No waiting to speak to someone. Spoke with a lovely lady who was very informative. Great first class service.

Nothing but harassment.
I have a £400 debt I plan to settle WHEN I can. Yet I get several letters one after another sometimes the same letter sent over and over constant threats. Currently dealing with severe mental health issues but of course Moorcroft don’t care and just want their money. I have filled out the form for an offer of repayment over 20 times and it keeps saying time out error please login again. Not bothering now. It’s not my fault your site has constant errors. I have tried my best despite my health problems. I have emailed to state my terms and what needs to be set up that’s all I’m doing. I can’t phone at the moment. I don’t know what else to do but YOUR company are affecting me more than I can handle. Enough now. 007356377364

Absolutely appalling communication and harassment from this company. Despite several attempts to contact them regarding a FALSE outstanding balance on a credit card which has been fully paid off prior to them contacting, they keep sending letters. Proof has been provided that the debt has been paid off. There have been several personal attempts over several months to contact them regarding their incessant harassment too, yet they keep sending letters.
To top it all off, they keep sending letters to an old address that wasn’t even registered to the original debt.
I would not trust a disreputable company who lack the clarity and fundamental knowledge to conduct proper due diligence prior to attempting contact with individuals regarding false debt.
It is more than evident that they prey on all and any individuals who have had debts in the past in order to hopefully catch someone innocent enough to indulge their greed.
Disgusting behaviour.

I know they a debt collectors. But one day you may actually want to clean yourself up.
I have hide and moved and ignored for years terrified of what could happen. I answered to them by mistake while I was waiting for someone else to call back.
I wish I could remember who it was with, very polite to be honesy, we had a brief chat and to my surprise he was more focused on not taking too much of me, and basically said that something is better than nothing, he doesnt want me to struggle.

I asked him to call me back, Im sure I told him like 6pm so I could get washed up and sit down.

Final payments done now. You guys can stop sending letter now ✌️
Big thank you for the patience and consideration of your team. Working with you lot made easier to speak with debt collectors. Although Moorcroft is probably one of the better ones, as far as debt collection goes 😅

Moorcroft pursued me for an EE debt that had already been paid in full.

I had to formally dispute the account to stop collection activity.

This caused unnecessary stress and time wasted dealing with a non-existent debt.

Debt collection should be based on verified information.

Not helpful. Paid my dues yet still taking direct debit, asked for a refund, told I will get a letter advising me I'm in credit and to call and discuss a refund. I've actually just asked for one ! Crap. Keep your eyes on your DD'S.

Myself and my husband are under a debt relief order moorcroft know this and they have been spoken to numerous times and also sent proof of the dro but still continuing to hound us via email and letter do you not understand that you are not supposed to be contacting us please will you stop making life stressful knowing you are still bullying us ! I will seek legal advice if it continues as legally you are at risk of being prosecuted if the insolvency company find out you are doing this because you are breaking the law

Moorcroft is a company that does not exercise due diligence with the people it peruses for debts. Moorcroft acts on behalf of fraudsters who make unlawful demands for money without bothering to check if the money was lawfully owed.

I wanted to change, the date, that my direct debit went out of my bank account, to Moorcroft Recovery, and bring it forward. So, I rang them up, and after going through some checks, on the automated system, I was put on hold, for a short while. Then, I was connected to an advisor. He checked my identity details, and asked me, why I was calling. I explained, and it was okay with him, to do the change, so he took me through the process, of getting the direct debit date, changed. He was professional, efficient, and polite, and explained everything to me. He also checked my outgoings, and my budget, which was thoughtful, and patient, of him, to help make sure, that I could still afford to pay, the direct debit amount, I was paying. He explained to me, that I could get a free budget check, done, if I was struggling, to cope, with all my outgoings, which was also good, of him. The whole experience was smooth, and thorough. Thank you very much, for your excellent service.
