Zac at ICE has been fantastic. We had a near and serious issue with heating oil in a septic tank and kerosine fumes backing into our home, despite 5/6 houses having air source heating. Zac gave so much time to explain and chat about what could be the issue and the possible costs and advise on steps to take. Luckily we didn’t need the service as the issue has gone and been dealt with. The costs wojld have been life ruining but Zac was very kind and supporting through the whole process and very patient. We’ve kept ICE cleanings details in our resident management file (hopefully won’t need it for horrendous issues) but highly recommend them as they are incredibly knowledgable, kind and all round good company for any of their services. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND ANY COMPANY LISTED TO IT'S DIRECTOR AT ALL COSTS.

They attended a chemical leak on board a trailer and would not conduct the clean until payment had been made in advance. When the clean dragged to a second day they would not attend until a second payment was made in advance. The cargo and trailer were "cleaned" but we asked for evidencing photographs to start the claim against the cargo that caused the leak. Needles to say photo's did not arrive and we were told they would be included in the report. We were told the cargo had been cleaned and fit for delivery but it transpired the cargo was left soaking wet and unable to be accepted by the customer. We chased for months for the report, only to be told by their staff we would need to speak to the director, who would not take our calls and would not respond to email. We were then told that the company had gone into liquidation but the report should still be available and again needed to speak to the director, who would still not take any calls to the land line and his staff would not provide his mobile number. They still appear to be providing the same "services" using ICE Media Group Ltd. Our company is left with a huge cost paid to this organisation and significant cargo claims because we have been unable to provide the report for the "services" they provided.

We hired ICE for mould remediation after discovering black mould inside the cavity of our bathroom wall. Monty was a gem and worked tirelessly to fix this for us (with reinforcements from Greg!). He kept us informed and reassured us at every stage. We’re so grateful to Monty for making what was a very stressful situation feel more manageable. Thank you!

A Disaster from Start to Finish
If you’re looking for frustration, incompetence, and a masterclass in how not to run a business, Ice Cleaning is the company for you.

We hired them to clean up an oil spill in our car park. They quoted one price, turned up late with their “team” consisting of one man, and then almost doubled the cost on arrival. Against our better judgment, we let them proceed — only to watch them make the situation dramatically worse.

I told them to stop before causing further damage to the surface of our car park - then the true nightmare of dealing with this company began. They later admitted they’d caused damage, then promptly went silent — no apology, no refund, no response to our emails.

Hiring Ice Cleaning was worse than throwing money down the drain. At least the drain doesn’t leave you with a wrecked surface and weeks of chasing emails into a void. We had to pay another company to undo their mess.

In short: avoid Ice Cleaning at all costs. Unprofessional, unreliable, and utterly incapable of taking responsibility for their own work.

I had a lot of issues with damp in the past . I decided to check my flat properly. I spent my LCRWA backpayment. I had to chase them after 2 weeks for the report. My appointment was booked on Monday 22,but when I called them that morning I was informed it was actually booked for the following day. My flat does look good now but there are areas where I suspected mold or damp problems . I ended up finding it myself after paying a proffesional company over £500 pounds. I wasn't explained anything about air samples so no idea what those mean. I had a strong feeling that all of the check was very biased based on appearance of my flat. I am dissapointed because I just waisted all that money for no results at all. I was also offered to have my air at home cleaned. How is that a solution to the hidden damp/ mold creating that toxic air all the time ,not sure ....

The contract is written in a way that doesn’t clearly guarantee the amount or quality of work that will be done. The first team seemed to take their time. The second team didn’t even have a steamer, despite us clearly stating that we needed a deep clean for an industrial kitchen.
We provided pictures of the kitchen before receiving the quote, which we accepted, but because the contract said if additional work will be required it’s extra charge we can’t do anything now after paying £1400+ VAT and having maybe 20% of kitchen cleaned, not even one item in the kitchen was fully cleaned.

I strongly recommend insisting on detailed terms and a clear guarantee of what will be done. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had, it felt like we completely wasted our time and money

Started 2 hours and 20 minutes late.
Although they still did almost the 8 hours that were agreed, it was a big inconvenience for me as I had expected to leave by 4pm.

They hadn't been given the full information as per my booking, so my expectations were not the same as theirs.

However, they still ensured that the white goods were moved, even though it was a hard job.

Matt and Liam did their best to do what I needed, although Liam wasn't able to help with the clearing of the actual rooms, but carried the rubbish to the van.
I appreciated their understanding with my emotions.

Ben and his Team did a fantastic job clearing and cleaning my late Aunt’s home. They were incredible helpful and respectful and all my family was amazed with how clean ICE managed to get her house. 5/5 I would definitely recommend if anyone ever needs to clear a hoarders home.

turned up immediately took our £10k but now trying to claim back through our insurer they don't want to know - trying to get reports is impossible, emails and telephone calls no one gets back to you - we've had to get another co involved and its proved a lot of the works charged for were not carried out

Liam and Ben were on time. They were super friendly and explained the whole process for me and asked if I had any questions. They also kept me updated during the removal and showed me the samples they took. Very happy with the service.
