withdrawals on this exchange are the worst I have ever come across, it takes days of back and fort communication to get even the smallest of withdraws happening. This has been happening for years and today it isn't any better, very time consuming

Warning This Exchange Is a Scam and Stole My Money
This company is a complete scam. They tricked me into depositing money and buying fake Bitcoin that I later discovered I could not use, transfer, or withdraw normally. After taking my money, they claimed the only option was to convert everything back to cash while charging me over $1,000 in outrageous “fees.”
Every time I questioned them, they hid behind fake excuses about “security” and “keeping me safe.” In reality, it felt like they were deliberately blocking access to my funds so they could take more money from me.
I strongly believe this operation is fraudulent and designed to trap people into paying endless fees with no real control over their assets. Stay far away from this company unless you want to risk losing your money.
I will be filing complaints with the relevant authorities and exploring legal action.

Independent Reserve – Major Red Flag
Tried to withdraw crypto to my own wallet (standard practice), answered all their questions clearly—and they still blocked my ability to withdraw crypto entirely.
No clear justification, just vague “safety” reasons.
So effectively:
You can deposit, trade, but may not be able to withdraw your crypto.
That’s a serious concern for anyone who values control over their own funds.
Lost trust completely and withdrawing everything.

They still want to control the way you want to use your money in your IR account. They do not like you withdrawing crypto into you own personal wallet and they stall your crypto withdrawals.
They have put restrictions on my account and I cannot withdraw crypto now.

App is useless
The app won’t allow me to login even though I have turned off my Authenticator code which wasn’t working. I turned off Authenticator after trying to regenerate it, with no success. Now app is unusable and there is little to no online assistance.
