Quick, easy accurate.

It was quick and easy to get the Shinkansen tickets. We had some problems with the Visa cards, but that must have been a bank issue.

The whole purchasing amd usage experience was easy. We purchased our 7 day Japan Rail Pass early, well before our trip and it was sent via FedEx to our home. After arriving at Tokyo station we transferred it over and they give you a qr code ticket used to purchase tickets. For us it was well worth it. We home based in Tokyo and took day trips daily and ended up visiting Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Akita and Nara. Booking those separately on the shinkensen would have cost us way more. Also, in some cities it covered buses and light rail trains. It made getting around japan so much easier.

Everything worked fine with delivery of wifi hotspot. It was delivered to our hotel with a good deception how to serve it back. Minus one start because of the hotspot itself. Even in Tokyo with best connection the internet was quite often extremely slow. I was not even able to browse the internet

The pass worked as advertised. Of course, many of us Americans are not accustomed to using public transportation, so there were some minor problems. Changing train lines and sometimes even terminals is confusing; Tokyo is notorious for this because there are several different train lines under separate ownership. The longer distance Shinkansen trains were great and worked much better if you went to the JR office in advance for a reservation. You could travel pretty much anytime in an unreserved car but you may not get a seat. They would only have 2-3 cars on an 8-12 car train for unreserved seats. The pass is fairly expensive, so potential buyers really should use the JR calculator to input their travel plans to see if it is worth buying.

Great advertisement and rates on products. Easy to order off the website -- I ordered Kansai area pass, Kansai-Hiroshima pass and the pocket wi-fi. No issues whatsoever. Directions were clear and easy to follow for foreigners, pick up and drop off for pocket wi-fi was simple and easy and even came with an extra charging block, charger and usb cable in case we needed it!
