OK I have mixed feelings here.

It claimed to be a dell original part. It is not.
It is from a .co.uk address and tries to look like its local, but the part is clearly shipped from China.
It took over 2 weeks to arrive.

However

When I contacted them about delayed delivery, they did respond (with a bit of a bs response but they still responded).
The part which arrived fitted perfectly.
This part is not available through retail channels at dell (though possibly through tech support).
The battery is showing up in the setup screen as being in excellent condition.

So all in all... not bad - I feel like I got a decent deal but could have done without being misled. If they said it wasn't an original part and was being shipped from China, this would have been a 5 star review.

Avoid at ALL COSTS.

Wish had seen this before not UK based.

Completely fake Chinese knock off company.

Such a shame as destroys the confidence in the many genuine Chinese companies

UPDATE:- had to raise a dispute with PayPal to get this resolved. PayPal organised a refund

I live in UK They don't respond to emails or messages about orders and my order came from CHINA. I wanted to return it through Paypal complaint PROCEDURE. Paypal told me that I had to return it to CHINA tracked. I told them that my contract was in UK but that didn't help either ....SO BEWARE. To this day have heard nothing from Laptopartstore.

They sold me a used battery as if it was new. I claimed it with PayPal and they made me pay for the postage to China eventhough they sent it from UK.

Fake 97kw battery for my XPS 15 9550. Font is different as well as the cable and performance is like 10 minutes after a week. Avoid at all costs. Could not return to china so lost my money. Paypal where useless at helping despite their so called protection.

I received the my dell precision 5510 laptop battery within three weeks. Posted using tracked delivery. The battery had the expected capacity, was the correct shape and worked without any problems. Even after the delivery the laptopartstore uk website shows 'Processing'. Best not to expect the tracking information to work. Personally, I was not bothered by this as others have reported similar problems while still receiving the order. Fingers crossed that the battery will continue to work for a long time. My original battery had a manufacturing defect.

pity i didnt read here before i ordered! took forever to arrive and even when i complained they just sent me back to the shipping number. meant to be in the uk but they aren't!

if there was a -star they'd be getting it. Stay away if you want over priced parts that take forever to arrive!

I have not purchased from them but did my research. Their address is not recognised in search results. When trying to Google Earth it, it was not recognised but the postcode and road name came up. However when I looked on street view, it is a residential area.

I like to see the shop/factory/premises of the company I buy from - I aint buying from them!
UPDATE: I purchased a battery from DURACELL DIRECT. A well known and reputable company - Yes, it cost more but I am happy at dealing with Duracell - I just fitted it and it works fine. Duracell gets 5 stars as far as I am concerned.

Same experience as other sellers.

First off, they are not a .CO.UK company so expect significant delays in getting your order.

The shipping tracking info doesn't work either so you have no clue when it will arrive.

When mine arrived the battery was not recognised in my Spectre laptop. Installing my original battery back in worked no problem.

When contacting the company they simply request for you to send it back to China! PAYPAL escalation is useless as they simply say send it back to China to get a refund via their very unprofessional pcadaptershop at gmail dot com

AVOID THIS COMPANY and spend a couple of extra quid on a genuine UK registered company.

I will of course be sending this defective unit back and uploading all of the proof to PayPal to at least try and get back some of the money wasted on this defective item.

Ordered battery for Samsung Note 10.1 2014 Edition (P600) 30th September. Arrived 17 days later which i suppose is about 3-10 business days.
It is not manufactured by Samsung as advertised and doesn't fit (about 20mm longer than battery I have removed), I have checked that I ordered the correct item and that they sent what I ordered. Not going to bother trying to send it back judging by the other reviews.
I have ordered one from the big bookshop that doesn't pretend to be genuine, just about gets above average reviews (unlike most), half the price and should arrive tomorrow.
Wish I had looked at Laptopartstore reviews before but the fact it was advertised as manufactured by Samsung clouded my judgement.

As stated by previous reviewers, they are not based in the UK even though they have a .co.uk website and UK postal address.
Had to chase item. Arrived. Was faulty. Paypal now mediating.
Requested to send item back to China at own cost.
Under Distance Selling reg. for faulty items cost of return must be paid for by seller.
What a headache!! Apart from the original order confirmation, the company has not replied to any emails and you can't call them. Their "pretend" chat does not work.
THEY NEED TAKING OFF THE INTERNET!!!

The company make out they are UK based , they state they source worldwide however this is not the issue if they were importing as a reputable company. The goods are fake,they are dangerous and the company will keep ignoring you after they have your money , i have had to get paypal look to sort this out but they will just tell you to post goods back to China at your own cost. Please please do not use this company you are just throwing your money away.

Regret not checking for reviews for this seller but didn't spot the signs until after I'd received notification of payment to indicate that the seller was in fact based in Hong Kong.

Received the part and have since identified the unit as a used/fake unit that has inconsistent labelling vs' the reported data (via Dell Battery Manger). How you have a manufacture date that is 3 years after the first used date is a bit of a mystery... Other clues such as bar-code, FRU numbers that don't match the labels all give it away...

Short version... Would not touch this company with a 500 foot barge pole...

Purchased a battery for a Dell XPS 15 9560 in April 2019. Emailed in May that it did not retain charge and requested refund. Supplier requested picture of battery and laptop. Emailed again requesting refund. No response. Would not recommend this supplier.

Dodgy Chinese company. Ordered two Dell items and cancelled the order after reading reviews, mostly negative. Still have not received a refund after almost 1 month. Avoid at all costs.

I wish there was an option to give zero stars, that is how bad this company is. i made a mistake buying from them. i ordered a battery from them 3 weeks ago, it was meant to arrive in a few days. i guess i have to wait till the end of time for it to arrive. i contacted them many times, same old reply but no results. if you don't want headache and anger and for your hard enerd money to be stolen, then do not buy from them.

Like others have said the order status has been sat at processing for over 2 weeks - no response via email so will now pursue a refund through paypal.

OK, so I've just deleted my previous review.

The battery turned up today, so did take longer than stated.

However, the battery itself is the same make and spec as the one that was in my late 2011 macbook pro. Made by SMP, which was the oem manufacturer at that time. All specs look correct and the same as the old battery (although this new one isn't goosed like the old one!).

On this basis I think I'd use them again, as my macbook Air also needs a new battery.
