Even with prior experience driving on the “wrong” side of the road (like in Japan), this felt like a new challenge. Very smooth process on arrival at the booth at the airport. The man behind the counter was very helpful given my mum is elderly and can't walk too far and found a car within the short term car part so we didn't have to get on the bus.
Only thing was the key fob was "low battery" which worried me a little throughout our trip but thankfully it was all ok. The car had lots of scratches on it so I took a video just to be on the safe side.

Customer service was good. Ease of pick up and drop off fine.
Vehicle was difficult to drive due to a stiff gear box and faulty electronics - reversing camera slow to disengage, Tyre pressure light stayed on even after checking. Would not hire that model (Dacia duster) again.

This car rental business model rocks!!! Reasonably priced rentals that are all inclusive of insurance, border crossing in Ireland. Easy to book and easy to return. Newway is the only way for me now to rent a car in Ireland.
