Pricing products in Indonesian Rupiah
6 weeks after I make payment, I receive a letter from the Tax department asking for my personal detials including tax number. Half a day spent going to the Post office, which has to the central one not the ones close by, I find out that this order was from Germany and in order to receive my goods, it will cost me more than the goods are worth. This is Indonesian import law. How can you represent yourself as an Indonesian company without knowing the rules of importing into Indonesia. Now I have to go back to the post office to cancel the package, and then I will get a refund. Which could take who knows how long. And still no Christmas present for my wife. Talk about unethical, talk about tricking your customers and talk about a waste of time. Imagine shipping goods halfway around the world and not knowing the conditions of the country that your website is setup for?
Edit: Having got Ninelife to agree to pay for the import duties, I paid for these taxes and sent reciept of payment, it took 5 emails to get them to agree to send the payment, they stated 3 working days to receive the refund, I then checked 2 weeks later and nothing had come in, I had to email them again and finally the refund me the amount. The time and effort spent on this order was ridiculous, it was such a bad experience
