I’ve been with iCar for several years now, although I’ve never needed to claim, I do feel confident that all would be fine if a claim did come up.
Their information is very clear and easily understood – many hire companies near enough insist that you take out their excess cover at the counter, making out that you’ll be up the creek without a paddle otherwise… I listen to them politely and then tell them that I’ll be just fine with my iCar policy.
I don’t have autorenewal set up, so every year I receive a gentle reminder via email that the renewal date is coming up, other than that, I receive little to no other mail from them.
This year, my renewal was down by a fiver, brilliant.
Excellent service, great to deal with.

Used the web site to purchase Excess Worldwide Annual insurance. Very easy to use to order and pay for insurance policy.
Only issue was the email sent with Certificate of Insurance and insurance product information went into my spam mail, even though other emails sent did not.

Easy and quick to get a quote, and one that is very competitive for price in the market. I've (thankfully) not yet have to deal with an insurance claim to find out what the actual service is like though.

A reminder came through Monday, policy explained and processed.
No problems.
This is normal for this company.

Hard to understand the Indian receptionist who did not speak with clarity and punctuation as a native English speaker.
