Linton is nice, but FedEx is not so good.
The tweed clothes of Linton was so nice!!
But the FedEx shipment was so expensive, because I paid the amount of shipping charge in advance before shipping, FedEx asked us another high cost again after I received the Lintin goods. Another U.K. department didn’t such double payment.
Every time I received the goods, I felt uncomfortable by FedEx.

I ordered some samples
I ordered some samples. One fabric was no longer available. Linton immediately informed me and sent me a selection of others similar to that one. Top service!
oustanding fabric.
Lovely fabric, quick delivery
My black & white tweed arrived quickly. I loved it. My jacket, a typical Chanel type, is almost complete & im very happy. The service from London is excellent & their tweeds are incredibly special. Thank you.
My thoughts on purchasing and receiving this pattern
Dear all,
These are my thoughts on purchasing and receiving the Linton Eden Jacket pattern recently. I have not been paid to give this review and the thoughts and later observations are mine and mine alone.
I was kept in touch of developments about my pattern order all through the buying process, from purchase to delivery.
On receipt, the pattern is inside a card envelope. This looks very bespoke and printed with the Linton logo on the front. On the back are clear sizings and tweed requirements. There is a QR code to download the pattern instructions. I didn’t realise until I opened the envelope that the instructions did not come with the pattern.
Immediately, when I opened the envelope, I was disappointed to see the printed pattern was done on flimsy tissue paper. This lets a “premium” pattern product down to my eyes in 2025. I think this feels a very cheap option to print a pattern on, as it is not the 1950’s now. It feels like cost cutting. Surely a better alternative to thin tissue paper to print on is available in 2025? Especially for a premium pattern product.
I scanned the QR code as requested and effortlessly downloaded and saved all the sewing instructions. I don’t know how someone not well up on mobile phones would manage?
The font the instructions are typed in needs be changed for one that is more black or in bold please for those without a computer and rely on their phones to see the instructions. The instructions and pictures are comprehensive, but the pictures could do with being closer to the fabric if you only have a mobile phone to view.
I hope I have not put someone off with my comments. A lot of work has gone into producing this special pattern. Once sewn, we will have a wonderful jacket to wear and be seen in.
I do have a few concerns:-
1. The delivery cost for just over an A5 size envelope with a very light pattern with no instructions inside was just under £5.00. (However, I was updated by Linton and the package delivery service VERY regularly, so this was a good tracking service for the cost of delivery).
2. Not likely, I’m sure but what happens if you don’t have a mobile phone to get pattern instructions eg. an elderly person? Or a printer to print off instructions?
3. I would personally like a PDF version delivered via email in the future to print just my size off.
4. Is £25 worth it for a flimsy tissue paper pattern without instructions inside?
Those things aside, I look forward to making my own Eden Jacket very much.
Kind regards Vicky Ginn

The fabric arrived very quickly I couldn’t believe it!
Amazingly fast delivery! My package reached Vancouver
My package reached Vancouver Island in about 5 days from ordering! Luckily a friend had warned me to be very careful opening the tightly taped parcel as the lovely tweed was just under that outside wrapping with no protective barrier between and some kind of cutting implement was necessary to get into it. The tweed is gorgeous and now I’m enjoying the contemplative process of how to do it justice
Amazing fabric and shipping times
Perfection

Good description of fabrics on line
Good description of fabrics on line, speedy response to sample requests. Quality fabrics!!
The samples surpassed my expectations
Hi, friendly service, helpful when I had an issue with ordering samples. Generously added a lot more samples on top of what I'd originally ordered. Speedy sending them out, arrived the next day. They specialise in authentic couture tweeds, many of the samples surpassed my expectations both in terms of the quality and the ingenuity / creativity / subtlety of the designs. The website photographs are accurate but they can't convey the touch / feel and the sheer impact of the "WOW" factor !!!
End of line fabrics are a great deal!
The fabrics arrived safe and sound in the USA (and very quickly, I might add). The end of line fabrics are a great deal!
Beautiful fabric
Beautiful fabric. I have been eyeing your products for years. Finally bit. Very pleased with how quickly the parcel arrived. I really enjoyed Susan Khalje's couture jacket series on your website.
