However I was shocked by the prices applied to the pet food they sell in their physical shops (about 15% over their online prices). The online prices are similar to those you can find in similar online shops. You can choose the click and collect option though, which makes you pay the online price.
I have noticed this huge difference in pricing only on their pet food so far.

Misleading Policies and Hidden Fees - Avoid This Company
I am extremely disappointed with Maxi Zoo and will never shop with them again.
I ordered dog food with store pickup, specifically choosing this option because they clearly advertised that if I didn’t collect my order within 3 days, I would receive an automatic refund. This seemed perfect since I was traveling in France and thought I might find the food locally instead.
Here’s what actually happened:
• No automatic refund was processed after 3 days as promised
• I had to contact customer support multiple times to get any response
• When they finally agreed to process the refund, they kept over 15% of my payment without any explanation
• No transparency about hidden fees or partial refund policies
This is classic bait-and-switch behavior. They advertise one thing to get you to purchase, then operate completely differently when it comes time to honor their promises. The fact that they retained 15% of my payment with zero explanation feels like theft.
I had to contact their customer service multiple times just to get a partial refund that should have been automatic. This company clearly uses dark patterns and misleading advertising to keep customers’ money.
Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. There are plenty of other pet supply companies that actually honor their policies and treat customers fairly.

Delivery was on point and quite fast as usual (about 3 days). Work was done properly. No product missing. Products delivered on time and to the right adress. Positive customer experience. I have been a good client since 2020 and I have never been disappointed so far. I also do appreciate the accuracy of the information given during the whole process from the purchase to the delivery. My beloved old pet absolutely has to eat medical food. Thanks to Maxizoo, the delivery is fast so that my pet doesn't miss anything. Thank you.

I go to the shop at Narbonne. The supermarket is next door so I go there mainly to drop cat food for the shelter and buy when I find what I need. But honestly most of the time the RC wet food is not available. I don't mind, I order on line. But I like going there because the staff is really nice.
