Both, Mongopay and Vinted are beyond awful, taking 5 days, and still not being able to resolve the Vinted payout glitch, that shouldn't be happening in this day and age, especially when Vinted has bee... See more

Simple but uncomfortable
I have been casually asked to provide photo ID on vinted. After some digging between Vinted and Mangopay's jargon-filled T&C's, if I do share this, it will be held for ten years and I can not request and have it deleted.
They also do not openly share which third parties they share my sensitive data with (though I am sure it is somewhere listed via another link).
UPDATE: after an AI search, one may be the company that just settled after misusing biometric data... This four starts and not five.
I have raised that I am not comfortable and have offered to confirm my identity in a other way (video call, telephone).
Ironically, if someone has hacked into my life to sell a handful of kids old things, I'm pretty sure they could access my driver's licence, making the entire thing quite pointless.
UPDATE: This was needed as my account activity had changed and I'd had to cancel and reupload items after illness. Once they ask, they are not legally allowed to waive this.
Hopefully, a video call to show my ID will be enough to release my funds (a whopping £100).
If not, I have to decide wether to upload my ID onto a company's app that says in it's T&C's that anything I upload it can use for AI training, and that admit they could be hacked so I shouldn't share anything too personal, should have my most sensitive data for the next decade - well, them and their third parties. I wonder if my bank can help...
UPDATE: My bank couldn't have (the law requires independent verification) but Google Gemini did, and explained the law pretty well. So I uploaded using their tips and it was a super simple process and accepted first time.
I do not love that it was needed, and that sales were allowed to complete without agreeing to this, but it was actually ok. Unless I am subsequently the victim of identity theft, then I will reinstate the one star.
we have an enterprise licence with…
we have an enterprise licence with mangopay and we put millions of euro through them on a monthly basis.
They are without doubt the worst company i have ever dealt with in terms of communication and customer service.
If i was starting afresh i would never choose this company and I will migrate as soon as is feasible.
Refusal to register a Belgian business…
Refusal to register a Belgian business account – unacceptable
I am a Belgian self-employed professional with fully compliant EU documents. Yet MANGOPAY refuses to register my business account via Vinted Ltd without valid justification.
Their KYC system appears unsuitable for certain EU independent professionals, creating unfair discrimination and preventing legitimate businesses from operating.
A formal complaint has been filed with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).
I strongly encourage any affected professional to also file a complaint with the CSSF.
EU professionals have the right to work when fully compliant!
Emptied by balance from Delcampe
Emptied by balance from Delcampe. A joke of a company avoid at all costs, they classed it as a fee to keep the account open. the fee is £2 not ALL MY BALANCE
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company, no help, support don’t reply to emails. Don’t know who is worse them or vinted. Have instructed a solicitor after FOUR months of trying to get £3800 out of my vinted account.
Don’t bother with vinted - eBay is so much better
Do not move to Vinted Pro
I was told I had to move to Vinted Pro. Tried verifying my Id 6 times along with business registration. Each time told to upload a different document to be declined. Wouldn't mind but Vinted owe me money for sales that they are holding until verified. Avoid at all costs going Pro on vinted.
Vinted Pro
Vinted Pro. Realising that these thieves are going to keep our hard earned £2500 sickens me. We worked so hard to earn that money and have been scammed on a massive scale. Verification is of course impossible and if you take Vinted and Mangopay to court you will never get a penny from Lithuania or Luxembourg. It is rigged from the start and I feel like a fool.
THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO STEP IN
THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO STEP IN , this company has held £2.5 k of my money waiting for verification which I have done 5x . It is listed with the financial conduct authority so please report to them if your money is being held .
This has been the worst experience I’ve…
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had .My money has been blocked in my Vinted wallet, despite the fact that I submitted all the required documentation.
After more than 10 attempts to resolve this issue through customer support, the problem remains completely unsolved. I have received no meaningful explanation or solution. The rejection is purely systematic.
At this point, this situation feels like a scam. I am seriously considering asking my lawyer to initiate legal action against to recover my funds. Still wondering how Vinted can accept such thinks to happen, this will definitely go public
Huge security issues with this one
Huge security issues with this one, I had withdrawn from my account on a random morning 129€ without purchasing anything, eventho vinted eventually reimbursed me, it’s completely unacceptable that this can be allowed and that they have the data to do this
Literally stole my money
Literally stole my money. My bank transferred money back into myvinted account though Mangopay, and Vinted are saying they dont have my money and Mangopay wont even give me the time of day to reply. Absolutely shocking, daylight robbery this is insane in this day and age, i want my money back!!!.
DO NOT set up a Vinted account
DO NOT set up a Vinted account, they use Mangopay to process user transactions. Vinted allow you to sell on Vinted & build a balance, but they won't allow you to pay for anything or withdraw funds from your balance, despite completing identity validation & some crap about being a "Politically Exposed Person" whatever that is??? & still I am unable to pay for anything or withdraw money from my account & all Vinted say is "We are still investigating, thank you for your patience, Have a great day"
Avoid like the plague please do not set…
Avoid like the plague please do not set up a vinted pro account these scammers will let you build up money then when you send in all the correct documents they then use excuse after excuse to give your money! Sickening to think all these businesses losing their hard earned money to fraudsters like Mangopay!!
This is my review of Mangopay
This is my review of Mangopay!
I am a limited company trying to register on Vinted! As part of KYC delt with by mangopay it wants specific documents. One is an article of association and second is proof of registration.
For the article of association, I upload a true article of association and for proof of registration I upload the incorporation certificate. They refuse it. So I go again! This time around I upload the latest conformation statement for the article of association (even though it’s not an article of association) and there is literally only document you can upload for proof of registration, and that’s the incorporation certificate. And you guessed it, it was refused.
So clearly their KYC is not fit for purpose as it is clearly wanting documents to be used that are not even the correct documents.
Poor show this…
They stole my information ( passport…
They stole my information ( passport and Tax information) and promised set up Vinted pro account. After receiving the documents they dissaperd. I’ll be reporting them to police, trading standards and government.
Asked to verify my id to withdraw £150…
Asked to verify my id to withdraw £150 from vinted then verified with drivers license now balance is at 400 and it keeps failing with no solution or what i can do to fix it, can sell but cant withdraw or use my balance in anyway

WORST SCAM going with vinted!!! Stay away you sell your items they hold your money ask for pep politically exposed forms ! Such nonse and perosnal I.d all given and passed but they don't let you take your money !! Biggest scam platform and this payment processor is the worst stay away avoid avoid avoid
Doesn’t matter what you provide for ID
Doesn’t matter what you provide, they will not release your money. Only way is legal action. Avoid like the plague.
WARNING! DO NOT USE THESE COMPANIES
It's apparent, it's a Ponzi Scheme. How can these two companies be allowed to get away with this? Holding my funds and it seems many others. It needs to stop now!
Which I could give MINUS 4 star review
Wish I could give -4 star review. Yeah got my money back, I'm lucky so it seems. But the way this company communicates to clients about THEIR money. Threatning me to charge me E30 when I don't withdraw my lousy hardearned E8,50. I never selected them when using the Peerby platform - who tell me they have ended their contract with them because they also hate their service. And as I read in the reviews they are also the payment partner of Vinted, just made me cancel that account too. These people don't know what the word customer service means. Are they evil? Maybe not by design. But certainly the worst rated company I ever had to deal with. So makes you wonder....
