Terrible service
Avoid. Made numerous promises, no lights. After weeks of nothing, not even able to call them, I finally got my credit card company to sort out. Informed trading standards.
In over 50 years of shopping I cannot recall a worse experience.
This was an utter shambles. If it hadn't been for a series of delivery promises I would have cancelled my order much sooner. Even involving the Managing Director made no difference. If you want the full story read on:

Thank you ever so much for your order, to update you unfortunately this Westinghouse product was linked to our stock feed with the supplier and was showing as in stock with them at the time. We were due stock of this yesterday so set the order as dispatched, unfortunately some items were missing, I have spoken to our supplier and this item will be delayed until Tuesday for delivery to yourselves 1-2 days after, for which I can't apologise enough and any inconvenience caused.

Hello Tom,
I'm at my wits end. Three promised late delivery dates have now been missed and I can't get a straight story on either the chat line or the phone. First you gave an understandable reason for delay and an acceptable delivery promise, when this didn't happen I got onto the chat line on the Friday and was told delivery would be the following Thursday, reason given "Sales Team are extremely busy" - I asked what that had to do with it and referred to your email but didn't get any sense - chap said he would get you to ring me. I was 40 minutes on the line, most of it twiddling my thumbs! Thursday came and went and I phoned - it'll be with you on Monday Sir. Well, it's now late Wednesday. I tried the chat line and got no response whatsoever after 30 minutes, tried phoning but office closed. All this time your website shows the order status as "Completed".
The situation is now beyond a joke, I've got an irate wife and a contractor on hold to install the fan. If Lyon can't fulfill the order please say so and then I can go elsewhere.

I was not aware of a stock issue at the warehouse, so far reasons given for non-delivery have been:

Hello William,
I don't know if this update will reach you as I have had no acknowledgment of my first message. When I last wrote the situation was: "... we will be receiving your product into our warehouse on the 26th. Delivery to yourself will be the next working day as we are upgrading your shipping to a next working day service." Did it arrive - of course not. I phoned yesterday afternoon, spoke with James who said he would be getting a list of fans from the warehouse by five o'clock and would then be able to give me an update. I said O.K. then I can expect to hear from you later this afternoon. Did I get a call? Of course not. I phoned 30 minutes ago and after a long wait was told that I should receive my order in 2 - 3 days. I pointed out that it should have been on next working day delivery but was told no, it's on ordinary delivery but it's definitely on the way.
So, here we are. Order placed on 25th August and still not here. Will it arrive by Monday?, God only knows but I'm not optimistic.
It really is a shambles and reflects very badly on your Company.

It's been 6 weeks since I placed my order. I've been fobbed off and lied to four times, plus endless unanswered or unnavailable phone calls. Don't touch.

Ordered parts on 18th September and still not got them. Had a couple of nice emails saying they will be with you soon but still have not received them yet. Emailed them back to say no hurry as I need them by the end of November for Christmas presents but no response. Hopefully, they will come through and get the parts to me.

Appalling customer service
I had some critical feedback regarding delivery - I had no response. The MD emailed me to ask if I had received a response - told him I had not.
No response
Then when fitting the ceiling fan, the lamp was broken. So I replied again to his email adding that - no response.
Then the motor had an odd off beat when running - mailed about that, no response.
Then I emailed to remind him I had not had any response - no response
Minus one star would have been more appropriate
Ordered July, no response, emailed Mr. Chisholm who promised to send when stock arrived. After numerous emails received completely wrong goods. Rang up and was promised my goods on return of wrong ones,they were in stock! Week later rang again and was promised my order, they were in stock! One of the items I had ordered arrived two weeks later with a note saying the other would follow next week( in stock?) This was two weeks ago. Tried to ring today(26th.oct.) line unobtainable so don't know why I am wasting any more time on this.

Order placed in August. Nothing received so far (Oct 25th). Phone is not picked up. No reply to email either.
Company in liquidation? Avoid!
I purchased a light from Lyon Lighting which had not arrived after 2 weeks. I contacted their customer service team who stated it was a back order issue and would be with us within the week. A month later, still no light. I requested a refund via email and was ignored. I checked their facebook page and with company house and it looked suspicious - a director both resigned in August 16 and was posing as a customer raving about good service on their facebook page. Both directors (one remaining active) are early 20's with no obvious previous experience. Something really didnt feel right so I contacted my bank. They refunded the money immediately at least, which goes to show using your credit card for an online spend is a great option!
I hope this helps people understand why it would be a terrible idea to deal with this company until you know where they stand!
