Ordered tyres online to be fitted today. Came in at my allocated time slot to be told my tyres had not been delivered and wouldn’t be till the following week (It was a technician glitch apparently).
One member of staff blamed computers and was not sorry at all. In my opinion if you can’t be certain a system works you shouldn’t be taking £100’s of pounds of customers.
Another offered to put the lowest range tyres on when we had payed for the upper range.
They told us to come in next week. Mot runs out on Monday which they were told. We also work full time hence why we booked it on a weekend.
Would not recommend going here as even the staff appear not to trust the system. To top it all off one member of staff informed us that he already knew the tyres hasn’t been delivered but didn’t bother to contact us before our time slot. Unfortunately we have missed out on a trip to the races tonight due to this, tickets had been payed for and are non refundable so we have already lost money again due to their ‘computer error’.
I’m not one to right reviews however if you want a reliable place to get your tyres fitted DO NOT go here. Disingenuous staff and very unreliable system clearly.

Booked in for 2 new tyres at the Macclesfield branch. Picked time from calendar of 10:00 - asked to come 10 minutes early. Arrived (having filled out ALL details online) then a staff member started asking me all the same questions again. Looking at a computer screen and writing down my answers (we don't have a printer!) Took another 5 or 6 minutes. Left the car and told we will ring you when ready. Wandered off but by 11:50 no phone call so walked back. Told "not done your's yet - next in line"!!!!!! Asked why and told "very busy" only 1 of the 3 ramps had cars on them! Asked to speak to the manager and told he was the manager and any complaints contact head office. Left feeling really annoyed at the waste of time and the 'couldn't care less' attitude. Never, ever use them!!! Complained online and quickly issued a refund - this was a fast, smooth operation - maybe because it is done regularly.

booked an appointment for 2 tyres, Paid £6.00 for priority appointment as this was our only option, on arrival, was told 2 hour wait, wife had to go wandering round for 2 hours, i rang after weekend and complained , offered a refund on the £6.00, which i accepted, and he apologized and hoped we wouldn't be put off visiting again. got an email stating refund would be in bank in 3 days, 10 days later rang then=m, no refund received, they asked us to wit a few days and check again,
GOODBYE NTS customer lost through sheer incompetence to keep appointment, and lack of customer service

Kevin and the team have worked on two problems with my car in December, really friendly and helpful with great service and you can tell they want the customer to drive away happy and return, which is great to see, I would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends and they will get you the best deal possible.

Booked my tyres and time slot online as advised by the centre manager. Turned up ten minutes early (0820) and was first in when they opened at 0830. My van wasn’t taken in until 0907 but other customers apparently seemed to be slotted in before my booking. Why are Halfords making customers book and pay for a time slot (appointment) and then saying it’s only a drop off time? If it’s a drop off time why am I being charged for it? Used for many years and always had good service. Won’t be using again if this is the new policy. Lads in store pleasant and no issue with them.

I booked my car in for two new tyres and tracking to be carried out. Arrived at the fitting centre in Macclesfield at correct time and told would take about one hour. As it was a nice day I waited adjacent to the centre as I had other things to do today and wanted to pick it up as soon as ready.
The tyre fitter saw me when completed the work and told me I could take the car. I queried that the tracking had not been done and was advised the machine was inoperative and would have to bring back at a later date.
I have issues relating to this.
1) Being told the car was done and nobly being advised after I asked relating to the tracking. If I had not queried it I would have driven off none the wiser.
2) If I had not waited then I would have assumed on my return that all the work had been carried out and again none the wiser and paid for something that was not provided.
I have received an electronic receipt which states tracking completed.
I paid for this work online before attending the tyre centre so currently out of pocket. Contacted This company but still waiting comment or refund.
Very poor service and response times and will certainly think twice about using this Company again

The online process was relatively straightforward. However, I had 2 Discount Codes that related to the same order and initially it rejected one of the Codes (making the purchase more expensive). I had to work out that if I changed the order of inputting the Codes, both were eventually accepted. It would've been easy to have given up!

The lads said how long it would take and the car was ready and done spot on time and the locking key was put back. Very friendly lads and in the office. What more could you ask for.

came back not started people with time later than me being seen before me.
told me and 15 other people booked same time.eventually finished at 2.10 with them saying sorry for the wait.bookings should be made without other people being allowed to book same time.
