint. And I didn't see the sign approaching the what used to be free bay because the sun was too bright and I had both sun visors down, so not only did I not look up at the sun, the visors would block my view of the sign before I even parked up. After parking and on the way back, the sign is too high up to casually see.

It's almost as it has been positioned to catch ANY LOCAL PERSON OUT who remembers it used to be free to stop in the Pull In Bay.

And there are no legally accepted markings on the road to show ANY restriction at all, no lines of any description.

Will not be shoppingat this Boots, or Tescos or Trawlers fish and chip shop anymore. Complete rip off - will be sending my notice and pictures I went back and took today of the poor signage to BBC ROB programme.

Llangrannog August 2024…

We visited Llangrannog in August 2024 and parked in the beach car park run by One Parking Solution. We were not aware of the10 minute rule. If you have not paid within 10 minutes you will get an excess charge of £60/£100. We were slow paying because the car park was busy and we had to wait for a suitable spot. We knew nothing of the 10 minute rule until we paid and saw a notice on the machine. It is on the terms and conditions notices placed around the car park but you will only find the 10 minute rule in small print near the bottom. It took us 12 minutes to pay but we left in less than half the time that we had paid for (including the 12 minutes). We received the charge even though they did not lose any revenue, in fact they would get additional revenue when our spot became free. We appealed but, the rejection came back so quickly, I doubt anyone actually looked at it and the rejection was system generated. A disreputable organisation of the first degree!

Given a licence to print money, criminal.

Just reading the reviews on here. Absolutely unbelievable that a so called socialist Government could allow companies like this to operate. Even the Stasi in the former East Germany wernt this nasty.

I parked in a local road as I have done for years. What I hadnt noticed was that the parking had been taken over by these guys. The sign was half way up a lamppost. Little chance of contesting it so £60 for 6 minutes.
How do public roads come to be called private land managed by this lot. Hopefully we will see dramatic changes to their operations under this Labour government. If not they are both as bad as each other.

Money Grabbing Parking Crooks in Crossways!!!

My daughter picked me up from Crossways, besides Costa Coffee, for minutes as I was putting a heavy object in to the boot of her car. I received a ticket for £100 and appealed. They rejected this saying it was obvious that we should have paid for parking and parked the car in a bay. I was in Costa and my daughter was doing me a favour - for minutes.
I am now attempting to appeal using the ISA website but this is another 'con'! I have attempted to log in, create a new account and the password they gave me is not accepting it and keeps locking me out of the system. Also, in order to appeal you have to pay £60!
Who are these crooks and what is Dartford Council doing about it - nothing!!!!
I feel sorry for Costa who will be losing lots of valuable customers due to these money grabbing crooks.

Disgusting... received ticket for overstayed

Received ticket for overstayed however we went to the car park 2 days in a row. They sent us ticket that we left our car overnight without any evidence. They send 2 pictures with in and out next day without any pictures evidence shown even 1hr later proof. We send appeal and ask them to send us more pictures as we went 2 days in a row for shopping.Apeal was rejected and evidence has not been sent to us to show if the car was longer that 10min on each of those days. Disgusting! The government should close this kind of private parking as they charge people without any reason. You should send at least proof of overstayed not pick up random days with 2 different days we in and out as this is 2 different shopping!!!Check more carefully cameras when car went in and out from car park! You should found better way how to make money!

Most expensive car park ever!

Parked for total of 6 mins, 20s whilst trying to find out how to pay by phone or card. Gave up and left only to then be hit with a £100 penalty. So a total of £3.80 per second in charges! Ridiculous approach. I won't be going anywhere near that location ever again which is a shame for the local businesses.

A carpark not to be trusted!

I parked at this car park on the 5/7/2024 for two hours with my girlfriend. I paid and got a ticket that I placed on the screen, but unfortunately did not keep the ticket because why should I after all it safe isn't it?
I was shocked to be informed by Europcar that I had a parking ticket from the Llangranog car park.
With no way to prove that I had paid for parking I am forced to pay £100.00.
I would strongly advise anyone to take a receipt and keep it as proof of payment.
After reading the reviews of this parking system it is clear to me that something is not right here and should be investigated by the local council.
I can assure you that this will not happen again, as it appears that the Llangranog car park system can not be trusted.

Private parking companies need to be stopped😡😡😡😡😡😡

This private parking company need closing down. They are behaving much the same as the illegal wheel champers that were operating a while back.
I have had 5 parking invoices from them due to unclear signage and entrapment. It is also worth mentioning that I haven't paid a penny, and have no intention of doing so!!
They refuse all appeals even if it is their fault, which it is all of the time.
They are a part of the BPA, however they don't follow their code of conduct as they are supposed to.
These private parking companies behave in a manner that is above the law.
The CEO of this company has his own helicopter and is turning over millions every year.
This company has also gone under 5 different name changes, and they will probably change their name again soon.
If you take this limited company to court, make sure you put the name of the CEO on your claim so that if he does change the name of his company, you can still continue.
DO NOT PAY THEM A PENNY!!!
You can only get a black mark against your name if they have taken you to court and you've lost. You can also request that the hearing is held within your local area.
Knowing how these cowboys operate, you will win in court. Just make sure you have as much evidence as possible.
If you have access to a local Facebook page, it's well worth posting about your experience. You will then almost certainly get many people responding who have had a similar experience to you.
Myself and 2 others from my local area have set up a group which is growing quite large, to fight these cowboys. We have also come together with our local MP and Councillor who are absolutely brilliant and fully support us 100% of the way.
This really needs to be discussed in Parliament and the BPA need to be regulating private parking companies much more closely.
DO NOT BE THREATENED OR INTIMIDATED BY THEM and make sure you report them to your local Trading Standards. If you are told to report them through Citizen's Advice Bureau, insist that you speak directly to TS.
I hope this helps x

I found this company unbelievably rude

I found this company unbelievably rude. I parked a company van, delivering surplus food from the charity I work for, to another charity. I displayed the council parking permit. I was issued a parking ticket from the time of my arrival till I left. The time shown was the time it took to unload and load the crates of food. I appealed the parking fine. I received a generic reply, which did not address my appeal at all. It advised me to appeal through POPLA. I tried that, entering the reference number. POPLA site did not recognise it. I will pay the fine, as by proxy I am faced with no other option. I am reporting this company to consumer services.

Total scam

Total scam! I was fined £175 for not having a permit for parking at a tesco express for 5 minutes. This so called car park is part of a tesco express car park and is intentionally trying to catch people out! They are also using a debt agency called ZZPS, who are disgusting and rude. Don't know any information and threaten to take me to court if I do not pay.

Got a fine but not my vehicle reg. no. they cannot even read

I have read pages of the reviews but mine is really good, as I got a parking fine and it was not even my vehicle they pictured. Read the reg. no. incorrectly, but still sent the fine to me. Spoke to the enforcement agent and they looked at the picture and agreed it was incorrect. Asking Oneparkingsolution for compensation now for anxiety and stress caused. Let's see what happens!!
