Great teachers…

I really like all the teachers especially Chloe and Michelle. They're very friendly and patient.
The front of house staff are always polite and nice, too.
Sadly it's not easy to get in as a lot of people cancel a few hours before which makes it impossible to arrive on time.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. The staff were caring and very supportive throughout they couldn’t do enough for the patients.
The consultant Mr Caesar was superb explained everything and checked at regular intervals during the double cataract procedure that I was fine.

Consultant, nurses, staff all great. Hospital, treatment, room great.
Operation successful. Thanks.
One issue: discharged too soon. Extreme pain & resulting limited physio meant one overnight stay was not quite enough. My wife said I looked terrible 😜

Angela

Angela, the Aqua teacher at Nuffield Norbury, is absolutely fantastic. She has such a lovely, warm nature and makes everyone feel welcome. She takes the time to talk to all the ladies in the class and communicates clearly, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Angela has great charisma and pays close attention to everyone in the pool, making sure we're exercising and not missing your moves and using the correct techniques. Every week she brings something different to the class, keeping the sessions enjoyable, varied, and motivating.
She also takes people's health needs into consideration, adapting exercises where needed so everyone can participate with confidence. On top of that, she has a great taste in music, which makes every class even more fun and energetic.
I always look forward to Angela's classes and would highly recommend them to anyone. Norbury

I have recently had a knee replacement…

I have recently had a knee replacement at the Nuffield in Leamington. It is the best hospital experience that I have ever had.
The outpatient department is clean and comfortable and all the staff that I met there were efficient and pleasant. From the moment I arrived on the ward until I left 28 hours later everyone I encountered treated me with kindness, respect and patience. All my needs were met, nothing was too much trouble.
The pharmacist and physiotherapist were very pleasant and they made sure that I understood the instructions that they gave to me.
It doesn't seem right to single anyone out for a special mention but the first night following surgery can be difficult, Claire and Vanessa did everything that they could to help me get through it. The care that they gave to me was excellent.

Nuffield Warwick

As a regular visitor over the past 8 years to Nuffield Warwick, the oncology care delivered continues to be caring, professional and efficient.
The hospital has definitely become busier and this is causing regular issues with the parking provision which requires addressing. Having two dedicated spaces for the Milverton Suite patients is useful and appreciated, however more often than not these are in use when I visit. Lastly, the absence of air conditioning in the cancer ward / treatment rooms is below expectations for a private hospital.

BARRE-FIT and LES MILLS PILATES with ADE

BARRE-FIT and LES MILLS PILATES at the Norbury gym with Ade on a Monday get my week off to a great start. I love the way Ade teaches, she ensures that everyone is doing different poses correctly, she is serious, high energy and funny. I love these classes.

Partial knee replacement

All nursing staff were attentive and helpful,nothing was to much trouble.
Physio staff also very helpful as was the documentation of the exercises to be done daily on discharge.
Also the organised “post op “ physio at the gym was very helpful and showed me what exercises and machines I should use at my gym to help with my knee recovery.
Only one issue was the IPC device to reduce the risk of DVT on the first night was very noisy not enabling much sleep .The night staff tried everything to quieten it even covering up but to no avail.

Nobody answers the phone. I’ve rang three different times today and over 10 minutes waiting each time yet no one answers, why?

All the staff were really freindly and…

All the staff were really freindly and helpful. I unfortunatly caused them more work but, that was greeted with a smile and a reassuring "no problem, that's what we're here for". Food was really nice although not all the options were on the menu. Once I found out a full English was available, I was set.

Completing the JPP

Completing the JPP was really good. I learned so much through our topic discussions. The physical training was enjoyable and came away with many different exercises that I’ve added to my daily exercises. The trainer was very professional and made the training really enjoyable.
