Absolutely disgusting!

Absolutely disgusting!! They did a crap job of all our bathroom upgrades last year. I wouldn't even give them a one star, because they were totally rubbish workersand sloppy and nothing but a bunch of bloody cheap skates!!

3rd week of no kitchen facilities at all was contacted by pgh to replace my whole kitchen the kitchen itself was ripped out 3 weeks this Thursday, the following Monday electrician's came to wire the sockets which they placed behind where the kitchen units would be so wouldn't be able to use them once the kitchen was installed,Since then nothing at all, not 1 trademan has been to either fix the mess up or continue with work
I have 3 children 1 of which is type 1 diabetic i work for the nhs 11 houe shifts and have no cooker to cook on no sink to wash pot and no washer to clean clothes for myself and my children, i am spending a fortune on food and takeaways work was supposed to take 15 days and cooker reinstalled each night no 3rd week without a kitchen by the human inhabitants law of 2019 they have broken the law and my mental health is now being affected because i cannot care for my children the way i need to this is a disgrace.
There are no updates on when the work will start again. Not knowing is driving me mad
Booking holidays and sitting around and no one showing up
It's just unacceptable, to say the least.

I live on a housing estate in Ovenden

I live on a housing estate in Ovenden, Halifax, work is being done on our kitchens to update them, from day one, every one of the contractors that have entered my property have been polite and friendly, any enquiries I have made about what is to be done have been met with an answer, or they have found out if they didn't know.
All in all a great team of guys, who have come in and just got on with job, no messing

My housing association have contracted…

My housing association have contracted this firm to upgrade the heating systems .
After conducting an assessment of the property they made an appointment to I stall gets pumps , which I took time off work, to the. On the day have the appointment cancelled because they couldn't source any more heat pumps , (1). They then ask to come back and do another assessment as they would use a different method this time up to date storage heaters ( but they will be putting solar panels up so energy efficient to use). Again made an appointment which was cancelled at last min another day off work (2) . Eventually another appointment made and storage heaters Installed . A month later solar panels started to be put on the roofs ,. Cut a long story short a further 3 appointments have been made so they can connect the solar panels to my RCD. Latest on being today .. 3 further days off work loss of pay. 5 days In total. On 2 of the appointments engineer s arrived just to say cannot connect today's appointment engineers have not even arrived . Poor company full of false promise

Have acontract worth 40million with st…

Have acontract worth 40million with st ledger homes of doncaster because we want them to use solvent free tile adhesive and solvent free mastic refusing to carry out the work want to use there products which are cheaper u are contracted to do building work for st ledger and refusing to do it you are in breach of youre contract not fit to honoure youre contract

Work men were fittingly a Kitchen in flat below turned my garden into a tip until i said something to their supervisor nxt day,
Following morning they started banging ect @7:45 am
Told them there is a local bylaws no noise b4 8:30am.
So the response I got was them blasting their music while working for the next few days asked them to turn it down as I couldn't hear my tv
Got completely ignored,

Dont understand simple instructions....

Wont rearrange my boiler service when i've told them multiple times that the appointments they keep arranging without asking me first, ARE NOT CONVIENIENT. Maybe ask the customer first before you make appointments on their behalf. SHOCKING COMPANY.

Great service

I recently had a visit from 2 of Tomlinson’s employees, they came to fit some security equipment. From them arriving and putting on shoe covers to leaving after doing the work and cleaning up they were brilliant.
They explained everything to me in detail and got on with the job.

Phone last Saturday got guy out not…

Phone last Saturday got guy out not able to do work witch was understandable as was weekend phoned Monday there ordering parts tack 3/5 days the nothing phones Wednesday to see if any luck they said housing association would pay so they will order parts even tho they were ordered on Monday so ring Friday to be told they have not even picked up parts so would be Tuesday be for
They can come so no heating or hot water still and my partner is disabled on witch they no

I wouldn't even give one star

I wouldn't even give one star. They get trained to carryout maintainace checks however when it came to fixing my boiler they couldnt rule out the problem but yet their are engineers. The negligence and improper maintaince checks. Been sitting in the cold for a few days with a new born baby. Why get paid to do a job they cannot apply their skills to or what their trained to do? Professionally incompetent people wow .

Shocking H&S

Shocking health and safety practises!
They save a few minutes a day by keeping a ladder on the ground level, thereby giving direct access to the scaffolding to anyone!
Who needs a shoots when you can just throw tiles from the rooftop.
If the roof is put up following the same standards, don't both putting it up.

STAGGERING LEVELS OF INCOMPETENCE

This company are renovating the council houses either side of my house, they managed to completely ignore the party wall and extend the neighbours roof onto my non council house roof, they constantly denied it, and eventually after I threatened to sue them, they finally returned my roof to its original state.
However, in the process they managed to damage my roof, they are denying this, no surprise, and I’ve also spent the last five days with a
hole in my roof, it’s rained every day, and you won’t believe this, they are actually claiming that my roof is weatherproof despite the large area of sky that I can see from inside the loft hatch. Avoid at all costs, if it was possible to give a zero rating I would.

Best to avoid these completely and go elsewhere

The standard of work is among the worst I've ever seen. They downgraded my bathroom, although the local council determined the standard of the hardware. The work done is useless. The plumber had to come back to adjust the toilet, but hasn't fixed it down, the floor hasn't been stuck down, just sealant holding it down all round the floor, The painters couldn't quite reach the waist and knee height corners, so left them the old colour and their brushes couldn't quite reach the bottom of the door, or the bare plaster next to the fan. It took 2 of them on 2 different days to miss that lot. I say avoid at all costs. They're useless.

Terrible avoid at all cost if you want to stay warm waiting over 6 weeks for a radiator just keep bullshiting trying to tell my radiator is a special size I have plumbers in family can buy exact radiator from screw fix or tool station for under 60.00 they are terrible you wait in all day and they ring at 4.45 to tell you they are not coming on more than one occasion job was put in on a monday marked has urgent this was a leaking toilet came out Thursday night at 20.45 they are very poor

AVOID AT ALL COST

Left a vunerable man with no heating or hot water all day then due to their own failing pushed it onto Sunday.. Local housing association had to get involved and let slip they can't get through to them either for emergency call outs. Criminals right here. Turns out plenty of people have had similar and worse horror stories. Checkout Reddit. They have a reputation for leaving mother's with little babies in the cold for weeks.

Pathetic and useless. Enjoy inevitably going under. A business so badly run and widely untrusted won't last long.

Not happy at all..

Not happy at all... I have had no Hot water for a week now... the part that has been ordered should take 3 to 5 working days but I am being told Mon or Tues next week... I have 4 children and suffer with chronic pain and can't stand in the shower... my 2 year old hates the shower and it distresses him and I shouldn't have to put him through that but seems none of you care because you go home to hot water each night. Covid or not it can not be that difficult to get the part... all those employees and not one of you have the part 😒 I have had to do the chasing and it's not being dealt with urgently at all. Thanks for nothing

Delays after delays excuse aftet excuse

Works were due to start on my property last october and were delayad. Got told it would be January. Delayed again. Then got a letter saying 1st March. Also delayed. Then got told work will start today 8th March.. Today I got told all work on my street has been put on hold due to possible asbestos. Tomlinson have been to my house 3 times to do asbestos tests. Spoke to a neighbour who is also having work done and he wasn't aware of work being put on hold. I think TOmlinsons are just giving excuses after excuses

Dishonest Engineer Denies Causing Errors

One of their engineers caused errors to my washing machine during a boiler repair and is denying having ever touched it. It was off when he arrived and he left it in a bleeping and flashing state.

This engineer does not have the right to enter my home and touch my personal property, and in doing so alter its workings and then deny it.

Rest assured this will be pursued to the highest level. The longer it takes to resolve the more determined I will be to get justice.

If he tells the truth potential misunderstandings can be resolved and I get my washing machine back to its original state. If this is not the case, be prepared for this matter to end up in court!
