This 'company' is a Chinese SCAM site. If you receive anything you may have ordered, as I unfortunately did, it will NOT be as advertised in the photo. Poor quality and nothing like it. I have contacted my Bank as I paid by Credit card. They are serving a Charge back.

As stated by others . Should have looked here 1st. Total scam. I ordered size 2xl , I usually take 1xl . they arrived and I couldn't even get my hands through the sleeves. Hobbit shirts. Oh , and they are minging.

Complete scam from China, do not buy anything from this site, the quality and sizing are absolutely shocking and it'll take you for ever to get your money back, if you get it back at all. They have nothing to do with the real Marlowe store in Manchester that closed down, they're re-using their website fraudulently and pretending to be them but they're based in China and the clothes are an absolute joke

As all of the others have stated. This is a total scam. £190 spent on what looks like high end boutique clothing. Saw a Facebook advert explaining how a small family run business had a bad run of luck and were closing down so shifting their stock 80% off. What has arrived (over two weeks after I ordered it from Manchester (and I live a 45 min drive away)) is cheap, synthetic and not even the correct sizes. Email bounced back but I’ve filled a form in on their website and had a reply asking me to have a 20% refund instead of returning. I’ll see what they say tomorrow otherwise I’ll be contacting the bank. DO NOT BUY. I’m an internet savvy 30 year old and can’t believe I’ve been had like this.

Ordered a pair of boots . A cheap pair arrived not at all what was ordered . No return label when I tried to contact them I got emails asking me to keep them and give them my card details for a 20 pc refund .

Ordered a cashmere sweater, & a cheap acrylic one arrived, that was nothing like the colour pictured! Delivery took ages as well, as came from overseas! Return email bounced! Total scam!!

I had an awful experience with this company and want to warn others to stay away. They are scammers, plain and simple. I saw their ad on Instagram, where they claimed to be a UK-based business having a “closing down sale” in Manchester. Wanting to support what I thought was a local family business, I placed a large order of stylish clothes for my partner.

However, I never received the items I purchased. After waiting far too long, I realized their claims of being UK-based were false—they actually operate from abroad. Their website became inaccessible, and all emails bounced back as undeliverable, leaving me with no way to contact them.

I had to involve my bank to recover my money, which was a time-consuming and frustrating process. This company uses deceptive tactics to lure customers, and their operation is nothing short of a scam.

I also believe platforms like Instagram should be held accountable for allowing such fraudulent companies to advertise on their platform. It’s unacceptable for customers to fall victim to these scams because of unverified ads.

Avoid this company at all costs, and be cautious of similar scams on social media platforms.

Do not buy from this firm. Took over two weeks to deliver and you cannot contact them as the emails they send out from return as "undeliverable". The site itself is down continuously. Having purchased two shirts that are nothing like the correct size as advertised nor in terms of quality or colour I am currently seeking a refund through my bank. In the small print also you have to pay to return items to asia starting at £15 postage or more

100% scam informed bank and they said they will get money back, which surprised me tbh

Website and email is now offline. They have done a runner. I have reported the scam to the bank so will hopefully get my money back.

I’m sure they will set up a new site with a new name but these guys are crooks.

This business is a scam. They don’t have a store and the website is fake. You won’t receive any items you order.

You may have read on social media that there store has been vandalised and they’ve taken the sad decision to close. It’s a lie, they never had a store in the first place.

Pretty certain this website is a scam, as a lot of their images are AI generated. They also lied about having a brick and mortar store.
