Very welcoming on arrival
Very welcoming on arrival. We went to the lodge allocated to us and on arrival my worst nightmare I hate spiders/ cobwebs they was everywhere from the gate to the windows to the decking . When we went in to the lodge its self it smelt stale the carpet was filthy it had what looked like a spliff burn on it when looking around there was dead spiders on the ceiling. The skirting boards were dirty / dusty . There was damp in the bathroom . And my worst nightmare urine stains on the mattress. I’ve reported it to the manager by email but got no reply as of yet .

Private & quiet but issues with hot tub & stained garments
Nice quiet private place but the robes, towels & curtain around the bed were very heavily stained. Bed comfy. Had issues with the hot tub so had to turn it off at the mains and not use it (main reason we booked a night away). Tried contacting the number given but call wouldn’t connect.

Tesco vouchers not as simple as you might think
The range of properties is extensive and the booking process on the Hoseasons website is smooth.
There are , however, some problems in using Tesco vouchers.
Firstly it is not initially clear that the voucher spend for each booking is limited to £45 (doubled to £90)
Secondly it is not possible to apply a voucher to some of the properties via the website. This was easily resolved after a phone call
