The most awful insurance company
I made my claim for an accident that happened on August 2025 and they have never contacted me for any news they were interested to charge me £500.00 upfront which it wasn’t my fault for the accident and they have never contacted me with any news i have trying to contact them in many occasions and they have left me waiting for each time 1 hour and 40 minutes and never responded i hade to make another claim and told them all the details and still the same story so if I could rate them it will be - 100 they are rubbish

Having received a policy reminder ….for home insurance … with an exceptionally high quote ,,I then searched for another provider …when finding LV and receiving a very reasonable quote… a felt comfortable as I had previously had home insurance with LV .

Returned to LV after a year with Aviva. So glad to be back. Excellent service as always, the renewal on line was quick and easy. All staff answer calls,( re for example… temporary additional drivers…) is a simple and efficient process, completed quickly over the phone. Not done online, taking hours and no one to discuss things with. Feel relief that I’m back with LV.

Just phoned up after receiving a renewal price of £902. Shopped around using comparison sights and it kicked back a price of £652 with LV off the back of that, but 1st Central could do £410.
Rang the renewals dept up to see if they could do any better, gentlemen on the phone told me that £902 was the very best. When I told him the price was cheaper on the comparison site, he dismissed me and told me he's going to turn auto renewal off. Didn't offer to look at anything, didn't try and retain me. Instantly dismissed me and told me to go elsewhere. Really Really disappointed. I would have stayed with LV if they could match the price quoted on the comparison site, but all he wanted to do was get me off the phone.
