I’ve had excellent service with Htc working on my concerns the last two days. I’ve been with the company for 30 years and I would recommend family and friends to Htc company. Big thank to Jerry- APS/... See more

Sent my phone for repair before as my microphone died. Got it repaired, however, there was a constant echo on the other side of the line (had to constantly carry around headphones to overcome this). Did enquire to get my phone repaired again but after the previous experience (took 1 and a half months) I just gave up.
Recently -my HTC 10 became unusable and constantly restarted when my battery reached 30% (mind you I was charging my phone 3 times a day as the battery had deteriorated terribly) and refused to stop restarting till I plugged my charger.
Contacted HTC and they were kind enough to escalate my repair (after I chased up 3 times to organise the repair). Send my phone to finally get repaired (they have a repair centre in Poland oddly enough?). Got an email a few days later telling me that in order to fix my in-warranty phone repair, my out of warranty issue would need to be attended to and I had to pay £150.
My screen had a scuff mark and in order to fix my battery, I had to pay to get my screen replaced. EVEN THOUGH ALL I NEEDED WAS A NEW F**KIN' BATTERY and no one was asked to take a look at my screen. However, they are refusing to look at my in-warranty repairs unless I paid them :) and if I did not want to pay them to fix my in-warranty repair, I still have to pay (£30 for administration and shipping costs) to get my phone returned to me.
A long time user since the HTC Desire who will not be buying another HTC again :):):).

Fraudulent
I sent my phone, HTC 10 for repairs since 12th December, they sent me a quotation charging me for sim tray and sd tray which they asked me to remove when sending phone again even when it wasn’t part of the repairs agreed on. I paid it just to quicken the process so as to get my phone back as soon as possible. After paying the total price on the quotation which was more costly that getting a new one of the same model, HTC repair center returned my phone on 30th January without repairing it and never refunded my money. I called and sent a mail to customer service but they kept tossing me around.
The Good, the bad and the ugly.
Where do I start. I love my HTC 10 most suited Android phone for me. Love low lighting camera, htc sense etc perfect mix up. However since my phone passed 1 years old last August I've had nothing but problems. The phones been repaired 3 times and still faulty and htc refuse to replace as per consumer rights act they should be replacing or refunding the phone. Also they are trying to say for phone is out of warranty. (in the UK they advertise 2 years warranty (phones not even been on the market 2 years) as far as I can make out the first repair was for the motherboard and sim tray, second repair was for the screen, third repair for the motherboard and sin tray again. Each time they've dismissed the battery condition which has been awful since the first fault it got stuck in a boot loop and heated up like a hot potato and there was no way to stop it except allow it to drain the battery. I'm still arguing with HTC over the warranty period they are claiming is one year. They've also told me such repair has a 3 month warranty. The last repair was less than 3 months ago. Terrible customer service always 'escalating' but never any resolution from this. The problem is the only new phone on the market I like is the U11 but I don't want to be stuck with HTC again!
Just like the thousands of complaints …
Just like the thousands of complaints I've read, this company won't stand by their products and provides software which, in our case, destroyed the phone!!
The "tech" assistance is totally worthless as they each contradict each other. Obviously, none of them know how to troubleshoot anything!!
the phones are overpriced and totally unreliable so I would suggest Samsung, Motorola or virtually ANYONE ELSE!!!
Horrible company
Horrible company. They do not stand by their customers or their products. I have been getting the run around on a phone repair for ver three months. Now I am in a blizzard with no phone and still they cant give me a straight answer. Worst phone company.
Absolutely poor customer service
Absolutely poor customer service, in breach of my rights when I told them, they did not even care. Luckily I reported the incident to my credit card company who perused it for me and also agreed HTC broke the law. 4 months later I get a refund notice from them. Will never buy any of their products ever again, even sold my 6 month old HTC one for less than half price.
I have my phone for support with HTC …
I have my phone for support with HTC since August 2017 and it's end of December 2017. I still don't have the phone nor they update me if they have my phone or not. Every time I call them they kept telling me it's in repair and they have no update. Of they don't have update then they must be just using my phone or they lost it which they don't want to be responsible for. This is the worst support I have ever had from anyone. They don't to call you back. I would not recommend ever to send your phone for repair to them. Go to local shop and pay bit extra and get it repaired.
5 stars for the phone itself.
5 stars for the phone itself.
Zero stars for after sales service.
HTC UK are appalling on so many levels. My U11 developed a USB-C port fault after a few weeks. I had to send it back 3 times and be without it for over 6 weeks until I finally got a replacement (after demanding it, because within their rules the 3rd time you send a device back with the same fault they will replace it). Worst customer service I have received in years.
Continuing the appalling communication, they do not reply to customers via their facebook or twitter pages. Oreo update was sent out in Taiwan over a month ago, delivered in USA 3 weeks ago, but not even the slightest whisper of communication in the UK, no rough timescale, no "sorry guys, it's taking longer than we thought, don't expect it for at least another month", nothing. Just a little honesty might be nice.
At the end of the day, they appear to be just a bad franchise who aren't actually making the product, just making money from it, and not even doing that well.
Excellent phones
Excellent phones (hardware and software). Service here in Sweden is OK but not brilliant. About the same level as all the other phone manufacturers.
Worst service I ever had
Worst service I ever had - got charged USD 50 for a shipment which was free when I ordered but they bill it to you when you return their product. Plus shipment to return is at you own cost. Better stick to Samsung and Apple - been quite a lesson for me - very poor customer service on top of that
F- service
F-
Terrible company. You will be sent to Phillipines call center where you will only receive interference and stall tactics. I was told on the front end 7-10 business days. Now I am at 23 days and after many hours of complaining all you talk to is low level or low level customer service that have no communication with the actual repair center. All they can do is check a database with updates. When there are no updates they just deceive by saying that we are awaiting tracking number for return...which means nothing. It doesn't mean the repair center has even looked at the phone. They say same deceptive lies to make you think something is being done when it isn't.
Absolutely awful customer service; left without a response or notification for four months and counting.
If I could select anything less than a star, I would. I pre-ordered the HTC U11 and to my dismay, I cracked the screen within just a few weeks of owning the phone. Due to the fact that I was at a summer college camp, I had to wait about a month before I had the opportunity of sending my phone to an HTC repair center. The process to create a ticket for the repair was simple enough: chat online with a representative, and they provide you with the address of the repair center you ship the device yourself based on their given instructions. Little did I know that I was about to subject myself to months of frustration and poor customer service. I was told that the entire process would take about a month at most with my repaired phone arriving at my doorstep at the end of the process. Boy were they wrong. After two weeks, I called their US customer service division to see how the repair process was progressing. They never gave me a straight answer and kept looping me around the fact that despite the fact my device was confirmed to be delivered by FedEx tracking, they still hadn't received or logged the device within their system. Frustrated, I decided to give them a few weeks or so to collect themselves. At the end of the promised one month period, I called them once again and they said they "received the device" but failed to provide me with any proof of that statement. They told me not to worry and once again, gave me a loop around answer and sent me to their "escalation department" or whatever the heck that is. All it seemed like was a glorified customer rep to send someone to provide the false sense that something is being done about their device. I created the repair ticket in August. It's now mid-November, and I still have no response about the location of the device I sent out nor have I received any emails regarding the ticket. HTC is an awful company who cares little about their customers. What is someone supposed to do if they don't have any backup devices? This has been by far the worst hell I've been subjected to in my life.
Only reason they are receiving one star …
Only reason they are receiving one star is because I had to select at least one star. I received an HTC 10 from this company. The phone was great for all of a week. The battery life started dying quickly, my phone calls were dropped, the phone shut down MULTIPLE times a day due to system error. I asked for support and was given multiple ways to fix it that never worked. One included downloading a program to my computer which slowed the performance of the phone. I was told that would "for sure" fix it. After 5 weeks I asked to just return the phone. They told me it was after 30 days and I could not do that. HTC offered my a swap option; they would send me a brand new phone and I would send back my old phone. I checked in weekly with HTC saying they didn't have an update and were delayed due to the store. After 6 weeks of waiting without ANY information, someone finally found out the phone was on back order! I never received a notification the phone was shipped to me or came in. The phone showed up one day without warning and sat on my door step in very cold weather for 5 hours. I received the phone after 3 month. Customer service was to helpful and would very rarely respond even on live chats. I would never buy HTC again!
I sent my device to them as it was …
I sent my device to them as it was repeatedly re booting. Theybhabe had my phone for 6 weeks now. They have not contacted me once in this period and after I spoke to them they have said the phone is damaged and I have to pay for the repair. They are a joke and a disgrace.
I have been a loyal customer of HTC …
I have been a loyal customer of HTC since 2007.
Having spent thousands of pounds on new devices I naturally purchased the new U11.
Initially impressed with the device I considered myself a happy customer however, a couple of weeks into ownership I was in a car (as a passenger) and I dropped the handset which banged on the central handbrake area.
The fall can't have been more than 1 foot high alas, my screen cracked.
Over the next week through general use the crack developed further and I opted to send the handset into HTC UK for repair.
A few days later I received an estimate for just shy of £300.
Notwithstanding the very high tag for replacing a screen that in my opinion should never have broken were it manufactured correctly, I opted to go ahead.
Three weeks later I have yet to receive my repaired handset.
The repair status online states 'in repair'.
I have managed to escalate the issue and on the few occasions that I managed to get through to HTC (with consideration to the several times I have been hung up on (or cut off) and have been advised that they have run out of stock.
Clearly this seems to be an issue with the U11. Who would have thought an all glass phone could present such problems.
Again notwithstanding, I asked how difficult it could be to receive spare parts for handsets, after all I order peripherals from all over the world and they arrive in a few days; not the three weeks I have been without a phone thus far.
Finally I asked if HTC would be able to supply a replacement handset. I stipulated that it did not need to be new, just of similar age and condition.
HTC declined my request and still have not been able to advise me when I might expect a repaired item.
On the back of this poor service and overpriced under-manufactured handset, I will no longer be purchasing HTC devices.
I work in the finance industry and will be happy to share my views with all the HTC investors, let’s see if they improve their customer treatment and manufacturer quality moving forward.
AVOID HTC AT ALL COSTS.
AVOID HTC AT ALL COSTS.
Sent my phone to the repair center to get a faulty charger port repaired under warranty. When the phone was returned there was a fault with the touchscreen (unresponsive) my phone was then returned to HTC. I received an email notifying me my phone was repaired and will be returned by UPS. This did not happen as HTC lost my phone and was finally returned 4 weeks later. Turned the phone on and still had the same issue. Before I returned it again I cracked the screen which I accept full responsibility for and I am happy to pay for a replacement screen but HTC is trying to charge me £412 and are refusing to accept responsibility for the damage they caused
The HTC is not a cheap phone
The HTC is not a cheap phone, but it will only work properly for 2 years and not a day beyond that. A 600 dollar phone HTC does not feel should work for much longer.
looking back it was not a good deal.
HTC er ikke en billig Telefon, men den virker kun optimalt i 2 år og ikke en månede mere.
