The best for learn electric and acoustic guitar
When it comes to learning guitar, Lick Library is definitely the best site, with instructors who listen to their students and provide the most helpful advice tailored to each individual. The most amazing thing about Lick Library is that you learn to play by watching the instructor and then copying what you see.
There’s tons to explore across all genres. Each song comes with a backing track. It’s very helpful.

Subscribed for a few days and ask for a refund. The customer service is rude for telling me I'm not a geniune client. I was not refunded though I still have a 14-day trial.

Game changer
Lick Library has been an absolute game changer for me in learning the guitar. The tutors are all amazing at teaching and breaking things down slowly to help make it easier to learn. I have been a member of Lick Library for over 15 years and have always had a great experience with them. Have tried other guitar learning platforms but all have fallen short in comparison to Lick Library.

Achieved Real Progress
I have played the guitar on and off over the years but never really made any solid progress. I always felt it was a struggle to improve and after a few months would become disillusioned and I would gradually drift away from the instrument.
I picked it up again in 2020 to alleviate the boredom of lockdown and I have stuck at it and this time. I have made real progress. I am now playing at a far higher standard than ever before and can play songs I never thought or hoped I could master. I have even played live a few times recently and often meet up and play with other musicians.
So what is different this time? Well I joined LickLibrary and I found the lessons on the site so clear and easy to follow. I have learned so many songs in a relatively short period of time. There are thousands on there and new ones are added regularly so I don’t think I will ever run out of material.
I know there is a whole host of learning materials available online but I believe the tutors at LickLibrary give what I consider to be the most accurate breakdowns of the guitar parts available, and often you can download a backing track to play along with.
I also take advantage of the one to one sessions where I get to take part in a video call with a LickLibrary tutor every few weeks,. The personal support and guidance I receive from these sessions is extremely motivational and helps me keep my development as a player moving in the right direction.
So a big thank you to all the team at LickLibrary for helping me rediscover the guitar in a way I never thought I would.
They acquired GI Plus and now ........
They acquired GI Plus and now won't let me view what i have already paid for - unless i give them my credit card details.......this goes against the grain of everything most people hold valuable, I have already paid now they are withdrawing my right to see it by demanding my credit card details....this is wrong on so many levels. Anyone else have to give paymant details to use something they already own......

Great Experience, Well Worth the Money
There is such a wide variety of types of lessons available and they are generally very high quality. The lessons make you a better guitarist by showing you how the stuff is played and giving you great advice on approaching different aspects of the instrument. The instructors are great and the one-on-one lessons available as part of the membership are beneficial.
I love lick library but when I post…
I love lick library but when I post something or even email them about any possible incorrect notes they take it like I’m trying to trash them. I was hoping my intention are good for any community. I wood think they fix this in time but seems to be ignored or edited the mistakes I have seen. I did have a problem understanding some of the teachers and wish for a PDF so I can get a better understanding. It’s your accent that can throw me off a lot at times. On a positive side, I did have a lot of good DVDs from them that were excellent I loved Iron Maiden by Danny Gill, Sam Bell, Andy James are my favorites. I’m aware of the no tab in songs but if something is off, I will always tell my favorite website what’s up. The learning path however definitely needs tab as for the music learning I get the copyright thing and I do apologize. How the communication came across each other I needed time to think after the last email but the reason I got so picky in Music was because of the lick library. It made me a better player to the point I would analyze the song get the original music sheets and match it up with the tutorial and I will test it with a guitar trainer for example, Poison by Alex Cooper by Danny Gill. He was in the ballpark. I did learn his way, but something was off and I thought I was off beat or out of tune at first but when I re-learn the song through the actual music sheet, it was perfect and the guitar trainer was right on it.The notes would match up now if he was playing like for example a B chord seventh fret, OK and he said second fret B chord that would be fine but it wasn’t. Other than that most of the tutorials is pretty good. I want it for them was to hear me out. I can go on all day and try to speculate how this happen but 99% of the time they do hit the notes 🎶 perfectly. I do believe in constructive criticism again I think things got out of hand. Happy new year.
Can’t justify the price increase…
I found lick library a great learning resource, especially Danny Gill as a tutor. Some of the older videos were low quality and would be nice to have tabs available.
I have however cancelled my membership after 3 years due to the price increasing from £11.99 to £15.99 a month with no notification from lick library that the prices were going up. I’ll just go back to YouTube and deal with the adverts for learning. Shame, it was a nice resource for learning.

Disappointing would be an understatement
Love how in the modes video Danny decides to rush off with ZERO explanations. Just a useless bunch of nonsense about “you gotta memorize these”…stupid, lazy, rote approach and no clarification? Fail

It's not just a place to start, it's a good place to stay
They have the best customer service and are very knowledgeable with music. My only problem is that I took so long to join. You will have a great experience with Licklibrary and the path they put you on so you can reach your goals faster. I will continue to be a member.
People Are Important
I left an honest but less than postive review about lick library lacking structure.
After speaking 1 to 1 with Stuart from Lick Library i realised that this company really cares about Indiviuals & your progress on the guitar.
i still Think that your guitar journey should be front & centre with a clear path, it is there but hidden away in sub menus. so not a perfect site but one that genuinely cares about your progress.
i will continue my membership with Lick Library & anybody looking for guitar tuition, this truely is the place to be.
The customer service from the site is the best i've seen from any company.
All the Best to Stuart & all the team at LickLibrary

Great teachers but tabs would also be helpful!
The teachers are very good guitar players but it would be more helpful if tabs were included in their lessons.
Best guitar tuition site
I have been buying courses from Lick library for a long time. The amount of courses is incredible and the teachers are top notch. Over time i really learned a lot from all the courses i bought here. The courses are also fun to watch and play along.
This is the way.
Had a slight issue with my account. Contacted them using their contact form and issue was resolved overnight. Well done guys. Great site and great services to us guitarists. As the Mandalorian says, "This is the way". Thanks :)
Excellent Guitar Learning Tool
The range of artists & songs available is excellent.
The guitarists/teachers are brilliant at getting the techniques & lessons across, in particular Danny Gill and Michael Casswell, but I do tend to avoid those by Jamie Humpfries as his lessons are often just too fast to follow, especially on the occasions his explanations don't correspond with what he then demonstrates when playing!
The best!
Unmatched in every way, the service is unbelievable. Really a must for anyone looking to progress their playing.
Guitar Playing For Years
I've been purchasing from these folks since 2015. Some of the videos are older so the video quality are a little out of date but that has not stopped me from purchasing. Really great lessons for any genre. I've purchased so much and have learned quite a bit over the years. The nice thing about these videos is uploading to my mac book and storing them on iCloud and viewing them any time I want. What I would suggest from these folks is to have pdf tabs for all the guitar technique courses to make it easier to visually understand what the guitar instructors are doing. Some of the courses do have them but not all which can make the course a little more difficult. Overall it is by far the best guitar lessons I have seen online and the instructors are super knowledgable. I enjoy learning from these folks!
