Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish! I saw the car online and Mark couldn’t have been more helpful, he offered to bring it straight to my home so I could view and test drive it, and he was nothing but friendly, informative and honest. Messaging was always quick and replies came instantly. A few days after getting the car, the battery went and Mark didn’t hesitate at all. He offered to sort it and pay for everything straight away. He picked up the car first thing, made the repairs, and dropped the car back to me the following morning, keeping me informed throughout! I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to buy a car!

Anybody looking for the best deals on second hand cars this is the best place to start, the customer service is second to none,I met up with mike and gave him an idea on what I was looking for and how much I had to spend and within less than a week he's got three cars for me to pick from and that's impressive then put mike's friendly nature and he is really easy to work with and he keeps you well informed and updated throughout the whole process, I will be a repeat customer without a doubt.

The director, Mark Barclay, has historical convictions and prison sentences for motor trade fraud in the Swindon area, alongside multiple outstanding CCJs for owing money to customers in the past, during 2025 as well as recent county court judgments made this year in 2026.

We purchased a vehicle from this dealership in March. Initially, the service was excellent: quick responses, a smooth sales process, and prompt delivery. Unfortunately, everything changed once the first problem with the vehicle arose.

When we reported the issue, it took days of repeated phone calls and messages to arrange collection of the vehicle. Eventually, it was collected and replaced with a courtesy car.
However, we later discovered that the courtesy vehicle had no valid MOT, tax, or insurance. We only found this by checking online ourselves. Customers should be aware that, had we been stopped by the police, we could have faced the consequences despite being unaware of the situation.

Our vehicle was away for over a week, during which time we had to pay for a hire car ourselves. When the vehicle was eventually returned, the same fault—a faulty gearbox—reappeared, suggesting that no effective or lasting repair had been carried out.

We reported the recurring fault almost two weeks ago and are still waiting for a collection date from Mark.

Communication throughout this process has been extremely poor.

Following advice from Citizens Advice, we understand that if a repair attempt fails and the same fault reoccurs, consumers may have the right to reject the vehicle and seek a refund. We requested this resolution, but Mark refused without providing any explanation.

Dealing with Mark has been incredibly frustrating. Communication has been difficult throughout, and he even blocked my partner's number, preventing her from contacting him to discuss a resolution.

The vehicle was sold with a six-month warranty, but our experience has been one of delays, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. We have spent months trying to resolve an issue that should have been dealt with properly from the outset.

It's a real shame, as the experience started so positively. Unfortunately, the after-sales service has been deeply disappointing, and based on our experience, we would not recommend this dealership.

Buyers beware.

At first, all appeared well. Brought a Ford Mondeo for £5595 in September 2025 and drove really well. A month in, the gearbox gave up on me, contacted Mark and he took the car back and fixed. 2 weeks later the turbo then had an issue, mark fixed again and then January 2026, the gearbox that had been replaced broke again. Mark took the car back but midway through March I still had no car and Mark would not pay the money back but offered me cash and older car with nearly double the mileage on it and I would have been out of pocket.

Decided to take further action against National Vehicle Supplier through small claims court and now enforced a CCJ as Mark did not respond to any letters.

Although Mark & NVS appear helpful, and granted, initially he was very helpful, multiple false promises and no urgency.

I would avoid like the plague!!

I recently brought a car from mark, it was for my mum, the car was delivered by mark, he arrived on time and all was as shown in the add, he walked us around the car and showed us everything was in working order and was happy for my mechanic to have a look.
Iv had the car about a month now and had no issues what so ever but he did offer me a warranty with the car for peace of mind.
Lovely man was happy to answer all our questions

Used this company for the first time..and would definitely use again..everything was straight forward..brought the car to my house (foc) and even went out of his way to put some diesal in it..so definitely 10 /10 al round..ps the car looks like new

The car pictures have absolutely no damage at all, drove over 120 miles to a car that wasn’t clean, had rubbish in the back and had significant damage to the front, the photo of the car online must either be edited or false, before I left mark said on the phone it was a lovely car with nothing wrong with it!

My experience with Mark at NVS was excellent and I honestly cannot praise him highly enough. He went out of his way many times to provide me with great service, including personal delivery out-of-hours, and at all times was friendly, personable and kind.

I bought a lovely car from him that was in great condition, but it developed a serious fault within the warranty period and it was unfortunately written off. Even though it was not directly Mark’s fault, he offered to find me a replacement and provided a great courtesy car while he was looking to help me with getting to work, appointments etc. Then, after a couple of weeks without finding a car to meet my specifications, Mark happily provided an immediate refund.

Overall I received great customer service and would recommend NVS to anyone looking to purchase a car.
