Watch out if you order for Northern Ireland delivery. Larger items incur a courier charge of £7.95 + VAT, which is fine but what is not clear, in my opinion, is that if you live in Northern Ireland you will incur an additional courier charge of £20 on top of the larger item courier charge as the courier interestingly classes Northern Ireland as an 'export package'. To be fair to Martin at Lamps2udirect there is mention of a surcharge for NI in the T&C's but the extent of this (200%+) could be spelt out more clearly to avoid customers wasting their time.

Very easy web site to find exactly what I needed now that we’re replacing clockwork lighting with LED. Fast delivery and well packaged strip light bulb which had no chance of breakage in transit. First class, I’ll be back.

I’ve used lamps2udirect before. Their website is easy to navigate ( & I’m a wrinkly 😊). Prices are very competitive. I ordered 3 fluorescent lamps & unfortunately 1 was broken. I contacted customer service & spoke to Martin who was extremely apologetic, friendly & professional. He offered a replacement or refund. I requested a replacement & have received . Highly recommend this trustworthy company.

Ordered bulbs and then didnt hear from the company for 3 weeks , once i contacted paypal i got a refund , according to the company they were listing items they didnt have in stock, wasted my time.

Ordered 2 lamps for Christmas decorations, recieved an email saying they had been dispatched.
Still havent recieved the lamps yet.
Emailled the company for an update still no reply.

I bought a Philips 150 watt Infrared Heat Lamp Bulb model PAR38E from Lamps2udirect for physiotherapy but I received a no branding product. It absolutely couldn't be use for phsio treatment. It is totally unuseful, definitely a rubbish.

Quick and easy ordering process. No problems with delivery at all.

Ordered under cabinet lighting as advertised on the website - Robus Spear Rledstr4w 4 W 395mm Linkable Led Striplight. Despite this, they sent RLEDSTR4X-01 lighting for which the connections did not fit my existing fitting. They then tried to argue that they had supplied the correct part in spite of having photographic evidence to the contrary. It then took 2 weeks from us posting it back to get the refund. This refund did not include Lamps2U's postage and obviously I also had to pay the return postage. So, I am £10 out of pocket and have no functioning lights. I would have no dealings with this company. Avoid.
