I have used hotels.com for several years with no problems. I booked a property in Palm Springs that turned out to be an unsafe, dirty dump, sub-standard not up to code small boutique hotel. Pictures/description did not match the property when I arrived. I never spent the night as it was uninhabitable. Hotelstonight.com refuses to refund $ even though the pictures show a broken shower door, no smoke detector, no hood range over the stove. Foil under the heating elements on the stove=fire hazard etc.
Property "A place in the Sun" still on the website=slum lords.

I searched a hotel in Cranberry, PA and under the list for Cranberry, PA, they showed me a hotel that was at a good price. So I booked it then after I booked it, I realized that it was 1 hour and 15 minutes away. They won't refund the money for the reservation.

Have used them a handful of times and all went as promised. Booked a hotel
in Ohio and upon arrival they had no information about our reservation. Called Hoteltonight and they called
the hotel to resolve the situation. (The hotel had given our room to someone else). The person I talked to at Hoteltonight stayed on the phone with me until we had a room.

They list the hotel saying "Breakfast included" in the title while the fare does not include breakfast. Ended up refunding the pricing for 1 person's breakfast while the booking was for 2. The listing with the false advertisement is still on.

Haven't completed my stay yet but the booking process was fairly smooth and efficient, called the hotel just to confirm my reservation and they had it!

Do not use them! Made a reservation 3 months in advance but when arrived at hotel they did not have it! Its Mardi Gras season and we were lucky we were able to even find another hotel.

Paid for reservation and they took the money but when we got to the hotel they had no reservation.. the hotel were very helpful ,will never use the app again

Buyer beware!!! Terrible service do not book with these people I promise you will regret it.. they will lie and say they will call you back but they never did and I called back and they wouldn’t let me talk to a supervisor.. save yourself some trouble and don’t use hotels tonight

Never use this App. They steal your money and issue credits with a lot of restrictions. I lost 130 dollars because of their poor customer service. I will never use again

I booked a room in November and in the app I selected a 2 bed room. Even have a screenshot of the final screen before clicking pay, this was to share with a friend I’m splitting it with. Room was booked. When we check in they only have a 1 bed room. Turns out HotelTonight booked me a 1 bed room instead of what I selected. If you do use them which I suggest you don’t, check your confirmation email immediately as this can be different from what you booked. Their customer service offered a $25 credit for the trouble as I would need to book another room $700+ to get a second bed. I sent them my screenshot proof of the 2 beds selected and they claim I could have just did this today and screenshot it. The hotel doesn’t have 2 beds available the day of Check in and the price would be different, so how is that? Also sent them a screen record of my conversation with my friend in November with the screenshot showing the totals and 2 beds. Horrible experience. Don’t use a service like this, you think you might be saving but you’ll end up paying way more in frustration.

Made a reservation an hour or two before checking into Nashville Super 8 for $153
Got there, hotel has policy to give 100 cash at window as a " deposit". Soon was apparent why
Room had blood on walls and sink full of cigarettes.
Went downstairs and guy gave me 100 back after viewing room
Spent over an hour on phone w Hotels Tonight and they finally make a big deal out of they are cancelling w no penalties and $ credited to Hotel Tonight Account and will come off reservation for different hotel
Didnt want to argue so booked Hampton in Nashville for $276

Was charged on my credit card in full for both reservations, the $153 did not come off 2nd reservation as promised.
Now on phone approaching an hour with nice lady who is English challenged arguing they need to refund as I dont want $153 in Hotel Tonight account as will NEVER USE AGAIN

They are letting hotels use them to trap costumers. They would use perfect picture on their website and app but once you booked room, it has nothing to do with the pictures. Absolutely horrible and a Trap. I spend 10 hrs to get help cancellation and they did not helped me. No cancellations or refund. It’s Catfish/ scam. Do not trust the pictures. Zero help or solution.

I got a great deal at a hotel in San Francisco. I enjoyed my booking experience - super fast on the mobile app. The hotel was as expected. I will book again.

I been dealing with hotels tonight for over 6 hours now, including this morning.

“Hotels Tonight” is stating they cannot refund my full amount. When I looked at the properties policy on cancelations and Covid, the mission statement says: “The health and wellbeing of our guest, team members, and all who visit our properties is (hotels) highest priority.”

I called and spoke to reservations and spoke with (blank) she was amazing, she said I am within the 72 hour cancel policy and I should have been refunded my full amount! That all hotels tonight had to do is email is (email) which I did for them since they can’t and want to just steal my money.

I have gone around and around for 6 hours with no resolution from the following people “hotels tonight” team

I will gladly contact the better business bureau since this is the most outrageous, unethical treatment I’ve received from any company. Basically they keep stating they can only refund second night, due to your hotels policy, (liars). When I called the hotel property and reservations line they state differently. I even got a name and your e-mail from that call.

I have lost trust in a third party site I’ve used since 2012! They obviously have zero care or remorse. I know my health and well-being should be a priority. They use words like I am sorry but are stealing my money.

Obviously if it wasn’t risking the health of others as well as my well-being I’d gladly go on this trip. Please someone help me regain faith in humanity!

I also learned they won’t refund me fully since my reservation wasn’t fully canceled, they are trying to basically not get it canceled so they can make money off my misfortune!

Not only are the rates not even worth it but the customer service is absolutely terrible. Booked a hotel for one night and had a terrifying experience. The area was so sketchy ( even though on the app it said it was in a PRIME LOCATION ) and a couple of minutes after going into my room that was not ideal, a man tried to get into my room. I had deadbolted and locked the door and had to scream for him to stop trying. It was an employee of the hotel. No call. No knock - just tried to get in. Couldnt sleep and had to call a friend to come get me. Hotel tonight basically said " sorry that happened but we cant do anything " and would not give me a refund... they so generously offered me a $40 credit that I would have to use in 90 days and guess what... not all hotels accept the credit.... absolute trash. Will never use this app again!

Booked a room and got a confirmation. Arrived at the confirmed Hotel and lo and behold, they didn't have my reservation or any more rooms.
Hotel Tonight Customer Service was at some offshore call center where they hardly speak understandable English. Would have expected them to book me another room in close proximity to the show venue that I traveled to. Nope, didn't get anything, missed the concert and had to drive HOURS back home.

Save yourself effort and consternation, book direct, NEVER USE HOTEL TONIGHT!

I wouldn’t even give one star because they way they stole my money is utterly ridiculous. I was unable to check into the Borgata AC due to cut off time that I was never told about. Website says check in 4pm I called the hotel they said check in is after 4pm. Long story short I arrived at 3am after a 3hr drive and was unable to check in and was told to hang out in the casino until 6am to check into the the other room I reserved in their sister tower Water Club. I reached out to Hotel Tonight’s customer srvc and was told someone will contact me regarding this matter. Needless to say they never got back to me. I then called a second time and they were rude, in another country and the rep lied about her name. Would not give me her info told me there is nothing they can do and told me she was hanging up the call and sure enough she did. I never stepped foot in the hotel room and was unable to get a refund. Very sad that these people will steal your money and not try and understand the situation and fix it. I’ve booked several rooms through them and to be treated like a piece of trash was insane. I will never book through them ever again. P.S. the rates are the same as the hotel has on their site so you aren’t saving any money. I ADVISE YOU BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH THE HOTEL DIRECTLY TO AVOID GETTING BEAT FOR YOUR MONEY. The way customer srvc handled me was horrific to say the least.

Hotel tonight flat out ripped me off for $278.
I did not confirm nor did I get a chance to confirm booking a room. They charged me because I had a PayPal account on file. They will not respond to my objection . As soon as I saw that they fraudulently charged me for just looking at a hotel choice I immediately replied I did not confirm the booking they won't respond. False charge made on 9/4/2022.

I booked a hotel near Sarasota for my niece but when they pulled up to the hotel at 9am, there were hookers coming out, there was a crime scene going on outside the hotel and a homeless person sitting on the ground near the entrance. This was a sign to leave immediately. They did not check in. I called Hotels tonight for a refund or credit. I spent numerous hours on this and they gave me neither. Don't use Hotels Tonight . Bad Company
