Great price, quick start & print time - very good value especially with Duplex and Network included. Having moved from an expensive ink jet we were impressed by the improved quality of the print.

I bought the OKI C650 and its a great printer, this is the second machine that I have bought from them, they are so polite on the phone, talked me through how to install it with downloading the correct drivers, nothing is to much bother we discussed which printer would be suitable for me before I decided on this one. I rate this company a 5A*****

OKI -- Forget it.

What terrible service from this company. Received a faulty image drum so had to ring them direct because they like to handle all the returns. Still waiting for an email from them to "escalate" my problem so in the meantime i'm using an Epson printer that's over 6 years old but is lasting longer than my OKI c650!!
You can't get hold of them either until 9am !!

This printer is simply the worst…

This printer is simply the worst printer I ever had
Does not connect to laptop half the time and when it dies it stops shortly after and prints copies 2-3 times although you clicked on one copy
So annoying and you have to stand there otherwise you might end up with hundreds of sheets printed you never wanted

Where to start

Where to start, honestly if i could give 0/5 stars i would.

A while ago i was trying to access our OKI printers address book from the printers web page. I am generally quite good with technology, so thought this should be relatively straightforward. I was wrong.
After struggling for a while trying to find this i decided to google where this might be located. As far as i can tell, this should be under "list" but when we click list, it still doesn't show even if we are logged in as the admin user for the printers web page.

The next step was to call OKI support for something i assume should be very straight forward. After calling the first time, i managed to speak to the first person, We'll call them Lesley (Not their real name). I told lesley my address book access problems, and she said she would email me with a screenshot of what i should see.

After waiting an hour for an email to come through i decided to call back, this time i was on hold for 50 minutes despite being number one in the call queue.
Luckily lesley was on hand to take my call again, where she informed me she had lost our information and contact details so couldn't send anything through. Mistakes happen. This time we decided it would be best if i emailed screenshots of what i can see when signed into the printers webpage.
I sent this through to Lesley as she told me i needed to hang up on her. Her reason - she had other tickets to deal with and her calls were starting to build up.
Somewhat concerned, i felt the need to ask who was dealing with my ticket. Reassuringly lesley said she was.

Later Lesley emailed a link to download a configuration tool from their website (i had already tried this and it had failed, but thought it would be best to follow the instructions to make sure i had not missed something).

I rang lesley and informed her of the error when running the configuration tool, (This time only on hold for 40 minutes) where she preceded to tell me that the tool was not compatible with our printer, and told me I should not be using it. Lesley did email me the configuration tool so we asked why she was emailing us a configuration tool that was not compatible with our printer (For context she has our serial number and make and model of the printer).

Lesley was not a fan of this line of questioning and told us she needed to leave the call to work on other tickets... Understandable we are all busy people. Don’t worry about my ticket.

The following day we sent a follow up to check on our tickets progress, (If you do not keep in touch with OKI every 2 days they will consider your ticket closed).

I called the mainline support number and lesley was on hand again to take my call. She asked for a ticket number and informed me that my part would be on its way. A little bit confused i asked if she had us confused with another ticket, as all i am trying to do is edit the address list remotely(we are not on site with the printer).

Lesley now aware of our pending case again, proceeds to start shouting down the phone that we have had the audacity to ask for an update on our ticket. It's not often i've had to ask someone who works in customer service to "Please stop shouting at me." Especially as I know what its like to work in customer service.

Lesley calming down now, said she was waiting on a response from her supervisor, i suggested maybe it would be best if we speak with the supervisor directly if this would speed things up or even if we could just email them directly, it could take the work load off Lesley.

Lesley says that this was not possible, as she was already helping me. I am at a stage where I am begging Lesley to not shout and me and pleading to speak with anyone else. No matter what time of day I ring up. It is always Lesley, waiting. I am not allowed to speak to any other team member.

Does Lesley want to help me? Maybe
Can she? No
Is she trying her best? Also No.
We are just waiting for the supervisor with the answers to come back to us.

We remain hopeful.
If anyone reads this and has any insight as to how to access OKIs address book via the web UI, we would be for ever grateful.

I have owned my brand new OKI 8432 for 10 months now. We tried to print unsuccessfully for a while seeking support from the company we bought it from they realised it wasn't us and there was issues with the printer.
In November 2021 they sent an engineer who replaced some parts which improved things but still there was problems.
I have been promised that parts will be sent every week sinse and now February 8th still no parts have arrived.
I have phoned repeatedly asking what's going on and keep being promised a phone call back about after my request for a replacement printer sinse this one has so much issues but no phone call no parts and no printer.
Avoid at all costs I paid a lot of money for a brand new printer I have yet to be able to use.
Shocking customer service

Definitely the worst company to deal…

Definitely the worst company to deal with regarding printing,

Even as a business account, the support we have received as been nothing but awful.

Ranging from having our primary copier being down for 3 months due to our calls & emails being ignored, and no reply due to OKI not knowing who the tech is in the area.

0/5 Stars..

Bought printer thinking I’m buying from oki themselves but ended up buying from sapeena ltd who are trading as oki direct. Which can fool you into buying from these muppets. Within four days printer faulty and woman very rudely said it’s second hand now so we can’t exchange it. After fighting with them for a week getting no where asked my bank to step in. Within days get an email asking to have printer ready for collection. PLEASE AVOID SAPEENA LTD T/A OKI DIRECT IN ESSEX.

If i could give 0 stars i would

If i could give 0 stars i would, i have had the worst customer service experience calling OKI to resolve a printer issue, they take no responsibility for their faults, customers pay for 3 year warranties and use their products for years then when a machine has an issue they cant even send people on site or pass through numerous phonelines of 1st line support, all of whom seem to not commincate. As a result we have an issue where a machine has not been fit for purpose for 4 months yet OKI have not managed to organise to send someone to site or even email the basic details for 2nd line support. Then when we get called to speak to 2nd line support they hang up before we get through. Shoddy is an understatement.

NO RESPONSE / COMPLETELY IGNORED

To receive replacement cartridges for faulty ones you have to get in touch with OKI directly now, it seems. For two weeks now I have been trying to get just a response but haven't. Completely ignored. This is the worst customer experience I have had in my life.

I have purchased an expensive network…

I have purchased an expensive network printer and scanner MC562W. 2017.
From the moment go its been a problem. The company service is crap, and unhelpful and the equipment is not fit for purpose.

We have HP kit thats 20 year old and still going strong, the Oki printer is all but defunct. The scanner wont work, the software is fundamentally flawed and beyond difficult to use.
Give this appalling company a very, very wide birth.

If you want diabolical customer service …

If you want diabolical customer service and questionable answers then OKI is the place to go! Recently replaced my C511dn and decided to finish off the expensive toner cartridges I had from the previous C511 dn. That was the start of problems. No instructions to indicate not to replace starter cartridges which I had done successfully before. Emailed customerr service and got stock reply will get back to you. They diidn't. Phoned them gave all details and then waited half an hour on phone with no reply. Next call asked for level 2 support - as advised by OKI Direct and again gave all details and waited some 20 minutes before they hung up on me. Only after a stinking Email did I eventually get a response and even then they didn't event read them properly! Have used their printers for over a decade but never, never again. As a small business we rely on good customer service from manufacturers and suppliers but in the case of OKI this was some of the worst support I have ever encountered.

Reply from OKI Direct

This complaint is against the manufacturer Oki Systems and not the reseller Oki Direct. the order was placed with us and when the problem arose after the starter toners did not work , we directed the complaint to the right manager within Oki systems to resolve the problem.

As a reseller we did what the customer requested of us. I understand the problem was eventually resolved as in 99% of the case the starter toners are used before new or different toners are used. which caused the problem.

I am sorry the customer had to go through the technical support process with Oki systems the manufacturer .

Thanks

This is a joke without the laughs.

This is a joke without the laughs.

We bought an OKI c531dn printer in September 16. Used one for 15 months previously, had some cartridges left and we do print quite a lot - so why not just replace it.
The problems started in April 17.
It needed a new belt, a tray, a new everything.
We paid over £400 for all the parts to get everything up and running.
The printer itself is around two hundred quid! If the problems didn't come one after another a week apart, we could have bought another printer easily.

And the funny part:

About two weeks ago, an error message (error 980) appeared.
It took me 30 minutes to find out what it meant. They are not answering the calls, keep you waiting, etc.
I ordered a new fuser (apparently the problematic part).
2 days later, the same error message came up.

So I called back - they sent an engineer who found the problem was with the main board.
It got fixed, but none of the parts that were ordered are returnable, refundable and "there is nothing they can do".
The supplier is obviously not going to accept a return for an item that has been opened, they "cannot do anything about any of the items, sorry" - and I have spent roughly £600 on a printer worth £200.
Should I mention that because of the weekend need for the printer I bought another one for £400?

These amateurs cost us over a grand and their attitude is "Suck it, loser, nothing you can do".

Never in my life will I buy any of their products and I encourage you to avoid them as well.

Good service, fast delivery but could do with accurate order status and parcel tracking facility.

I placed the order online – no problem. Emails advising acceptance and payment – good. However, the status of the order as shown in my account showed 'processing' even after the item had been delivered! Knowing (roughly) when a deliveryu is due to be made is important to me so I was a little disappointed to find there is no parcel tracking facility ... indeed, as the order was still being shown as 'processing' on the day the package was due, I had doubts that the parcel had, in fact, been posted the day before, which meant I had to stay in on the off chance that the parcel would be delivered when it should have been.
