I have been a user of a Meaco Dehumidifier for almost a year, although it has suddenly stopped working due to a widely reported fault. I have been unable to locate my proof of purchase so was fine with paying for out of warranty repair - however Meaco refuse to do this. I am completely fine with paying the price to repair the item (which failed with no fault of my own, due to it being a widely known defect) but their policy means that my Dehumidifier may end up in a landfill.
Extremely disheartening, especially from a company that has claimed to be aiming for sustainability & has touted their waste-free repair shop as a sign of this.

Meaco carried out an in warranty repair of my dehumidifier due to display panel fault. Excellent support from customer service. Packaging provided and the machine returned within 4 days. A very happy customer.

MeacoDry Arete Two 12L.
Purchased this item on reading reviews and it is top recommended. Have had it running for a Day and it 100% works and has cleared my Windows of condensation which has been a problem with the cold weather. Very impressed with the set up and sits lovely in the hall and it serves all rooms.

Control panel display stopped working, contacted Meaco filled in an easy form, they sent a return label by email a return box the next day. Unit sent back Monday morning, repaired unit returned Thursday morning of same week with emails in between keeping me informed.
Fantastic service, cannot fault them on their easy, very quick, hassle free customer service and repair.

16 months after purchase my Arete 20L suddenly stopped working. I spoke with customer service who requested an email with all the details and then promptly arranged for the unit to be collected from my home. Fortunately, I had retained the original packaging so a collection was arranged very swiftly. Collected on Thursday and on the following Tuesday I received an email explaining the repair and the machine was ready to be delivered back to me the next day. As it was I had to delay the delivery due to not being home, but to turnaround a collection, repair and redelivery in under a week is excellent customer service.
I rely on this unit to dry my laundry especially in these winter months so the prompt service was really appreciated.

I have 2 of their dehumidifiers, one started malfunctioning. I contacted support, they offered repair even though the unit was just outside warranty, with free and easy return. In the end it couldn't be repaired, so they shipped a brand new replacement unit. I always recommend Meaco products to friends.

One of the main reasons I chose Meaco products are the fact they're a local UK company. They're products are also really competitive/class leading.
I started out with their older DD8L dehumidifier and although it did its job well it did so noisily and warmly.
However I was so impressed with the build quality and value I decided to upgrade to the new Arete 12L and buy a second for my kitchen. I have them both running 24/7 and having the ability to set the desired humidity level is great. The digital display is easy to use and it's quiet. The only issue is the light on the top that turns on when the tank is full - it's BLINDING at night!
When we had the 40°C summer recently I bought the Meaco Sefte air multiplier fan. It was an absolute miracle. By circulating air around the entire room it cooled you down without blowing directly on you which makes you cold.
It wasn't cheap and it isn't WiFi enabled which is a shame. The magnetic remote is perfect.
So my reason for writing this review is because my Sefte fan has started playing up. It would make the movements to circulate the air but the fan wasn't actually spinning. Another fault was the unit not working at all. All of the lights would light up every few seconds which was infuriating at night. The only way to stop it was to unplug it and wait.
I contacted customer service and they replied really quickly to my email. They have sent out a replacement unit straight away and provided me a prepaid label.
Unlike some companies Meaco trust you as a customer to return the item AFTER delivery of the replacement. That is very rare and speaks of excellent customer service.
I could have just given them 5* and mentioned the customer service. However I wanted to highlight that I have spent a lot of money with Meaco on a few products over the past 4 years and only one product has ever had an issue and Meaco sorted it immediately.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Meaco in the future because I know it would be rare for an issue to occur, even if it unfortunately did, you have an amazing three year warranty and customer service that goes above and beyond.
Buy British!

Our Meaco Arete One dehumidifier was slightly out of warranty. I contacted customer support and they were amazing. Sent out DPD label, collected, replaced several parts, cleaned and returned all within a couple of weeks. Highly recommend and would purchase from them again.

Have a Meaco ABC-12L , after Two and a bit years it wasn't dehumidifying - receipt says 3 year warranty
emailed - asked to do a quick test - that didn't fix it
two days later - new machine delivered ! NO quibble !
What more can you ask for ?
Efficient very quiet machine - easy to use, use it in a small room and it will dry a load of washing in a few hours.

I’ve had the Arete 1 6L for a few days and love it already.
The shopping experience from the Meaco Ireland website was great, ordered Sunday night and arrived on Tuesday.
The machine is easy to operate and efficiently dries our micro en-suite bathroom which becomes very steamy and is giving us a silverfish problem. I’ll return for an update on the silverfish in a few weeks.
I read a very bold claim that it would dry a load of laundry in 6hrs, that’s not the case for me with heavy winter clothes but it got to 80% dry in that time on a miserable rainy day which is great so it’s still a 5 star from me!
I just wish I had bought it sooner.

Just bought meaco dehumidifier/purifier 6L and it's brilliant. The water collected so far in bedroom is amazing. Not dried clothes yet as still dehumidifing my little bungalow. It's very quiet and compact. Im well pleased.

Our Meaco Dehumidifier which was still under warranty stopped working. Contacted their Service Department who were very helpful. Supplied return packaging and label. Sent back Friday 16th January and arrived back having been repaired and tested on Wednesday 21st January. Fantastic service, very pleasant and helpful staff. Very impressive. Can't rate them highly enough.

2 year old Arete One 25l dehumidifier playing up, control buttons and display making no sense.
Contacted Customer Services - spoke to an extremely polite and professional lady and explained the issue.
No problem - she sent me a new box and packing for the return which arrived the next morning, and DPD collected the dehumidifier.
Meaco mailed me a service report detailing the problem. All done and back with me in 10 days. Dehumidifier working spot on now!
Customer Service beyond expectations! Other companies please learn how to carry this out properly.

Our machine developed a fault under warranty, the team were so helpful, especially Harry who sorted everything via email including sending us a new box, arranging collection, sorting servicing and repair, and getting our dehumidifier back to us swiftly (picked up Monday, repaired, serviced, and home by thursday) Service and repair time was super efficient! Send back my dehumidifier because the screen had a fault after approx 3 years of service. Was sent a box for packing and then the unit was collected by courier. A few days later received a service report via email saying that the screen, a temperature sensor, humidity sensor had been replaced. Not only that, but they replaced the electrical lead that my puppy had chewed through, all free of charge. Received the dehumidifier back 2 days after the email.
Fantastic service and a fast turnaround for a free warranty repair.
I would highly recommend Meaco 👏
