This was the 3rd time I have utilized…

This was the 3rd time I have utilized MaxBack, so obviously, I trust their service and their review of the items sent in. One of my phones had a "broken" camera, something I did not know, but upon reflection recall having a problem scanning bar codes, which may well could have been the camera, not the wi-wi as I suspected. Even being rated as "fair" (the second phone was "excellent"), the amount paid was as much as I had been offered on other sites, and the "excellent" rated phone received even a much higher value. At any rate, I was paid immediately upon accepting the offers, and PayPal had he money in my checking account the following day. In short, I will use MaxBack again in the future

Great Service!

Easy to follow process for getting a quote and sending the phone in. Very prompt payment time after they received the phone! Overall an excellent way to sell your devices! I will definitely use MaxBack again in the future!

Maxback was so easy to deal with

Maxback was so easy to deal with. They sent me the label so I didn't have to pay shipping. I said my two-yr.-old Pixel 2 (64 GB) was in excellent condition and they gave me the excellent price which was double what I would have gotten with Verizon. They didn't question anything about the condition and the money was transferred to my Paypal account. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

Take detailed pictures of your device…

Take detailed pictures of your device before sending it in to this company my quote went from $123 to $80. There were NO scuffs or scratches when I sent it in, I wrapped in in foam wrap and boxed it myself, some how when they opened it was scratched and scuffed according to the email I got. They did email me pictures of the screen with two small scratches, that weren't there when I sent it in. However I have no pictures of my own to prove it so I could take back the now scratched phone or except to lower quote. Oh and try to them to call u Ha that's a joke.

Troublesome

Maxback moved offices without proper forwarding instructions to USPS, and my item was returned to me. This delayed an already very slow process. We disagreed on the condition of my item, which I never claimed to be pristine, and they lowballed the original offer by 75%. I will never use Maxback again, and will instead use Gazelle, where I've never had trouble.

Unfortunately, I could not find any transactions under the name you provided. I want to assure you that without a doubt, we filed our change of address with USPS to begin on 11/11/19 without issue. We did not do anything wrong. Most of our packages did get forwarded to the correct address. Only a handful of devices were returned to the customer and yours was one of them. We absolutely, without a doubt did everything correctly with our change of address. We dotted all of our I's and crossed all of our t's. What would make you come to the conclusion that this was anything but the fault of USPS?

I personally handled all the cases in which USPS had returned the items to the sender. You and every other customer were provided with a new shipping label to the correct address. If need be we extended the quote expiration date. I feel we did everything possible to rectify the mistake perpetrated by USPS.

So far as the re-quoting process goes, it is stated in our terms of agreement that all transactions are subject to re-quote. You agreed to this when you initiated your transaction. We understand that most customers do not turn the device off to check the cosmetic condition of the screen or use bright lights and a magnifying glass. Our inspectors are professionals that are trained to specifically look for certain defects to make sure the device is accurately assessed for resale. They are trained to look for screen burn in, hot spots, dead pixels microphone issues etc. This is why every item is subject to re-quote. We understand that customers are usually not trained to look for these issues.


If you had an issue with the re-quote you could have contacted us. We would be happy to further explain exactly why your item was re-quoted. Since we have no transaction matching with the name you provided I am unable to see the re-quote details.

Rest assured we have never and will never fabricate defects on an item sent to our facility. This would be counterproductive. We pay the shipping cost to have it sent to our facility, then you have the right to deny the re-quote, consequently we return your device at our cost again.

We understand this is your opinion but please do not accuse of of issues we did not cause.

Easy Payment for Apple Watch

No real problems. Followed the instructions. Mailed in my old Apple Watch. Got paid quickly. Only complaint was that USPS said that they had received the watch but it was 2 or 3 days later before the MAXBACK status no longer said "waiting for product". Was it just sitting in their mail room? Despite this I would definitely use again.
