Many people frequently complained that customer service representatives and managers were completely unhelpful, unresponsive, and constantly failed to properly resolve ongoing vehicle problems. Consumers also noted severe mechanical failures, repeated repair issues, and disappointing build quality after purchasing their expensive cars from local dealerships. Unprofessional services

I have bought a new mecedes EQA. After few months, found the scroll (inside between bumper and the number pkate holder) is loose. Book the workshop, 30mins later telling me it has been fixed but I checked and found there is nothing been done. Then a engineer came with you then I show the loose part, wait another 30 mins come back again without fixing it. Finally, a chief engineer come with me and I show him again. They said warranty is not included and £44 will charge for the parts. 3 hours has been wasted. Unprofessional and bad experience!!!

Non-existant support from Mercedes.

I bought a new Mercedes A Class car a month ago from a UK Mercedes dealer. It is a very complex car to set up the many driver options (several of which have to be reset every time the car is started up). However one feature the car documentation (and the dealer) confirmed it had was what is called Augmented Reality which is supposed to provide a camera's view of a junction. The dealer was unable to set this up and after a few days told me that in fact the documentation was wrong and it was not available. I then tried to contact Mercedes HQ by email to check this and find out if it the appropriate chip could be changed to provide what they were advertising as a feature. After over a week I am still waiting for a response from Mercedes despite a sending a further two email chasers. Not what I expected from what I thought was a reliable and prestigious car manufacturer.

Satisfied Customer.

An absolutely first class dealership. I have always received exemplary service from all members of staff, but my two go-to people are Mike Davies (Sales) and Kieran Edwards (Technician)
I have no hesitation recommending this dealership to my family and friends.
Well done everyone.

Mobilo breakdown cover is a rip-off

Mobilo breakdown cover is a rip-off. They channel you into their overpriced dealer network to do repairs but then won't even cover the costs of a taxi to go and collect the car. Mobilo is NOT a benefit. It is a huge cost. SP22NOU was the car registration if Mercedes want to confirm this is genuine.

Mercedes-Benz can't help to open their own car if lost the key car

Title: Unacceptable – Mercedes-Benz Couldn’t Open Their Own Car!

I never expected this from a brand like Mercedes-Benz. I own a 2024 S-Class, a top-of-the-line luxury car, yet when I needed assistance unlocking it, even Mercedes-Benz themselves couldn’t open it! In a world where everything is online and remote, this is beyond frustrating.

How can a company that prides itself on innovation and technology fail at something so basic? If they can’t remotely unlock their own flagship model, what does that say about their reliability? Extremely disappointed—Mercedes-Benz needs to do better!

Mercedes Benz - Recall Issue

I received a recall letter for my vehicle about six months ago, stating that I could schedule an appointment at the nearest service center to have the issue resolved. However, when I called my nearest service center, Mercedes-Benz of Stratford, I was asked if I had previously serviced my car there. When I replied that I had previously gone to Mercedes-Benz of Lakeside, I was told that they could not assist me.

I have phone records of these conversations. If I get into an accident while driving due to this issue, I want you to know that I will take legal action. This recall is due to a fault on your part, yet you are not addressing the problem.

I had a safety recall on my Mercedes

I had a safety recall on my Mercedes. As such I had to use a main dealer rather than my preferred maintenance outlet. The company were very courteous and completely the safety recall work. When I went to collect the vehicle I found first that the handbrake would not release then the internal door handle had become detached from the opening mechanism. I had to exit the vehicle by opening the door from the outside by opening the window. I complained only to be told it was nothing to do with them and they had not touched anything! So how did they move to/from service area? They then had the audacity to say they could carry out repairs at my expense and then just walked off. I wrote a complaint to their customer service centre at Peterborough and got absolutely no response. I wrote to 1Gp the owners of Mercedes, Peterborough and got the same result. I then wrote to Mercedes HQ in UK and gort a nice reply but backing up their Peterborough dealer. The fact that these faults occurred on their premises and on their watch appears to count for nothingand I suppose two subsequent faults found concerning electronic door locking and auto-headlights has nothing to do with them either. Clearly Mercedes think they are too big to provide customer service even in the case of a reply as courtesy costs nothing.

Mercedes Benz UK & Mercedes Benz…

Mercedes Benz UK & Mercedes Benz finance. What a shower of woes. Sell me a car EQC and within 1.5months and 902miles the car develops a fault NOBODY wants to fix. 4 weeks in the dealer and still no end in sight to repairing the car yet I still HAVE TO MAKE the monthly payments or they’ve threatened me with reporting on my credit file.

Beautiful and Timeless

We own 2 Mercedes and have found them both to be both beautiful and well built. They are very complex though and require a lot of maintenance and care.

San Diego…no

I will never again use this San Diego CA dealership. For a very minor problem on my E320 that could have been fixed in five minutes, they wanted to check me in and charge me $270 for the diagnosis. That's what customers must pay for them to initiate any action.

They used to have an express bay down at the end on the right, where people with minor problems could pull in, and a couple of junior mechanics would fix things. I used that once, same basic problem as today, they fixed it in five minutes and did not charge me. That's called building good will with customers. Now it's $270 for them to even look at you. No thank you!

Dealerships ....

I have a 2007 E350. When I bought the car (privately) I took it to Syracuse Mercedes Benz to have a Recall looked at, as well as any others I was not aware of and to have any other issues the car may have fixed as well as a full service. $3000 later I got the car back and was told everything was fine with it.

A few weeks later I learnt that the car had another recall for a potentially lethal fuel pump leakage problem that let fumes into the cabin of the vehicle from beneath the back seat. Funnily enough Mercedes Benz Syracuse failed to mention that particular issue that would have cost them between $3000 and $5000 to fix so the car was safe.

Once I learn of the problem I contacted MB Syracuse about the problem and that it was the subject of an active recall at the time they had the car. All they told me was the extended recall warrenty had expired so they couldn't (read as wouldn't) do anything about it. I then contacted MB USA and they told me the same thing despite the issue being under warrenty when they had the vehicle and failed to do anything about it. When I complained about their service, they stopped responding to me, as did MB USA. They were more than happy to take my money BUT ironically were incapable (or incompetent) to find a recall they knew about. That was a few years ago.

Now, I need new wiper arms and blades for both the passenger side and driver side of the vehicle - only because I want to replace them. I emailed MB Rochester and all they wanted me to do was phone them so they could arrange for me to take the car to them. When I told them I didn't want them to do the work, that I had an independant Mercedes mechanic, they stopped responding to me.

I contacted Mercedes Manhatten with the same questions re the wiper arms etc and got some cut and paste rubbish back about some so called customized package for me with a link that didn't work and had nothing to do with my enquiry. I was eventually told to (you geussed it) phone the parts department. Again I told them I wanted them to email me the information as I want everything in writing. Haven't heard anything back other than some sales manager emailing me asking if I received all the information I needed and if there was anything else they could do. I told him that I received nothing what so ever and havent heard anything back since.

Critisize MB in the US and they ignore you and treat you with contempt. They don't deserve our money and I will never buy another Mercedes in the US as long as I remain here. They are nothing more than self serving, greedy, apathtic so and so's who seem to think that they have no obligation to their customers when it comes to being honest and providing proper customer service.

Just an addition to the farce. They finally did send me a quote for the things I was after, one thing being wiper blades. They quoted me $79 for the pair; HOWEVER, their werbsite, along with every other MB dealership I went to, had them listed at $59. So much for Rochester Mercedes Benz credibility and integrity!

Most unreliable Car I even have.

Bought a Mercedes Benz GLC 300 -2024 about 8 months ago, now there is only 2,700 Km on the odometer. Twice, I had to take it to the service center, and the second time, they towed it. Also, the bumper and body of my new car were damaged when I went to the service center on the second week of purchase. This is a BAD CAR and TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICES experience. Don’t buy it!

Mercedes Benz quality I give up on.

Mercedes Benz quality I have given up on. I have owned multiple Mercedes for years. 4 Sprinter vans, GLK, and recently a 350GLE. The 2 early Sprinters were decent vehicles then came DEF. Engine in 2015 BlueTec 4 pulled at 30K, my 2017 4x4 Sprinter 50K. This week I turned in my 2016 350 GLE for a Subaru. I've had it with the ultra-poor Benz quality over the last decade. My last good Mercedes was the 240D decades ago. Buyer beware.

Do not buy any Mercedes with Electronic…

Do not buy any Mercedes with Electronic parking brake system. It locks up frequently and you cant get it to release without running the engine to 2000 rpm. Upon release, the brake system makes a real loud noise like something just broke, which is scary. Almost all new models comes equipped with this system.
I took my E450 2021 to four different MB service departments, all they can do is say sorry, there is no fix for it. To top it off, the dealer where I purchased my car refuses to buy it back from me, others offer you a lowball figure. Escalated it to the corporate office but they are no help either.
After being a customer for 28 years and many purchases of MB, I will never buy any more MB.
