SCAMMERS - Do not book with My Top Tour
I booked tickets for the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre Museum through My Top Tour, totalling £374.26. Not only did I never receive any tickets, but I was charged twice for the Louvre - duplicate orders taken from my account with nothing delivered.
No tickets. No proof of purchase. No way to access the attractions I paid for. These are scammers, plain and simple.
If you’ve been scammed too, here’s what you can do:
Under EU consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU), traders must deliver what you’ve paid for. If they don’t, you are entitled to a full refund. Their terms and conditions cannot override this - any clause claiming otherwise is unenforceable under mandatory EU law.
Your options:
• Chargeback - Contact your bank or card provider (I’m going through American Express) and raise a dispute immediately.
• European Consumer Centre (ECC) - File a complaint at ec[dot]europa[dot]eu/consumers/odr - this is a free EU-wide resolution service.
• National consumer protection authority - In your country, report them to your local trading standards or consumer protection body.
Don’t let them keep your money. Know your rights and pursue every avenue available to you.

We would like to clarify that the duplicate Louvre booking was not generated by My Top Tour. According to our records, two separate reservations were completed from your side, and once you contacted us, the tickets had already been managed.
Regarding the Palace of Versailles booking, the tickets were successfully issued and sent to the email address provided during the purchase process. Once tickets have been generated and sent correctly from our system, the service is considered delivered on our side.
As previously explained by our customer support team, dated cultural visits and tickets are subject to specific cancellation conditions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure or cultural services provided on a specific date or period, in accordance with Article 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding consumer regulations.
That said, we understand that the duplicate Louvre order may have been an unintentional mistake on your part. For this reason, our team offered to review whether an exceptional goodwill solution could be considered.
We do not share the accusation that we are scammers. This is a very serious statement, and our team has already responded to your case with the information available from your bookings.

This company creates a website that looks like the official Louvre website, then charges 3x the price for the ticket entry...inclusing pricing for under 18 who have free entry to the Museum.
The ticket are not issued until very close to the visit daya nd have been feedback of the tickets not being accepted at the Louvre uppon entry.

Firstly, I want to say missing a star has nothing to with Dante. Who was AMAZING. Great sense of humor and super knowledgable on our tour of Alhambra!!
My only complaint comes with the company in the very limited contact. It felt like we had leading up to the tour. We had a private tour, they emailed us the day of and a few days before, but you never actually have your tickets and you don’t know your guide.
My family is running a few minutes late and I called the office multiple times they never picked up, there was no way of knowing if our group was going to be left or if the tour was OK to start a little late. There was never any communication on how to reach the guide beforehand, only working through the company itself. This was stressful and they were only able to reach me by text 20+ minutes after my first call and after I literally ran to their branch location lol. Overall, Alhambra is amazing and Dante was amazing. But the company itself, I would’ve loved more help from or with.

I have sent numerous emails to this company; the first one was on 10th May. I informed them that I would be unable to be in Cordoba for my tour on 30th May 2026 due to a bereavement in the family. The information I was given when booking was that a partial refund would be given if cancelling more than 48 hours before the tour. I have not had any reply since (only the standard we have received your email). I expected more from a company that has such a high review score.

Pay double price -No service, no reply
Very disappointing experience with My Top Tour.
I was charged €75 even though the prices displayed on the website clearly indicated that I should have paid €34 as a resident in Sweden. My 15-year-old daughter should also have benefited from a reduced or free ticket according to their pricing policy.
I contacted the company multiple times by email to request an explanation and a refund, but I never received any reply at all. Completely ignoring customers after payment is unacceptable.
I also received the tickets in Spanish instead of the English or French version requested.
Be careful and double-check the final amount before paying. Customer service appears non-existent.

Our visit today to Alhambra was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. The entire tour was perfectly organized from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty, history, and atmosphere of this incredible place without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Every part of the experience felt smooth, professional, and thoughtfully planned.
A very special thank you goes to our tour guide, Dante, who made the experience exceptional. He was not only extremely knowledgeable and informative, but also genuinely passionate about the history and culture of the Alhambra and Granada. His explanations were clear, engaging, and full of interesting details that brought the palace, gardens, and historical stories to life in a memorable way. You could truly feel how much he loves what he does, and that passion made a huge difference throughout the tour.
Dante was also very kind, patient, and attentive to everyone in the group, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere from beginning to end. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Andalusian history and architecture. Highly recommended experience for anyone visiting Granada.

AWFUL DO NOT USE - we thought we were buying official Alhambra tickets only to find we'd bought them through this third party. Charged us 49 euros per ticket for a guided tour booking. Then cancelled the guided tour less than 24 hours before tour. The basic ticket was only 12 euros - so due a refund of 37 euros per ticket (we had two). The refund given is 12 euros in total. JUST A RIP OFF. And they do not reply to texts or emails. AVOID AVOID AVOID

This company are not to be trusted. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Their website looks official, but they sell you tickets that are invalid/incorrect. We turned up at the venue and couldn't use the tickets that this company had sold us.
Tried to ring them, their phones are not working. And then they do not respond to emails or WhatsApp messages so the problem is never sorted. I lost money with this company as I had to rebuy tickets elsewhere. DO NOT USE OR TRUST THEM. Scam artists. We were trying to visit the Cordoba cathedral. €60 completely wasted. And to make it worse the actual tickets when we had to rebuy them were HALF the price of the useless (invalid) Top Tour tickets??
For anyone reading this who was also cheated out of their money by this company. Be aware you can under Spanish Tourism law ask for a complaint form. It is mandatory for the company to give you a complaint form. There will be 3 copies, one for the company, one for you and one for the local Consumer Council. I am going to make sure the local Tourism Board are aware of the poor practices of this company as they are giving a bad image to Spanish Tourism.

Title: Misleading website mimicking official Alhambra ticket site – Refund refused within legal cooling-off period
I purchased Alhambra tickets for €79.98 on ticket.mytoptour.es (operated by MNPQ Gestores Turísticos, S.L.), believing I was on the official Patronato de la Alhambra website due to the site’s presentation and the ads through which I arrived. Within 10 minutes of payment I discovered this was a private reseller and that the official ticket price is a small fraction of what I paid — the rest being undisclosed fees.
I exercised my legal right of withdrawal within the 14-day cooling-off period mandated by Spanish consumer law (Articles 102–108 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), in writing, also citing vitiated consent (Articles 1265–1269 Civil Code) and breach of the Unfair Competition Act (Articles 5, 7 and 20 of Law 3/1991). The visit date was 06/06/2026 — no service had been rendered.
Company response: refund refused.
This is not isolated. Spain’s main consumer organisation (OCU) maintains a public complaints registry against this same company for identical conduct — mimicking the official Alhambra website, undisclosed surcharges, refund refusals within the legal withdrawal period — with cases going back to 2022. On Trustpilot, 92% of reviews of their sister site are 1-star.
initiated: (1) credit card chargeback, (2) official consumer complaint with the Andalusian Consumer Arbitration Board, (3) complaint to AESAN and CNMC (Spanish consumer and competition authorities), (4) public complaint via OCU.
Advice to Alhambra visitors: buy ONLY from tickets.alhambra-patronato.es, the official Patronato website. Everything else is a reseller with markup.

For this reason, this type of purchase cannot be cancelled under the right of withdrawal, regardless of the individual acceptance of a specific policy, as it is an exclusion established directly by law.
We respect your right to take the actions you consider appropriate, but we do not share the accusations made against our company. Calling us fake or criminal is a very serious statement.
