Staff not helpful
I had booked an MOT and for my car to be dropped off at 08:30. I got there on time and handed over my keys. I had advised them I will be waiting for a taxi to drop me back off home and also asked for a phone charger. They did not have one ( my fault for not having my mobile charged) but I think all places should have chargers in case. I asked them to arrange a taxi incase my battery dies out and they were unwilling to do go. Again, my fault for not bringing my charger and for not charging my phone. They said they would call me when my car is ready. I had to contact them at 13:30 and was told my car had been ready since 09:30. Not happy

We're sorry that your visit didn't meet your expectations.
With regard to the phone charger and taxi, while we're always happy to help customers where we can but we don't keep phone chargers, arranging a taxi at the very beginning of a working day when we have a high number of customers checking in for the day would negatively impacted the service we provide to others.
Regarding the completion of your MOT, we've reviewed our records. We informed you that the MOT would take approximately one hour to complete. Our call logs also indicate that you contacted us earlier than mentioned. While your vehicle may have been ready before you called, in a busy workshop we're not always able to contact every customer immediately after a vehicle is completed, particularly when several jobs finish around the same time. We do, however, make every effort to notify customers as soon as we're able.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue looking for ways to improve our communication with customers.

I could've died...
I went to Mr Tyre to get three tyres replaced. They could only do two and and they could get the other one in for the next day which was fine. I drove away and realised my car was making an awful rumbling noise so I stopped and only drove it to the MOT the next day. The garage were very concerned when I came back for my car and they informed me that the tyre place hadn't secured my old front tyre again after taking it off. He said it could have been fatal for me and other drivers on the road... do not go here unless you want to risk your tyre flying off... and your life!

Dear Emma,
Following your review, we carried out a full investigation into the concerns you raised, as safety is our highest priority.
We have reviewed our workshop documentation together with our CCTV footage, which clearly shows your wheel being correctly refitted and the wheel nuts tightened using the correct procedure with a calibrated torque wrench before the vehicle left our premises.
Our records also show that the work was completed on 11 June, while the MOT inspection you refer to took place on 17 June, after the vehicle had covered approximately 10 miles.
Based on all of the information available to us, our investigation has not identified any evidence that your vehicle left our premises with an unsecured wheel.
Unfortunately, we are unable to publish or share CCTV footage digitally due to our obligations under data protection legislation. However, in the interests of transparency, we would be happy to arrange for you to visit the branch so that you can view the relevant footage with a member of our management team.
We take every allegation relating to vehicle safety extremely seriously. Had our investigation identified any failing in our procedures, we would have addressed it immediately. On this occasion, however, the evidence available does not support the conclusion that the wheel left our workshop unsecured.
