Years after years, parking is still crap. Too much waste of time. Have visited so many theme parks they prioritise children but was disappointed by staff’s lack of empathy.

My son had a great time

My son had a great time, but as a parent and pensioner I found the seating/ rest areas around the park appalling, hardly any benches , people sat on concrete or grass , no covered areas ( 33 degrees both days), very uncomfortable. Even spoke and sympathathized with two pregnant ladies stood in the heat waiting for a child's ride to finish.

Also the signage could be a lot better, where minilego is there is hardly a sign pointing you in the right direction .

Finally , the inside cafe/ shop in duplo , shelves with drinks only one third full, not much choice and food choices area not much better...I asked a staff member why there was so little choice ...not his area !! And that rest area in side was scruffy, there for one hour yesterday, not one table cleared of rubbish whilst there...am here now writing this, same same, not much choice and scruffy .

Come on legoland, lots of revenue..invest a bit for the public pay goers like myself ..a bit more comfort and shade priority please

All the negative reviews are true

All the negative reviews are true. This place is absolute awful. Nothing works here . Staff are all going to work with a chip on their shoulder. Prices are criminal. I don't mind paying but the standards for minimal basicc service are not met. Places they serve food are disgusting. Sticky tables and chairs. Empty cutlery everywhere and staff don't care. Just chit chat with the staff but no one cares to serve customers. Do not go to this establishment.

Had a great day at Legoland with the family today so much to do & all family friend. Splashtowers is great fun. James & Tamila at Joe's chicken were very friendly.
Two downsides staff on some of the side games were abrupt & rude.

Access pass needs a lot of work we were trying to book for a week prior on the app but no luck, this was problematic with 3 children with special needs in the party

Very disappointed with LEGOLAND…

Very disappointed with LEGOLAND Windsor’s customer service.

Two tickets were purchased as a genuine Christmas gift at the end of 2024, unaware that the recipients had already booked their own visit for December 2024. The plan was to return during the 2025 Christmas period as LEGOLAND is not local and requires planning in advance.

When the recipients went to book at the end of November 2025, they discovered the tickets had expired and contacted customer services in December 2025. They were then told, due to data protection, only the original purchaser could discuss the booking. I contacted LEGOLAND myself a few days later in early 2026, only to be met with repeated references to “contacting in 2026” as justification for refusing any help whatsoever.

I fully understand companies have terms and conditions, but good customer service also involves discretion and goodwill, especially where tickets were purchased legitimately, unused, and the issue was raised as soon as it was discovered.

The responses felt scripted, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy or flexibility. We were simply told there was “no possible way” to help in any capacity.

Sadly, this experience has put us off returning to LEGOLAND in future, and we’ll likely choose alternative attractions instead.

We booked the VIP Birthday Package at…

We booked the VIP Birthday Package at LEGOLAND Windsor for our son’s birthday, costing £160, expecting a magical and stress-free experience. Sadly, it turned out to be extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The biggest issue happened when we entered the hotel room after spending the entire morning and afternoon in the park. We were already exhausted, especially as I am heavily pregnant, only to discover that the birthday setup had been prepared for completely different children, with cards addressed to the wrong names. Our son immediately noticed and said, “This isn’t for me,” which completely ruined the surprise we had carefully planned for him.

To make matters worse, all the LEGO sets included in the “VIP” package were leftover Easter-themed sets, despite Easter being long over. For a premium package, this felt lazy and poorly thought through.

What upset me even more was how the situation was handled by reception staff. Instead of resolving the mistake themselves, the receptionist expected me to fix the problem and asked me, while heavily pregnant and already tired after a full day in the park, to go back upstairs, collect the incorrect cards from the room, and bring them downstairs so she could write a replacement one. I found this completely inappropriate and very disappointing customer service, especially considering the mistake was entirely on their side.

After I complained, customer services offered to send our son a LEGO set as a goodwill gesture. Unfortunately, the replacement arrived with yet another mistake, a very small basic set worth less than £10, aimed at much younger children despite them already knowing our son’s age and interests. My son is a huge LEGO fan who builds advanced modular sets, so this felt very impersonal and careless rather than a genuine attempt to make things right.

The most frustrating part was the final response from customer services, where they essentially dismissed the issue as an “isolated circumstance” and refused any further resolution or refund, despite the package costing £160 and failing to deliver the premium experience advertised.

Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a company handles them. Unfortunately, we were left feeling disappointed, unheard, and that the experience simply was not worth the money.

I would not recommend the VIP Birthday Package based on our experience.

Very poor and refused to refund fast pass

Very overpriced for what it is. Very few actual rides, more "experiences". Rides also very tired like the rest of the park. Staff absolutely miserable and unengaged/ unhelpful. Clearly letting far too many people in as queues were all over an hour long. Given this, we paid £40 for a fast pass (these are heavily marketed) for a single ride and still had to queue for over 40 minutes. Legoland refused to refund this as we had used the pass, despite not being asked for it until we boarded the ride after 40 minutes

Overall I would spend your money elsewhere, Paultons park is 10x better and has characters who engage with children, staff who will help and fast passes that work as described.

Over priced

My boy loves it he's 6 but he didn't obviously pay. As a parent who is paying do not stay over night here it's shocking. Over priced to start with and no coffee or tea available at night , Staff are OK just young kids at the end of the day and don't really care it's just a job to them. Service is crap and food questionable, would I stay again absolutely not for the price.

Queued for same ride for 50 mins ( flight of the skyline) on two occasions and it broke down twice!
Refilled drinks at a cost of £16!
Food is a wee bit overpriced, and felt sorry for families.
Lego Windsor could do so much better and learn from other parks by decreasing internal cost of food and drinks let alone car park charge.
Only good side was it was dry and sunny

We recently visited LEGOLAND Windsor…

We recently visited LEGOLAND Windsor Resort for a two-day stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the cost of around £500 for our family.

The park was extremely overcrowded. Queue times were consistently over 60 minutes, meaning we managed only a few attractions during our visit. Several rides broke down while we were already waiting in line, and we were repeatedly told to come back later, which wasted even more time.

Fast Track passes were completely sold out, so there was no way to improve the situation despite the park clearly being over capacity. Even food outlets and the LEGO shop had long queues, making basic things like eating or buying souvenirs stressful rather than enjoyable — particularly difficult when visiting with children.

The hotel experience was also disappointing. We scanned the breakfast booking QR code the day before as instructed, only to find there was no availability for our family of four, except a partial booking for two people at 7am. This meant we couldn’t properly use a service we had already paid for.

Overall, we felt we spent most of our visit standing in queues rather than enjoying the park. Staff at the ticket office advised that nothing could be done, which added to the frustration.

We expected a magical family experience but instead left feeling disappointed and that the visit did not provide value for money. We hope the resort reviews crowd management and guest support so other families do not have the same experience.

Professional facade, but toxic and disrespectful behind the scenes

I have previously worked a full season here with success, but the reality of this workplace is hidden behind a fake 'friendly' mask. While they act nice at the start, they eventually 'switch up' and become weird, showing a lot of hidden animosity toward staff.

This was my 3rd attempt at returning. Most people wouldn't even bother coming back that many times, but I am a motivated worker who was committed to the role. Instead of valuing my loyalty, they actually criticized me for 'keep coming back' and applying. In any professional business, that is called dedication—at Legoland, they use it as a negative.

The recruitment process is a massive disappointment and highly unprofessional. I experienced interviewers who were whispering about me while I was right there next to them in the waiting area, which is completely out of order. Despite answering all questions correctly and having a proven track record, I was told 'I wouldn't get along with the staff'—a vague, lazy excuse used to reject someone they simply didn't want to show basic respect to.

If you value your dignity and want to be treated with basic human respect, look elsewhere. This management is more interested in whispering and playing games than in hiring experienced, motivated, and loyal workers. Their loss.

This was not a very SEN-friendly…

This was not a very SEN-friendly experience, and we won’t be returning.

I visited with my autistic child, and unfortunately the day was extremely overwhelming for them. I specifically booked after the Easter holidays expecting it to be quieter, but it was still very busy and full of tourists. There were hardly any free places to sit, which made it difficult to take breaks when needed.

We were also unable to use the Ride Access Pass properly. There were no staff members available to assist, and other guests wouldn’t let us access the ride queue as instructed. As a result, we couldn’t go on any rides at all.

The accessible toilets were another major issue. The facility requiring a key was very dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell. My child refused to go inside, so I wasn’t able to change their nappy, which was extremely stressful.

In comparison, we visited Paultons Park and even Alton Towers recently, and both were much cleaner and far more accommodating for SEN needs.

Overall, this experience was very disappointing. We ended up leaving without going on any rides. I wouldn’t recommend this for families with SEN children.

The worst day out I have ever…

The worst day out I have ever experienced. We took our 5 year old for his Christmas present and it cost our family over £160.00 plus parking. Signage was dreadful, staff were rude, toilets were dirty, food was very limited and cost a fortune and we didn't go on any rides due to the hour + waiting times, my five year old would never have stood in a queue for that long. The park overall is tired and everything that had a bearable queue cost a bomb like face painting for £15! Definitely will not be returning, total rip off.

We queued in traffic for a hour to actually get there. Then queued to enter and scan tickets. Then queued for the toilets. Then thought we’d head for a ride. Queue times all at least an hour, even very simple rides. No choice but to get in a queue. We left our hotel (13 min drive away) at 9:30 for opening at 10am. We first managed to go on a ride at 1:30pm. It was hot so we wanted an ice cream. Queue for this too. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unhappy, sometimes rude. Rides were underwhelming as were the shows. It’s not geared up for the amount of people visiting. Guess what? As we left, queues for the toilets then massive queue to drive out. Never again!

If you have time and money to waste and…

If you have time and money to waste and children to upset perhaps Legoland is the place for you.

I’ve visited a lot of theme parks across the uk and the experience had at Legoland easily tops the number 1 spot for worst experiences.

You can’t enjoy yourself here, you can barely move in the crowds of tourists, waiting times of between 1hr-100mins for main rides whilst smaller rides that you’d find at your local summer fair had waiting times of 45-1hour.

We waited twice for rides only to get to the front of the queue to be told they are closing the ride as it’s broken. Come back later! A total waste of two hours of our day.

£200 spent for a day trip for a family of 4 and a grand total of 5 rides went on. It’s simply not worth the money.

Staff were over worked, confused and lacking any kind of motivation. I asked staff near the performance area when the next show was and they had no idea, there were no times up on the notice boards so waiting for that seemed like a lost cause.

Everything felt rushed (quick we better get in line for something else so we actually get to experience a ride) rather than let’s enjoy the Lego figures, let’s see what’s in here. You just felt hounded to “get your moneys worth”

If getting a Rapid access pass is your thing (at a further cost of £80 per person) Then ok yeah sure some of the smaller rides you could jump on quickly but you’re still waiting 30-45 mins in the rapid access queue for the bigger rides. What’s the point? And remember you’ve already spent £200 to get in so why are you paying more for the privilege to use the services provided 🤷‍♀️

The children’s review of the place went as so “this is the worst place I’ve ever been” Eight year old daughter after being turned away from a broken down ride.

“I liked swimming at the hotel (hotel was not a Legoland hotel)” six year old son when asked what his favourite part of the weekend was.

Yeah don’t waste your money, spend it on something you’re going to enjoy and experience together as a family. Literally anywhere else would be better than a Merlin theme park

Too many people stops visitor enjoyment

We didn't realise the carpark was an extra £12.
Not many toilets compared to similar sized attractions we'd been to.
At least a 45min wait on most of the rides, which meant we didn't go on many. We downloaded the app to keep an eye on wait times, but they were all busy.
The main problem is there are far too many visitors for the park to cope with. There is the space for them but if you pay a hugh price you expect to be able to experience everything and not stand bored in queue all day. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or return.

Extremely disappointing and upsetting…

Extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at Legoland Windsor.

We visited as a group of 9, including two young children, expecting a fun family day — but it was completely ruined by the behaviour of staff.

A 4-year-old child in our group innocently approached a staff member and lightly touched them to say hello. The staff member reacted by raising his voice and saying “don’t touch me,” which immediately scared the child and made him upset. This was completely inappropriate given the situation.

When the child’s mother calmly addressed this, the situation escalated unnecessarily. A staff member (who appeared to be a manager) loudly stated “I will make sure you are removed” without any attempt to understand what had happened.

Security then arrived and handled the situation very aggressively. They threatened to remove the entire group and even call the police, which caused panic — especially as some members of our group do not speak English and didn’t understand what was happening. The children were also visibly distressed.

Despite attempts to calmly explain that this was a misunderstanding, security stated they “did not care” and forced the mother to leave.

She was left with no choice but to leave the park alone, separated from her 4-year-old child for the rest of the day to avoid causing further distress to him. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about how families are treated.

What should have been a special day turned into a stressful and upsetting experience for all of us.

Very poor handling, lack of professionalism, and no consideration for children or families. Deeply disappointed.
