I've ordered DVD's from Musicmagpie from both their eBay store as well as their own website. I've never had any issues 👌 I would recommend..

Great simple service. Took a couple of attempts for Evri to collect packages.

My MacBook Pro was returned back to me from MusicMagpie with additional scratches and damage, and weeks later they still haven't returned my MagSafe cable that I sent with it.
I sent them my MacBook Pro after receiving an initial valuation of £558. Once they received it, they reduced the offer to £55.80 due to the condition they claimed it was in (a couple of tiny screen marks). I disagreed with the assessment, rejected the offer and asked for the MacBook to be returned.
When it came back, the return packaging was extremely poor. The MacBook was loose inside the box in a thin plastic bag, with the power adapter plug loose alongside it and able to move around against the laptop. The outer box was also badly dented and crushed.
The MacBook now has additional scratches and marks to the exterior which were not there when I sent it. I have photographs from before it was sent showing the exterior condition, and photographs taken after it was returned showing the new damage.
I have provided MusicMagpie with the original full-quality photos including their date/time metadata. I was then told this wasn't enough because the timestamp needed to actually be visible on the photograph itself, so I even went to the trouble of creating copies with visible timestamps exactly as requested. I am still waiting for a proper outcome.
The missing charging cable has been just as frustrating.
My white USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable was sent to MusicMagpie along with the MacBook and power adapter, but it wasn't returned.
When I first raised this, I was told that "additional items" which were not originally asked for are usually recycled because MusicMagpie has no use for them. This made absolutely no sense because I had been instructed to include the charger, and MusicMagpie's own condition requirements state that a working charger should be included. The power adapter isn't a complete working charger without the MagSafe cable. They accepted this once I showed them their own policy information.
They then later told me they had actually found my MagSafe cable and had dispatched it back to me.
When the parcel arrived, it wasn't my MagSafe cable at all. They had sent me a random USB-C to USB-C cable instead.
They have asked me to return this incorrect cable to them. I have repeatedly said I am happy to return the incorrect cable to them, but as MusicMagpie sent the wrong item to me, I have asked them to provide a prepaid postage label. Despite asking multiple times, I still haven't received one and I am also still waiting for either my actual MagSafe cable to be returned or reimbursement of the £49 replacement cost.
Throughout the complaint I have repeatedly been told to allow another 2 working days for updates, only for those deadlines to pass and for me to have to chase again.
Mistakes can happen, but this has now gone well beyond a simple mistake. I've supplied the evidence they've asked for, complied with additional requests regarding timestamps, repeatedly chased missed deadlines and am still trying to get back an accessory that I sent to them in the first place.
The complaint is still ongoing weeks later. I will happily update this review if MusicMagpie resolves everything properly, but at the moment the whole experience has been extremely disappointing and I am now stuck with a damaged laptop and missing charging cable.
The book arrived quickly and was in reasonable condition. The packaging was damaged in one corner and the book slightly too.
Very quick and easy transaction. Always kept updated on the stages and would definitely use again.

Items received on 30th July. Email confirming payment has been sent on 1st September. It’s now 11th September and still No payment has been received. Emails take days to be responsed to and wrong information given. Was told on the 8th September payment has been processed again and to Allow one working day, this has not been adhered too. No option to call and chat function turned off. Terrible service
I have no hesitation in recommending music magpie we buy a lot of old dvds and CDs all delivered satisfactorily with due care and attention. Judith

Could we have more details about the local charity that Music Magpie supports?
Simple to do and quick and kept informed throughout
Just a shame it wouldn’t process through Timmons at first
