I cannot get a proper explanation as to why they are not sending my order, and I have not been offered any compensation.
Therefore, I cannot recommend doing business with this company.

A brand with such promise let down by dreadful customer service and no regard for loyalty.
Once a loyal repeat customer let down by service. I bought two sizes of a top to find the right fit paying for the FREE RETURN ($8.85). When I tried to return the tip that didn't fit, I was told it was on sale so I couldn't return it. It wasn't clear on the website that you couldn't return sale item and they would not budge and understand that I hadn't seen the hidden disclaimer. They wouldn't even refund the $8.95 I paid in advance to return one of the tops.
So many great Australian brands to choose from that actually care for their customers. Sadly Maye the Label lacks integrity and customer service.

This is not the case. The tops were not clearly marked final sale.
You had a chance to do the right thing by a loyal customer and you chose not to. It's that simple.
All I am saying is there are many other beautiful Australian brands I have purchased from who treat customers well and engender loyalty and love for the brand.

Terrible service and products
I bought a dress on sale, which did not fit well (beware if you’re a curvy girl, you gotta go up a couple sizes- they’re waistline sits at that awkward spot on your hip to make your hips look bigger) anywho- tried to return for refund, as all their dresses had the same seam line, of course- no refund on sale items. I argued this one and received extremely limited and delayed responses with a clear no from them- no compromise, nothing. I got a credit and begrudgingly bought a different dress, making sure I went up a size. This one fit ok and I was kinda happy with it. Wore it once, washed it once- in cold water with other colours, and the dye ran and left light splotches over the dress! I am so disappointed, I can’t win with this company either. They won’t do anything about it, $180 down the drain. I’ve bought better dresses from SHEIN!

I ordered the Greta Midi dress in navy and received it today - 3 days after placing my order which is terrific considering the order was placed on the Friday before Australia Day.
The communication was excellent as AU Post sent just the right number of updates.
The quality is superb. The fabric is beautifully sturdy without being too heavy. The fit is perfect and the overall quality a 10 out of 10 for casual clothing.
I'm generally shocked by some of the other reviews and wanted to post this as an alternative point of view.

Harlow Shirt & Amalie Blouse - amazing!
I recently purchased the Harlow Shirt and the Amalie Blouse and they’ve honestly exceeded my expectations. The fabric is such good quality with a very premium feel and both pieces are incredibly soft, light, and breathable to wear. I also rang the customer service team for sizing help and they were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience so easy. My order arrived very quickly with no issues at all. I’d highly recommend both styles and I’ll definitely be purchasing again!
BEWARE OF THE EXTRA COSTS WHEN EXCHANGING A DISCOUNTED ITEM
Purchased an item for 20% off in the Black Friday sales, and it was clearly stated that it was eligible for an exchange if it was not right (I paid the extra money at check out to post it back if need be). What they DIDN'T specify was that you would have to pay the rest of the cost up to the full price! I was told that the sale had ended; naturally anything ordered during the sale period was not going to arrive in time to send the item back before the sale ended so I found this incredibly dishonest.
There is no number to call so I had to rely on emailing for assistance, only to have to wait two to three days each time with two different reps saying something different.
In the end, I opted for a credit and am still waiting for it to be applied to my account.
Big waste of time, and money.
Had they have specified the actual terms and conditions I would not have purchased the item.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. Agree with others of the terrible service. Wanted to return a dress for a refund but have been told they dont refund on a Sale item. Wasn't a huge discount to start with but as I live in NZ, have decided to give tge dress away as I am not interested in a credit from such a bad company.

If I can give zero stars with a review, this would be it. I’ve held off with this one until now. There is no customer service. You send an email, no response. I had to send one each day after awhile just to get their attention. Still no response but I eventually received my pre order item which was 3 weeks later than advertised. I have just returned this pre order item and am waiting on my refund. I emailed the team on the 5th day of when the parcel was returned. We are now 7 business days of waiting for my refund. I wouldn’t order from this company again. Customer service is crucial for any business and this one has none.
I can’t say the clothing is nice and well made because it’s not worth the money they’re charging.
Take the time to read all the reviews and take it from us that have gone through this experience for others to not lose or waste their money. I didn’t do my due diligence in reading reviews. I wish I did before purchasing.

Difficult shipping practices- may not receive itemss
Update: I did eventually receive the lost package after back and forth with the company and the shipper. The second exchange item never arrived so I reached out this week after a few months of waiting without an update. The company responded quickly that it was backordered and offered a refund, which I took. The one dress I did receive was nice but I think the delivery and communication issues need to be resolved before I would recommend as a customer. If you are counting on a timely shipment, you may be disappointed.
Original post: I have placed two orders with Maye over the last two months and still have not received the items I ordered. One item I returned to exchange for a smaller size and I have been waiting over one month to receive the item. The second order was lost in shipping. It very clearly shows it was lost in the carrier tracking system and Maye representatives told me to contact the shipping company to sort it out. This is unacceptable given that they charge you an extra shipping protection and return fee when you order. The clothes may be nice but it doesn't matter when you never receive them. Will not order from them again.

Terrible customer service and misleading advertising
I would have given no stars if I could. I went to purchase a dress in the Black Friday sales. There was a clear banner consistently along the top of all pages stating “Free gift for your orders over $350”. I relied on this representation and therefore purchased more dresses to make up a value greater than $350. I noticed when I paid at checkout that there was no mention of my free gift (I spent in excess of $400). I contacted Maye by email and queried this. I was told the banner was correct but that the free gift had run out and so I would not be getting mine. I wrote back politely advising that the banner was misleading etc. and Maye simply rejected my email!!! Misleading advertising and terrible customer service. They have just lost a customer. Plus I will be taking further action and reporting this company.

I recommend not purchasing from this company. I ordered a dress in August that did not arrive until mid September. In addition I had to pay £38 customs import fee. Whilst MAYE customer service says this is on their website, you have to look hard for it. The dress is much too big, despite using their online size advice so I needed to return it. As it has to go back to Australia, this is complicated, time consuming and expensive. Customer services were slow to respond and generic in their response. So I have given the dress to my local charity shop in the hope that someone will get a good outcome from this expensive mistake.

Great quality and superb service
I purchased the Harper denim dress and was thinking oh well if I don’t like it I can return it…, NO NEED ! This denim is beautiful to wear and although a little more than I usually pay for dresses I will definitely be buying more! The quality is fantastic and the shipping was a couple of days - Super Happy 🌺🌺🌺

Don't bother if you're in the UK
Don't bother if you're in the UK - I have had to pay £38 customs charges on a dress that cost £148.00. At this price point, I expect shipping to be free, but I did pay a shipping fee of £10.00. To then find I have to pay customs fees on top of this is really outrageous. Customer service was dismissive - they do say on their site that they send fees unpaid but you have to go looking for this information. I wouldn't bother - plenty of other clothing labels out there that give a better service.

Delivery nightmare
The delivery of the item was slow and late into stock. They are not geared up to send items out of Australia/NZ and I ended up paying additional duties and taxes adding 30% to the cost of the dress. No proper explanation etc. poor service from customer care
