Well, turns out this app is basically a scam. They hijack affiliate links and revenue, and they only use the measly coupons/discounts that the company allows them to use. I had it installed for years before I found out about all of this, and it hasn't even ever gotten me any significant discount.

Beware of choosing honey by darkness of colour . Some producers put honey in darker coloured plastic jars.

Trustpilot is throttling 1-star reviews of this company, forcing people to leave 2-star reviews. But it is very much a 0-star company.

They inject cookies to steal commissions from content creators and provide no value to the user. They don't even show you the best discount; they take money from businesses to actively hide the best coupons so that you think "guess this is the best deal," and make the purchase.

Evil, unethnical practices.

They claim to scour the internet in search of the best discount codes do you don't have too. They don't. Also they haven't said anything in response to their fraud.

Very bad scam

In the 3+ years that I have had this extension, I can only remember 1 time that it found me a good discount. I have over 1800 honey points but Honey will not let me claim them for a gift card, all I keep getting is the follow after each 24 hour wait, "We wanted to let you know that we ran into a problem redeeming your points and they have been returned back to your account".

I have been using Honey for many years. It unfortunately is a system that earn money by taking over affiliate links. I redeemed 30EUR over the years. They even stopped redeeming bonuses onto Paypal accounts, just to make life more miserable for their customers. I took out the last 1000 points with Google Play coupon.

Literal Fraud, scams creators out of their commission, tries to control the market and blatantly lies to the consumers face about its practices, worst of all poaches small businesses and their lively hoods by giving out coupons not meant for the world to use.

Can't leave a 1 star review because even trustpilot is corrupt. Do. not. use. honey. Honey is an extension that scams the consumer and influencers with coupons that don't even work.

It's a scam. How can a company pay everyone to advertise their product and at the same time offer the best deals for consumers? That isn't a thing, instead you don't get offered the best deals available on any site across the internet and instead just what deals they want you to see. Avoid.

Very shady. These guys take affiliate income from YouTubers. Absolutely disgusting. Delete this from your browsers. I just did.

Trustpilot have teemed up with honey to delete 1 star reviews? since all of them get deleted. I have purchasedd many products using honey and their deceiving advertisement prevented me from useing discount code that was active at the time!

Discusting and horrible business practices. Perfect example of how scummy PayPal company uses deceiving practives to fund their business from creators and consumer pockets.
