Fast delivery, easy to order online, and pay

I purchased an e-bike from the Barnsley store, and the customer service was excellent. The advisers were knowledgeable, attentive and keen to ensure I found the right bike to fit my requirements.
I highly recommend this company.

I placed a specific order, nothing complicated and on their site it said two to three days delivery time.
Over a week later I received a completely wrong order.
When I contacted them they refused to correct my order or refund me.
The attitude on the phone call was belligerent and very unhelpful.
I will not be using them again.

I visited the Chesterfield store as I was interested in getting a Liv E Bike. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up buying a bike that day as I felt they gave honest advice regarding the bike itself and what type of lock was best (which wasn't the most expensive). No hard up-selling, which always puts me off. Sadly, I can't remember the names of the two staff members who helped me, but they were father and son. The bike was delivered on the day I asked for, and I got a phone call prior to check that they had the right delivery day. I would certainly use them again.

Bought 2 bikes from the rotherham store in last 3 weeks for me and my wife. Having been away from mtbs for best part of 15 years was amazed how things had moved on. On both occasions was given plenty of information to go and research and make my own mind up without feeling pressured. (Young lad served us forgot his name think he was out the workshop) was brilliant.

Wife's bike was ready day it was meant to be, unfortunately there was a slight mix up with mine and the wrong colour was built (no big deal were all human and they couldn't apologise enough). Day after when correct colour was ready also recieved a little freebie for the inconvenience which was a really nice touch.

Both daughters are ready for new bikes now and there's no doubt where il be going. Thanks again. (Im not one for leaving reviews but when the service is good they deserve it)

Just had a job done on my brompton which I am more than pleased with .....the brompton mechanic really knows his stuff
He took time out to chat and he is really knowledgeable on all aspects of bromptons ....I shall definitely use them again 5⭐️ service thank you 😊

Deliverd on time,arrived in the condition i expected

Phoned up to ask abouts parts of my bike.
Didnt let me finish my sentence before he started trying to correct me! Was asking if they had a part in stock and a question about a part to see if im about to purchase the right one. Got nothing but rudeness will not be spending my money here

I purchased a specialised Stumpjumper mountain bike but unfortunately had to return it as the rear shock appeared to be faulty. For a bike of this standard and reputation, that was really disappointing.
What made the situation worse was the cost of returning it — £150 in postage, which feels unreasonably high considering I was sending back a product that wasn’t working correctly. I’ve already been in touch with the company to request some reimbursement for this, as I don’t think customers should be left out of pocket when dealing with faults.
Overall, I’m disappointed with the experience. While the bike itself has a great reputation, the quality control and returns process need serious improvement.

Shocking delivery times. 12 days after placing my order I'm still waiting. I ordered items from China last week and they arrived in 5 days free of charge!

Is it any wonder UK companies are failing every day when service levels are this bad? If you care about your business folks you'll need to make significant change. I could have walked to Rotherham by now. Would have cycled......but I'm waiting on my part.

waited 10 days for a wheel part ,still nothing, tried to call them waited on hold for 45 minutes no answer
terrible service , cmon lads , you can do a whole lot better than that if you want to compete and survive.

Bought my new cube litening aero c68x race in Stealth black from Je James cycles, and first got to say I've had a good experience from purchase to delivery very quick in getting in touch with any question I had, I had a little issue on delivery but Matthew was very prompt in getting back to me and sorting my issue out, thanks again Matthew. Would definitely reccomend this company. Next ive got to say what a bike. I've had a lot of bikes in my cycling years and this is by far one of the best looking and fastest bikes I've ever had, every pedal stroke delivers so much power and you actually feel it going threw the bike, it is also very comfortsble and quiet on our rough brittish roads not one vibration noise. If you're after a fast, good looking and responsive bike look no further this is the bike for you. Just to add to my review I have now done 300km and climbd over 3000m the past 3 days on the new best and it is so fast just wants to keep on going, and on climbs it is the same such a fast bike. Bike needed some new parts and a general service . The price was very fair for the parts and work done . The mechanics know their beans and the bike came back cleaner than when I dropped it off aswell ! Would recommend
