Jaycotts Sewing Supplies Reviews 

I ordered several items on 11 May and when the package arrived 2 items were missing. I emailed and had no response. I emailed again a week later and still no response. I then posted them my invoice, a pattern I wanted to return and marked on the invoice the items that were missing and asked them to refund or send them on. That was over a week ago and still no response - not even an email to say they are dealing with it. I have now given up getting a refund or the missing items and I will not order from them again.

Update: Can't fault the customer service from Jaycotts so adding an extra star! They have offered a refund including return postage if required but also offered some information on sizing and how it might still be suitable!

Order arrived in OK time, especially regarding the current situation - but unfortunately the pattern has arrived in US sizes and not UK.

I ordered a dress pattern in sizes 6-14 as a gift for a woman who is size 8. There is no mention whatsoever of sizes being US sizes on the website, just a size guide with measurements (which I obviously couldn't get, it being a gift). I assumed it being from size 6 that she would be able to use the one best for her size when she comes to use it.

As the pattern is US sizes it's now almost certainly going to be too large for her (US 6 is UK 10) and her birthday is on Saturday. I'm not confident she is happy to adjust the patterns so it's going back.

Suggest Jaycotts amend their online details - if an item is in US sizes, just say so!

Order came super quick even though I was prepared for a long wait given the current difficult circumstances. I also loved that they included an appropriate substitute for an item that was not in stock. Brilliant all round. Thank you very much.

I ordered the wrong foot for my sewing machine as I didn't know which foot I needed, and they helped me find the right one, refunded me for the difference and exchanged it for me, all during the pandemic. I spoke to Alex, who explained the difference between the feet to me and sorted it all out. Really polite conversation and excellent service.

Jaycotts are amazing! Due to these strange virus-impacted times, I'd braced myself for a couple of weeks without a light on my sewing machine, but Jaycotts delivered in just five days. Thank you! Now...back to making scrubs bags for our amazing health and care workers.

Very rapid service despite a reasonable warning that deliveries are taking a bit longer than usual at the moment. Not only that, but I was delighted to see that the packaging used was recycled, recyclable and minimal. This is very important to me and I hope to other crafters too. I visit Jaycotts quite regularly as I live in the Chester area and always find that their customer service is really excellent. They take time to explain how the different machines work and offer sound and genuine advice. I have also found their after sales service is first class and again, nothing is too much trouble for them. I would happily recommend them to anyone interested in anything connected with sewing, be it buying machines, materials or any haberdashery items.

My order for fusible fleece was placed just after lunchtime this Monday and it arrived before lunchtime Tuesday. And that was by first class mail for a delivery charge of only £1.50. That's what I call outstanding customer service. Thank you Jaycotts.

For anything haberdashery, Jaycott's is where to go. Get their paper catalogue - full of stuff you need and stuff you didn't know existed - but need, immediately! All top quality. Always super-fast delivery, with the help of Royal Mail in the UK and all at very reasonable post/packing rate - £1.50 for 1st Class, or free for over £25 order. I love 'em and I don't do gushing compliments as a rule.
