Well, what can I say. Everyone i have come into contact with at imdt are so helpful and are on hand to help you succeed! I have successfully completed multiple course along with the 2 dayer online and 4 dayer was amazing i didnt want to go home i had so much fun (i didnt take a dog). I had my assessment in November nervous is an understatement but the assessor made me feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. My only thing with the assessment is I wish we had more time for the rescue part of the assessment possibly make that part 30 minutes (the time changed from 20mins to 30mins for the video) thank you!

If I could give the IMDT 100 stars, I would. After doing the 2 and 4 day dog trainer course, the real life skills I’ve been able to put into my work have been invaluable. The instructors’ (special thanks to Muss and Alun who taught me !) knowledge, enthusiasm and encouragement is amazing. Reading books by Steve Mann has also been so eye opening and helpful. I’m taking my exam in a few weeks and I’m beyond excited! If you’re considering taking any of these courses for any reason, DO IT!

Just finished a 2-day Career as a Dog Trainer course with IMDT, instructed by the great Mustafa Ozmus. A great course! Can recommend to anyone with a serious interest in dog training. I personally am just dipping my toe in the world, learning as much as I can and this course for sure whet my appetite towards actually considering following through with further studies!

I have 'experienced' several courses and an assessment with the IMDT over the last few years and have been extremely satisfied with all aspects.

I had an excellent experience with IMDT, which provides outstanding information for those looking to pursue a career in dog training and gain a qualification. It really helped me understand the impact of different training methods for various exercises. The course also emphasizes how to properly motivate a dog to want to work and engage with us. In a world full of short videos on various training techniques, IMDT helps you figure out which methods will actually be effective and suitable for training your own dog or your clients' dogs. I recently attended a 4-day practical dog training course and a 2-day theory course, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! The experience was incredibly enriching, and I left with a much deeper understanding of dog behavior and training techniques.

The theory course provided a solid foundation, explaining the science behind canine behavior in an accessible and engaging way. It covered everything from body language and communication to understanding the motivations behind different behaviors. I found the information invaluable for building a better relationship with my dog.

The practical sessions were equally fantastic. They offered hands-on opportunities to apply what we learned, focusing on real-world scenarios and effective, humane training methods. The trainers were knowledgeable, approachable, and provided tailored feedback, ensuring everyone could progress at their own pace.

The course was easy to access, easy to follow and all from the comfort of your own home. The information on the course was really useful, knowledgeable and relevant.

I have completed three courses with IMDT and found them excellent. Trainers are extremely knowledgeable, equipped to answer any questions, and the course content has the right amount of detail and scope. I've booked three more courses. Highly recommend!

My experience with IMDT has been absolutely appalling. I had to cancel a course due to an extremely difficult personal situation, and their handling of my refund has been nothing short of disgraceful. Despite cancelling well within the 14-day cooling-off period, I am still waiting for my money, and their complete lack of professionalism is astounding.

I have had to chase them over and over again, which is unacceptable and deeply disrespectful, especially given the personal circumstances I’m facing. A reputable company would handle such matters with compassion and efficiency, but IMDT has shown they care more about taking money than about supporting their customers.

The course was due to start this weekend, but I cancelled well in advance and within the legal timeframe, so there is absolutely no justification for delays or deductions. Yet here I am, still waiting, with zero communication or resolution from them.

This company has shown itself to be unreliable, unsympathetic, and unprofessional at every turn. They have caused me needless stress during an already challenging time, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer well clear of them. IMDT cares about one thing only: your money.

Another outstanding course from IMDT !

I didn't expect too much from a dog walking course tbh, but this blew my expectations right out of the water.
Touching on so many things, from planning, safety, psychology and business strategies, this really delivered.
I've done much with IMDT over the years, but this was absolutely sensational.
I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Brilliant course - a great chance to try out your skills with a range of dogs and compare notes with other knowledgeable people. The trainer was fantastic - perfect balance of support and instruction, with a daily dose of good humour thrown in for good measure. Would highly recommend.

It was a real privilege to work at Cheltenham Animal Rescue and to have a small part in helping these dogs move forward to finding a home. There were a range of behaviours and breeds that we dealt with making it interesting and challenging but we were supported throughout.

Going back to basics is a must! I've been a dog walker for 7 years and although the dog boarding stopped a few years ago, I feel it's put me in good stead to adapt and make changes within the business. The 'Professional Dog Walker' course covered all aspects that need to be highlighted and the most important thing is the wellbeing and welfare of our doggo family. Thank you David, Nancy & IMDT :-)

I am studying with IMDT for quite some time now and they are very helpful and supportive. The support they give is Continuous. Everything is explained very well and they are always there to help with any questions.

On the 25th of October I purchased a webinar on the IMDT website. I was very excited about it. I got through the checkout and at the end it requested that i create an account, which I did.
I received the confirmation email and certifcate to the correct address and tried to log in. But it did not work.
I contacted customer service to ask for help but the person that answered me was very unhelpful and it felt like she did not read my message. Her answers were generic and useless: "can you please check you're not leaving a space before or after you type it in please" (referring to my login username).

I managed to understand (by myself) that a bug happened on the website and that my account was not registered so I dealt with that (by myself).

BUT now, my purchases are nowhere to be found. I bought something and because of an issue out of my control I cannot acces it.

I contacted customer service again explaining that the website did not register my purchases and that I cannot access them. "If you log onto your IMDT account and in Your Orders your webinars will be in there for you" is the answer I received.
After sending proof that the webinars were not on my account, calling (and no one answering the phone, no matter the day and time), leaving a message with my number and 4 days, I still have no update. Not even a "sorry we are working on the issue". Nothing.
I have read every email again and again to see if there was something I had missed and looked all over the website.

Now I would like a full refund and I am making it public because I don't know how to get an answer anymore.
