Efficient Shower Repair
Really helpful and friendly customer service on the phone (setting up the repair - Tatsy) and in person (during the repair - Danny from Wakefield). Repair was completely quickly. Was able to come a day early to complete the repair.

Excellent service from Mira engineer Danny
Very pleased with the service from Mira. The appointment was well organised and I received clear updates about when the engineer would arrive.
Danny, the Mira service engineer who attended, was excellent. He arrived within the arranged time, was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He quickly identified the fault with our Mira electric shower, explained clearly what the problem was and what needed to be done, and carried out the repair efficiently.
He made sure everything was working properly before leaving and left the area clean and tidy. Excellent service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Mira and, in particular, Danny for his professionalism and excellent workmanship.

I explained to Courtney what has been happening with the shower and listening to me, he explained what the cause could be.
He then carried out a thorough examination of the shower, did tests and said he is going to change the vaulve, which he did. He carried out tests again and he also changed the hose and shower head.
I am pleased with the work done and the information he gave me.
Thank you Courtney for your patience, when the bathroom needed to be used by my elderly mother, my mother thanks you also.

Fast resolution & great customer service
Danny from Wakefield was lovely and fixed the problem with our shower very quickly. He took plenty of time to explain what the problem was and highlighted other issues relating the placement of valves close to our shower. He was extremely patient with my 3 year old little boy who was asking him lots of questions about what he way doing and why. Overall a very quick resolution and fantastic customer service.

Great customer service and easy fix
Our Mira shower stopped working and was within its warranty. But we couldn't find the receipt.
Luckily, we have them all of the shower details and they were able to track it down with no receipt.
They sent an engineer out to look at it and he fixed it straight away.
Only took about 40 mins and was completely hassle free. Big thanks to Steve R.

MIRA ARE DREADFUL, DO NOT TOUCH!
So, I am in a position where I have paid Mira for a shower to be supplied and fitted (replacement - a direct swap). I have the replacement shower sent to me and the engineer turns up to do the replacement a few days later. He states he cannot do the replacement as I do not have isolation valves fitted to the hot and cold water feeds to the shower (he is not allowed to drain the tanks). He states I need to get the isolation valves fitted by a local plumber (which is not that easy!) and I might as well get the plumber to replace the shower at the same time ... as it is a one for one swap. Good advice I thought, until I got the Mira bill!?!?! They are still charging for their fitting ... over £100, even though they haven't fitted anything! NOW THIS IS THE CRAZY PART .... Mira stated they needed me to return the shower I have to get a refund for the Supply and Fix, THEN I could buy the exact same shower as a supply only purchase and have it delivered!?!??! It is insane ... RETURN A PRODUCT TO HAVE IT REDELIVERED BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TAKE OFF THE FITTING ELEMENT OF MY INVOICE!?!?!?!? Add to this the fact that the current shower is just about to die, according to their engineer .... and I would be messing around for the next 2 weeks waiting for deliveries AND having to rebook the plumber!?!? TOTAL BONKER .... this company has lost the plot.
***In response to your reply, I agree with the long response about not being able to fit the shower .... the main issue is the having to return a product to have it sent back because you can't change an invoice! I wrote to your support team several hours ago and am waiting the obligatory 3 days for a response!?!?
** UPDATE - I've had isolation valves fitted by a local plumber, called Mira this morning to inform them they can now fit the shower (a 10 minute swap) but was told I now need to wait another week! BEWARE they are prepared to die in a ditch over their Ts&Cs and stated they will be charging me the full invoice amount if I get a local plumber to fit it .... unless I return the unit to them and then have it sent out to me again! What a waste of time, money and resources. This is so strange they cannot amend or cancel an invoice and just charge me for the unit!?!?!

To clarify, before a replacement shower can be installed, our engineers require suitable isolation valves to be fitted on the hot and cold water supplies. These valves allow the water supply to the shower to be safely isolated while work is carried out. As our engineers are not permitted to drain water tanks or make modifications to the existing plumbing system, they are unable to proceed with a replacement where isolation valves are not present. In your case, although the replacement shower was a direct like-for-like swap, the absence of isolation valves meant the installation could not be completed safely and in accordance with our installation requirements. The engineer therefore advised that a qualified local plumber would need to fit the valves before any replacement work could be undertaken. Please reach out to our Team at askus@mirashowers.com along with a copy of your review so we can investigate the alleged charges for fitting.

Very friendly, quick and efficient visit from Mira engineer James Young when my shower was dripping. Many thanks for sorting it so effectively (and rehanging the plastic baskets for shampoos etc!) Can’t fault this service.
