Failed to turn up for the activity

In October 2014, I booked a Quad biking activity through Legend sailing who took a deposit and provided a confirmation and joining instrctions.

We travelled up to Loch Tay from West Yorkshire and stayed at Loch Tay Highland Lodges. This was a 700 mile round trip. At the time of the event, we arrived at the agreed location but no one turned up. Eventually, we contacted the person detailed on the joining instructions but he claimed to know nothing about the booking.

We therefore had a wasted journey. We asked Legend to return our deposit and contribute to our out of pocket expenses, but all they would offer is to provide a free activity 'next time we are in the area'

Don't ever trust them or book with them.
