Excellent customer service
I am new to the country and have taken over a rental property. I sent an email to Modstrøm to get information about setting up my billing and payments for electricity. In less than a day, I received a phone call from a wonderful employee who helped me get on a contract, explained the contract fully, and walked me through the agreement. He answered all of my questions about billing and statements and automatic payments, and his level of patience and explanation was far beyond my expectations. It was a wonderful interaction and I am very grateful Modstrøm has employees that are so kind.

Unfortunately contracted to this…
Unfortunately contracted to this company until 2024. They asked for a depositum, increase the depositum in the middle of the contract due to the electricity crisis. Having now a depositum of over 28.000,00 kr.
They came up with a correction on consumption going back to February 2022 that cannot be verified.
Got a threat of closing the electricity supply if I would not pay the remaining balance lower than 700,00 kr. I tried to have them come to their senses just to get an other threat of closing the electricity supply.
Can only wish to close the contract when its over.
Who would want to deal with such company? I don't recommend.

Day light robbery
I wish I could give them 0 star. It's day light robbery. I have a contract with them for 12.5 øre. When I got the bill they charged me 130 øre per kWh. Their reason was they had mentioned in their website ( not in the contract) they have a base fee around 85 øre. They could not show me that anywhere in my contract, which only says I should pay more than 12.5 øre. They refused to do anything about that.

We are sad to read your review. I see your problem understanding the difference in the contract and your received bills.
Since we cannot legally enforce the reference price in your case, we have now credited the difference from your bills meanwhile considering your promised price point.
Therefore, you are now promised a receivable from the miscalculated bills. This amount is besides from the invoice that needs to be paid by 01-03-2023.
