Avoid at all costs. If you are unfortunate enough to have an accident they automatically direct you straight to a solicitor, not the insurance underwriter which could end up yourself paying thousands of pounds in solicitors fees and hire /repair costs

I took out a new policy with iGO4 and…
I took out a new policy with iGO4 and made a mistake with the details (completely my own fault) and received an email from them that my policy would be increasing by over 100% as I missed a non fault accident from the policy (again completely my fault)
I let them know the details which they disputed, and so on day 1 of my policy I cancelled - well within the 14d cooling off period. I had already paid the first month of the policy, so was expecting a part refund as my 1d insurance was around £5 as per their email. Imagine my shock when I was then hit with a further bill of £16 as there were £65 on “additional charges” for my policy (no doubt hidden in the small print somewhere)
Unreal that I’ve been charged over £70 for a single day.
My issue for missing the non fault non claim accident on the policy originally, but when cancelling a policy, beware of “additional charges” that they will apply, even in the 14d cooling off period. Won’t ever be using them again.

I understand that you made an error on your policy details which resulted in a significant premium increase. You then took the appropriate step of canceling the policy within the 14-day cooling-off period and were expecting a partial refund as your cover lasted just one day.
Typically, for cancellations within the cooling-off period, you should receive a refund minus the cost of the days you have been covered and our service fee which is non refundable. If the initial premium paid doesn't cover these costs we will write out to you to confirm.
